Have talked to multiple residents and we have all complained. They have ONE HVAC maintenance person for HUNDREDS of units (upwards to 1000+) and last summer we were out of a working AC for over a month with at least 4 maintenance requests put in. PECO charged us $300+ every month for an AC that didn't work. They told me I should be patient as they have a lot of people to attend to. I have asthma that is triggered by heat - still did not get to us any faster. These owners are CHEAP and have said replacing any appliances are the very last resort. Currently, our fridge still does not get nearly as cold as it should be. Have called 3-4 times about it and supposedly they fixed it but the same problem. Now, they tell us to turn the dial up a little more (originally they said not to touch it...make it make sense) It's ridiculous! We pay all of this money and they can't replace our fridge that has been here for 10 years plus?! We also specifically got a 2 bedroom apartment for the washer and dryer...also sucks. We have had issues with drying multiple times and honestly needs to get replaced too...they don't care. Have had water issues as well when we first moved in. Gaslit me and told me I wasn't turning on the faucet correctly. Next time I put a request in, another person told me what was wrong. Maintenance people vary and some are better than others. Sure it's "cheaper" than the market nowadays but find somewhere else if you can! Yesterday, large part of a tree fell and absolutely demolished the car next to me. My partner's back window is GONE. Had to wait an hour to call security because they open at 7pm...also ridiculous. Said they are aware of the problem but cannot move it until the morning without an ETA of when they would move it. Blocked my car (as the tree was laying on my car and could not get out nor move it) and forced to take off work. Have talked to people that have lived here for 9+ years and they have never changed their carpet ONCE. Leasing agent told me they change it every so often. Is THAT every so often? These people do not care about your experience but only about $$$$$$$. Fix your management!!!!!!!!!

I absolutely HATE rodents specifically rats and mice. My mother and I have never seen any in our 6 years of living here but out of no where bunches of them are coming into our home, not to mention when i called maintenance about the problem I don't think they took me seriously. I have also had this problem ever since I moved here when my toilet gets super clogged every two months and I had to learn how to unclog it myself because the maintenance people obviously weren't doing a good job.

Do not rent here. The apartments are very overpriced, $1,645 being the cheapest and smallest apt…read moreyou can rent. None of the apts have central a/c or the ability to control the room temperature (heat is base board and is either on or off, no temperature settings.) I was without heat for 4 days in March of this year when temperatures dipped into the teens, so I did not pay rent for 4 days, and management still insists I owe it to them (the PA state law says I don't.) They were supposed to do a massive heating system overhaul in March 2020 but instead bought another property. Every and any bit of work they do is done as cheaply as possible. Our front doors stick because they painted right over the old paint without scraping or sanding. Contractors typically show up in unmarked white vans, and I once called the police because there was a young boy in the hallways ripping out old, dirty carpet from the stairwells without any protective clothing or filtered mask. The massive pot hole in the back parking lot was filled only with sand. The management decided to contract with Comcast, so you have no choice but to use Comcast for internet. My bill went from $40 to $60 to $100 in 2 years, and you have no leverage because they know it's the only service you can get. Walls are thin, you can hear everything in the hallways and your neighbors going to the bathroom and flushing the toilet. My bedroom window doesn't close all the way because it wasn't installed properly, the fan in the bathroom vents into the ceiling (black mold growing around it,) and they even turned down the water pressure after the start or Covid to keep the water bill down! They don't hire a lifeguard for the pool, and we don't know who does the chlorine checks, so few people swim it out of health concerns. Management is greedy, rude, and there have been at least 4 different assistant property managers since I moved in. You can rent a nicer place for less money in Media. The only redeeming quality is Shaun the maintenance guy, but once he's gone, you'll be out of luck. Go elsewhere for nearly $1,700/mo.

My Honest Review After 3+ Years Living Here: I lived at this property for over three years, and…read morewhile it may look appealing on the surface, the reality is a long pattern of mismanagement, poor communication, and declining amenities. Management was overwhelmed and defensive, especially when safety concerns were raised. It often took multiple residents reporting the same issue, like a broken garage gate or elevator, before it was even addressed. And even then, the "solution" was often just accepting that the broken thing had become the new normal. My car was permanently damaged by ceiling leaks in the paid garage. I was moved to several different "new" spots, all of which also leaked. I ended up paying out of pocket for an exterior detail they refused to cover, and was treated disrespectfully just for asking. They shut down the community portal so residents couldn't communicate with each other during a security breach. There was no real accountability, as the property manager's direct supervisor is her own mother. Escalating issues to corporate was pointless. Many amenities were either removed, restricted, or neglected: A shuttle to nearby grocery stores and their sister property was discontinued during COVID and never returned. Pool hours were cut back years after restrictions were lifted. They even started charging to use common areas, including open walkway areas residents must use to take out trash, access the pool, or simply get to their units. Even after moving across the country, and over a year later, I'm still being contacted inappropriately. I recently received an accusatory email blaming me for a random person waiting in the lobby, someone I don't know and who has absolutely no connection to me. The tone was rude, unprofessional, and factually wrong, with zero effort made to verify the information before pointing fingers. If you're considering this place, please talk to current residents and read recent reviews.

They tried to squeeze another month out of us saying that "the 60 day NEEDS to start on the 1st of the month" despite our lease stating otherwise. We argued our lease didn't state that and they stole our security deposit over it. While we were living there it took weeks to get anything fixed: - Motion light in the rear that lead to the laundry room was broken, 3 weeks. - A rotted out cement step, 2 weeks. - They told us we couldn't park in the driveway for the entire winter b/c they kept equipment in the shed, didn't give us parking passes or anything. Sue, the office manager I was in contact with most, could not have been more accessible and responsive anytime I needed her help. In the year I lived there my unit needed a new refrigerator, I told Sue there was a problem and had a new fridge delivered free of charge within days. The property I rented was in a very old building, so there were a couple little issues over the year like the fridge, but nothing major and everything was taken care of by the property management in a timely fashion. They returned my security deposit in less than a month! If you've rented any property before, you know that is a major plus! The only reason I'm not giving them 5 stars is because based on what I pay each month at my new apartment less than a mile away, Philip Green & Son was a little on the expensive side for the amenities offered, but a great company to work with nonetheless. Thanks for a great year Philip Green & Son!
