This is a very small lounge. They definitely lack in space. The seats are crowded next to each other, which is terrible especially if you have bags with you. The service is the best thing the lounge has. The staff is really pleasant. The cold food bar area is kept well stocked as well as the drink bar. They have a self serve drink bar with alcoholic beverages and non alcoholic as well. They also have coffee and tea. There is a QR code on the tables to order some hot food items. I order pasta with vegetarian meatballs. The food was terrible. The noodles were extremely overcooked. The pomodoro sauce had no flavor and the meatballs were not good. It felt like it came straight out of the microwave. They definitely have to improve on the quality of the hot dishes. Way below par. Not to mention it took forever to come out. The Turkish Lounge at Terminal D/E in Miami International Airport is a nice spot to recharge before a flight. Even when it's packed with travelers from all over, the service never skips a detail. Food trays are rotated and refilled the moment they run low, keeping everything fresh and inviting. The spread is a feast of Turkish flavors: garbanzo cucumber onion salad, hummus, Muhammara, pita bread, shredded chicken seasoned with Mediterranean spices, almond rice (cooked loose yet fluffy), and a hearty curry chicken soup that hits just warm when the airport A/C is blasting like there's no tomorrow. There's also a quinoa and grain salad tossed with tomatoes, cucumbers, and onions, plus a full salad bar if you want to build your own plate. Desserts keep up with the turkish tradition: flaky baklava and an addictive chocolate mousse, the perfect pair with a cappuccino from their coffee machine (and yes, they now have decaf options so you don't mess up your in-flight sleep). The bar is well stacked with bailey's, aperol, whiskey or your favorite spirit, beer or wine to relax your anxiety travel mind. Special recognition to Yudiel, who went above and beyond by warming up my plate until the cheese on my sandwich was perfectly melted. Yes, they also serve tuna sandwiches and avocado bread rolls, which make for an easy grab-and-go bite. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is the tiny space. The operators really need to expand, it gets crowded, creates hectic lines, and takes away a bit from what should be a fully relaxing pre-flight experience. I think I might have preferred sitting in the terminal with how chaotic and busy this lounge was. The good news is that they do accept priority pass, the bad news is that because they accept priority pass it's a bit of a cluster. Finding a seat is a bit of a headache. They have a bathroom inside the lounge that is poorly maintained and dirty. To save my seat, I put my recyclable metal water bottle and a glass of water on a table. I come back after flagging down my husband who had our suitcases to the server throwing away our stuff. They had limited food options, but at least hot eggs and potatoes for breakfast. The rest didn't really do much - bread, dry cookies, cheese, alcohol. The thing that shined is water bottles that you could take and soda cans. Might be better than nothing for priority pass users, but the spike in stress might not be worth it. Better off paying $15 for your own breakfast at a less busy restaurant in the terminal. read more

