Beautiful course. Love all the trees. Almost every hole offers a unique challenge. The water 9 is great for enjoying the boats that go by. Great to walk. Fairways, tees and greens are nicely maintained. The greens are very fast. They also offer foot-golf. Apparently many high school teams place here and that really slows play but great to see the next generation learning the game. Breakfast is good here for those early birds. Wonderful price and fast service. Sometimes they run out of carts. With a 27 hole course there is a lot of variety.

Loved this course! The fairways and greens were in immaculate condition! Staff was extremely nice! Very busy, but worth the wait!

Unprofessional and aggressive. Older staff are unnecessarily rude. Horrible experience overall and would not return.

First off, I am a straight up beginner. I can tell Off the…read morebat that this course would be a lot of fun if I was better. To be honest I was petrified of losing one of the only three discs I own. Lots of ponds and water obstacles. With that said, it is a very fun sport and will definitely be back after I improve my game at more beginner level courses.

I'm a casual disc golfer meaning that I go about twice a month at the most. This course seems to be set up a little more for the more avid disc golfers. Every time that I've gone, there has been quite a few avid players. I don't know if professional is the term for them but they are close to it. I usually feel a little out of my league when I play there. Two of the holes focus on a water hazard that for a casual disc golfer are a bit more challenging than I care to attempt. The first one angles across a decent size pond. The other one has the basket directly beside the pond. For me personally, I have no desire to get close to losing my disc in the water. If you want a challenging course, then this is a pretty good course. If you're a casual disc golfer, then I think there are some other courses in the area that might be a little more enjoyable. I'm just really not that big of a fan of the setup of the course. One cool thing about the course though is the fact that it does have 24 holes instead of the conventional 18 holes in case you want to skip the water hazard holes.

I think it's a shining gem and the area Metro Parks network. The park is segmented into at least three sections (it could be more, honestly). My personal favorite, and most frequently visited, is the archery range. Even if this was all the part consisted of, it would be the gem by itself. Anything like this I've found down south would come at a fee and still not be so well maintained. Then there's the XC course combined with the disc golf course. Just to sit or walk here taking in the broad vistas is a meditative experience for me. The entire place is cleaned and mowed frequently. Even in winter it can be breathtaking. To be honest, I haven't even made it to the main section of the park featuring the pond and trails where you can kayak and hike. All of this for the price of your tax dollars already paid. Still I see these places lightly visited and, therefore, even more worth your time.

We immediately went to the park, and my kids had an absolute blast. They're 3 and 1, but I saw plenty of older kids having fun as well. We checked out the lake, which was super pretty (watch out for goose poop!). I noticed some people fishing, and it looked like there were canoes around too! We then decided to have some lunch. There are plenty of picnic tables, so finding a spot to sit is not a problem. We ended the visit with one more trip to the park and then left. My kids were EXHAUSTED afterward, and I always appreciate a place that can tire them out. I'd like to visit again on a solo trip and walk a few miles around the lake next time!

There's a nearby park that has alot of activities for kids, decent restrooms and even canoe rentals. We hiked the entire trail around the pond and it was absolutely beautiful and peaceful. It can be really muddy depending on when you go. Structures are in solid standing. Trail features small slopes so it's not completely flat. Great place to visit.

TENNIS COURTS -- I arrived to play tennis. There are about 8 tennis courts which is plenty for a park. When I arrived around 4pm, there were people playing tennis and about 5 courts open. The tennis courts are all hard surface and it felt good to play on them. The nets seemed well kept as well. I have no complaints about the conditions of the court. The park itself has a big grassy field that sits on a hill just across from the tennis courts. I heard that there used to be a swimming pool here but that has since been removed. I didn't get to walk around the other side of the park. PROS -- Clean park with plenty of tennis courts. CONS -- There aren't many benches to sit on by the big grassy field and I didn't see any swings or play activities for kids. I don't have kids but I'm assuming that families with kids would prefer a park with swings or slides. Well, now that I think about it, there are benches by a big open structure in the ground which I hear will become a man-made pond soon. Be careful if you bring kids here because they may easily slide down and fall into it. If I'm in the area again, I'll definitely be back to play tennis since I love tennis. **** - 34/100 total reviews in 2021 - 454 total overall Yelp reviews - Reviewed on 30 May 2021
