IF YOU HAVE DOGS OR SMALL CHILDREN, DONT STAT HERE. We booked 2 nights here. The first thing as soon as we pulled in I couldn't get out of my car because of the dogs that were barking aggressively at us right outside the door of our car, right next to the signs that say "No pets in this area" and "All pets must be on leash." When I finally got inside to check in, I mentioned the dogs and the lady working inside said,"The signs don't apply to the owners dogs." Later that evening there was an older gentleman with 2 smaller dogs on a leash trying to take his dogs for a walk, but the owners dogs ambushed the guys dogs, running up to them barking and nipping at them. The owner was nowhere to be seen to control her dogs. The next night when we returned to the campground when I pulled in I turned the corner real slow because I knew the dogs would probably be there, and stopped at the stop sign and continued to our site. A few minutes later the owner came rushing over on her golf cart with her pack of barking dogs and started chewing my husbands ass about how he didn't stop at the stop sign and that the speed limit is 5 mph in the campground and that she watched him pull in, and when I said that was funny because he wasnt driving and I did stop at the stop sign because I knew there were dogs around there. she then told me that I was wrong and that I needed to follow her rules and that I needed to move the car because we were parked on the grass, which there is no grass, it's all weeds. When looking around I noticed that half of the people staying there, or I should say living there were parked on the "grass." While this was going on her dogs were running around our camp site barking at us. The dumpsters were filled with garbage, the noise from the highway is loud, and the people that live there have junk and broke down cars all over the place. The only good thing about this place is that the bathroom was clean. read more

Stayed at the RV Park for a few nights, it is a has been RV Park that has turned into a residence park with a few empty spaces which they have for travelers. The vending machines have cookies and other items from 2003, so you can see how well the owners look after things. The store has everything you will need if you are a resident, but not if you are a traveler (very little if you are a traveler) and most of the items are old. Make sure you stop at her stop sign or she will chase you down and yell at you. Heck, I stopped and she chased me down at yelled at me because she did a California stop.... Yup, I stopped completely and then continued but since I am from California it wasn't a stop... The 2 dumpsters were overflowing with trash on the ground, one resident is building flower boxes and stairs for his income to pay his monthly rent. The laundry is not ventilated but read the sign and don't open the window or you will get yelled at. Our daughter lives in Missoula and we will be going to see her again, but we won't be staying at this location, because when our daughter went to check in at the office to say she was visiting us, the lady want going to let her into the park to park her car behind our rig and car (there was plenty of room. If you are looking for a place and this is the last place to stay at, keep moving as there has to be something better down the road. I can't give it 0 stars or I would. read more

it's a nice rv park sure, but if you plan on staying longterm, or even long enough to take a couple showers I would not recommend, I have my hair colored (the color can run but every time I'm done I scrub what I can from the showers) and even though I'm paying $1400 a month my family gets scolded for the shower being pinkwhile I can understand this being a inconvenience I also feel like there should be professionals cleaners come atleast once a week so this shouldn't necessarily be a issue. Anywho I paid this much staying in a hotel prior where I was allowed and able to shower without feeling uncomfortable. read more

Incredibly rude workers, literally shouted and yelled at us because they made a mistake by thinking we did not pay for our campsite. Even after showing our receipt the women continued to be very rude and aggressive and even accused us of " not being from Montana" which all of us were. Such a disappointment because we live 100 miles away and we like to frequent concerts without having to make a late night drive home. We were excited to have found a spot to stay close to the venue; we will not be staying here again and they will miss out on reliable, repeatable business. Do better! read more

Do not stay here if you have dogs. Signs everywhere that dogs must be on a leash. Theirs are not and come barking and charging at my small leashed dog. Unacceptable! read more

The grounds are pretty and the facilities are nice at this campground, however the owner/management really taints the experience. Unfortunately Kathy at the front desk is unkind and dishonest. Upon arriving to the campsite we had reserved two months in advance, there was another party at the site and we quickly realized that it had been overbooked without notice to either of us, or compensating for the mistake. We agreed with the other party to squeeze into the same site since we had both paid to be there. Then when we were leaving at the end of the weekend Kathy tracked us down and angrily told us that we had more than 4 people in our site and needed to pay the difference. Even though we had exactly 4 people in the site (not including the other party), she refused to listen. Her method of communication is aggressive without room for understanding. Overall I do not recommend staying at Turah RV Park unless management changes hands or Kathy learns to be kind. read more

This is a rather small camp site. We stayed 4 nights to explore the back country near Missoula. The site was quiet, reasonably priced, close to the river (good fishing) and easy to find. They have a few permanent residences that need to fix up their rigs. Other than that, it was nice - primarily because of the river. If we are in the area in the future, will likely stay here again. read more

We have stayed in the cabins here twice. We are always greeted warmly by the campground owner. The campground is peaceful and quiet, and the showerhouse is clean. There is no running water in the cabins, but there is electricity. A public water access to the Clark Fork River is nearby. We will definitely stay here again. read more

I can't believe this place has any good reviews. The lady at the desk is perhaps the rudest person we have ever encountered in Montana. So incredibly unprofessional. She has stop signs that say Stop, Residents only, guests check in at desk. After checking in and setting up we left for a while and upon our return we did not stop fully at the sign (thinking it was to stop and check in which we had done already) and she came out to our site screaming at the top of her lungs. Screaming and so condescending. Of course we apologized and assured her it would not happen again and she continued on and on. A bit later we went back in to apologize again and she continued her nasty attitude. Her dogs who are not leashed (& it is a park rule) are quite aggressive and she just yells at them when they bark and nip at people. The park has mostly residents with a few guest spots, they are not neat and clean. Looks tacky. Do yourself a favor and stay at JIm and Mary's down the road, lovely park and lovely people! read more