This place was very much decent. It was pretty much like the standard priority pass airport lounge experience that I usually have.. the food was fair not bad, but definitely not amazing. They had a self serve bar with wine and champagne, though which I liked. I don't think I've ever gone to a self serve bar in an airport lounge before so that was a nice touch, but I didn't particularly enjoy the drinks that I had either so that wasn't anything to write home about. The options for food were pretty interesting and I will say there was a lot to choose from which was good. I also love rice pudding and they had that as a dessert option which I was very excited about. It was also very spacious. There was definitely a good amount of seating. I was originally seated in a wooden chair, but ended up being able to move to more of a leather couch type of loveseat just for more comfort and since there was so much space I was able to do so. We were there during lunch time and they have an assortment of hot food (spaghetti and some chicken pasta) with salad and various cheeses. Love the dessert since I am a big fan of baklava. There is a wide range of wine here from the very cheap $4 a bottle type, to a tasty Sauvignon Blanc from Mendoza that I did enjoy. My partner loved the Aperol Spritzes I made. So you can still have a quality drink here. The food left very little to be desired. A guacamole sandwich? Yes, that is on the buffet. Sliced cheese in the dessert refrigerator that everyone uses the same tongs say for the chocolate cake as the cheddar cheese? Yep! Kind of gross, unless chocolate icing and cheddar is your thing. Not mine. The entire place feels a little bare and basic. But again, going back to my original line. Free food? Free wine? Sign me up! But just keep your expectations in check. Really well equipped lounge. I enjoyed the open bar with my SO on our flight to NYC. The aperol spritz was made perfectly. The bathrooms were nice. Is there a 10 star option because the Turkish Airlines lounge at MIA deserves it. The food? SUPERB, tons of delicious quinoa, hummus, fresh chicken, desserts, fruits and vegetables. I had about 10 glasses of prosecco served with kindness and beauty by the employees. I had a better time at the lounge than I did in Miami itself! Not the best airport lounge I've been to but also not the worst. While it's on the small side and looks dated, I appreciate the food spread in the morning. I was able to find vegan options and enjoyed a bowl of oatmeal with brown sugar, sunflower seeds, peanuts, raisins, and cinnamon. We visited the Turkish lounge on the J/H connector. What I love about this place is the day beds provided in a separate open room. There are 6 day beds where you can take naps. The beds are curvy shaped and a little harder on your back. Honestly, it was hard to sleep, but nice to just lay down to rest. The food was OK but didn't like the sandwiches on the buffet. There were 3 kinds of sandwiches which include Tuna, avocado with lettuce and last one is veggie sandwich. Cold dishes also include some green leafy vegetables, pasta, olives, etc. I love the snacks which include peanuts, pretzels, lady finger and cookies. If you are lucky, you may take an advantage of the Airport Lounge Service to save you a 25-minute walk from the check-in security gate to this lounge entrance. It's worth noting there is more than one Turkish Airline lounge and there's a really significant difference in the quality and size. My review is for the lounge by the J/H connector, which is the larger and arguably better-serviced lounge. Compared to other lounges in other airports, I've never seen this one ridiculously crowded and I've never had to wait to get in. There's tons of seating and yes maybe it's a bit close together, but at least you won't be without a seat. If you're in a hurry, there's a selection of dips and small bites in the buffet area. We loved the hummus and baba ganoush. If you have time to sit, you can order hot food prepared a la carte from the QR code on the tables. I'm not sure this is clear to everyone, especially judging from the reviews that say the food is limited and there's no hot food - maybe they need to advertise this better? Be sure not to change tables or move the tables since the order is location-based. I've never had to wait very long at all when ordering food through the code. Usually it's out in about 10 min. Lots of great middle eastern bites. My husband loved the falafel. I was a big fan of the soup. There's also a bar where you can order a variety of drinks. My husband had a nice Aperol spritz. There's also a coffee machine with tons of choices. If you'd like a Turkish coffee, you can ask the staff to help make you one. Lastly, don't sleep on the desserts! Lounge was clean and empty when I visited, had veggie snack offerings, a bar with a bartender, nap room, and plenty of space to post up. I didn't have time to order hot food, but looked like there were a handful options e.g. falafel with rice and veggies, spaghetti and meatballs. All the staff were nice and polite. This not like a luxury Chase lounge, but I thought it was better than sitting in the boarding area. I did not need to pre-book on Priority Pass, and was able to get in without issue. There is a sardine can and there is a Turkish Airlines lounge in Concourse E. The two have lots in common. Both smell fishy and both are packed tightly without a bit of breathing room. At least the sardines are packed into a clean can, while this lounge is a collection of heavily worn out furniture and peeled off paint doors that look like they'd belong in a dive bar. If one ends up at this lounge after purchasing a business class ticket, this will be a major feeling of buyer's remorse. This place is pathetic and sad. Beige chairs are placed so tightly to each other that there is no room to squeeze past other visitors and the lounge is fully packed to capacity. It's a tiny room that feels magnitudes more crowded than the airport. Thus, sitting at the airport outside this lounge is quite a relief. Bathrooms didn't even have properly running water, just a thin stream of drops that would require a solid time commitment to get hands clean. The only thing this lounge does have is a bit of a food selection, mainly composed of light salads, a couple vegetable soups and cheeses. Coffee machines are there, but the cups are hit or miss on cleanliness. The team working here did work hard trying to keep things as clean as possible and as a whole, their efforts are clearly evident as the place did not turn into a garbage dump, yet it is largely an impossible task given the number of guests packed into this tiny room. Sadly, United States has some rather terrible lounges compared to most of the world and hopefully that starts to change. However, this lounge scores up there with the worst and I would recommend avoiding it. For Priority Pass, using the credit at the Corona Restaurant is a much better idea. Ps. I hear there is a newer and better Turkish lounge in a different concourse at MIA, so do not confuse the two. Some of the reviews and photos on this Yelp Page seem to be for the other Turkish lounge, thus the rating is inflated. read more

Step off the lounge elevator and you're in an empty space all around. No directional signs to the lounge. Luckily a man entering the elevator said to turn left, right down empty corridor and right. Unless you know this, you'd have a 50% chance to turn left LOL. Such a simple customer friendly fix? I also lucked out moving to the back of the elevator and became the first off and in line at check-in. It was quick; all I showed was my Lufthansa boarding pass. The lounge looks fairly new, but over-crowded. Not one two-top table and barely any seats. Also hardly any outlets which is strange for a newer lounge. Food was decent with a Middle Eastern focus. Couscous and egg/potato salad was good. The self-serve coffee machines were cool. The small bar is basic for an international lounge. Restrooms are decent but the stalls have unusual latch so you're not sure if it is locked. It's ok for a Star Alliance lounge (and the only *A choice in MIA). Too bad Swiss or Lufthansa don't have one here because their lounge standards are a cut above. read more

Overall this lounge is meh. However I am thankful for any lounge at all. It's cramped and crowded. It's a far walk from all the gates. The buffet is bare minimums with a few salad bar items & mini sandwich sliders. There are a few a la carte menu items you can order via QR code which is better. The lounge has separate rooms for priority pass members vs. Biz class tickets. Priority pass is straight ahead behind the checkin desk, and is more cramped with sub-average buffet food & self-serve drinks. The Biz class lounge is through the right-side door and more private, Also a bit more classy with nicer seating. This is a 24 hour lounge at H and J concourses. But TSA and clear and security check in only starts at 4am so unless you have arrived to MIA airport and you are able to lounge after arrival or you wait until 4am you can't access it. I arrived at 4am and it was immaculate. Lounge chairs in a special room to sleep and a dining room to eat or a family room to enjoy w family are all here. Plus there's Turkish coffee! It's very nice to have this lounge at all hours. The food is standard: eggs w spinach, potatoes, oatmeal, fruit, cheese, dates, cookies, teas, muffins, bread, clubs cous, pesto and cheese sandwiches, tuna w lettuce, and a bar. There's light elevator music in the background so it's not loud. There's light space is beautiful and relaxing. Definitely this is a place to return. But it's super freezing in here w lots of AC. I wish they would lower it a bit so I didn't have to wear my jacket and drink hot water. It would save the lounge some money also on bills. read more

I have torn feelings about this lounge, not sure if it was an off day (staff wise) or if it's always like this. Of course the MIA is always busy so we weren't sure if we'd get into any of the lounges. Having priority pass came in clutch and we decided to give it a try. I do have to say the staff standing outside are extremely rude (almost discriminating towards men and women preferring to be kinder to men which again I don't want to give that idea but that's totally what it felt like). We arrived with a party 5 and when we got to the door I simply let them know we were 5. As soon as she saw it was Priority Pass she instantly was like NOPE it's an hour wait. So I said no problem, is there any way we can come back sooner to check back in. She almost said no but then said yes with an extremely rude look. The crazy part is that my husband went separately alone and she instantly let him in, no questions asked, also priority pass. The issue here apparently was the "larger group". So we went back and my while my husband was still outside and as soon as she saw me her face dropped and she was basically screaming in my face saying she told us to wait bla bla bla. I told her that we were happy to split up and that's what we did. A group of 3 of us went in first and under 10 min later the 2 of us went in. Everyone else inside the lounge was so nice and friendly. Once we made it into the lounge I don't want to exaggerate but it was pretty empty, maybe 65% full? Either way, just so over the top and rude and you couldn't even wait in line outside otherwise she'd come out and yell. Felt pretty exaggerated to me. They do have some off the menu options for you to order (I know it's free food) but it's still pretty bland and just not the best but again better than airplane stuff. Still confused as to why every dish has a cherry on it LOL. The bar is a tad confusing since the gentleman running it honestly had very basic knowledge on bartending (like me hehe) so that was a little off putting but either way, just happy we have a lounge to go to and relax before our flight. They have a bit of everything, salad bar, food bar, menu options (mostly Mediterranean/middle eastern inspired, yum!), dessert options, sodas water all the good stuff. This is a decent lounge. The main part of the lounge is pretty nice but when it is at over flow capacity, you will be placed in a temporary seating area that is not as nice. Most of the food items are at the buffet area but you can order hot food off of their menu by using a QR code on the tables. They ll bring the food over to you. First off, the front desk woman working there on Sunday afternoon (5/5/24) was incredibly rude and unprofessional (dismissing us quickly, telling her colleague downstairs who is qualified to come up) - Girl, it's not a South Beach club! She was the absolute worst! I'm a United cardholder (several) and I wasn't sure if we'd be able to come in, but we were since it's part of the Star alliance. I can't even imagine those who are 1K and more elite members are treated. Yikes! luckily, we were able to enter after she scanned our credentials. This is my first time to a Turkish lounge and while it wasn't anything special, it was better than spending time waiting by the gate. There were 2 rooms on the side, one for doing some work and another for napping or resting. There was a ton of seats/tables available, but some were kind of gross and dirty. We were able to watch the race on one of the tvs there, as well as snack on some of the food they had available. Bathrooms were clean and quiet if you needed to take care of business. They even have small bottled water if you want to take one on your flight. Definitely worth a visit if you want a place to relax before your flight in Concourse H, but just be prepared to show all your documentation. Send positive vibes to the nasty female employee working there; she clearly hates her job and needs some love and light in her life. read more

To get to this lounge, you exit to the right from the security checkpoint for Terminal H and J. The Turkish airlines Lounge sign is on the left---can't miss it! You don't need to prebook for a $7 fee like the Priority Pass app suggests. Just walk through the doors, take the elevator up (a Turkish Airlines Lounge-specific elevator) and turn left and go down a meandering hallway to check -in to the lounge. The front desk person asks for your Priority Pass card (app QR code or the physical card) and your boarding pass. I have access to this card through my Chase Sapphire Reserve card, and my friend has access through her American Express Platinum card. We visited before a flight out of Miami, but presumably you could also visit after landing in Miami and are still on the postsecurity side. The lounge is upscale, clean, huge (must be a recent change given other reviewers saying it's small), we lit with plenty of natural light, and views of the tarmac. There is tons of comfortable seating. The bathrooms were clean. They have a single-stall bathroom as well as the communal ones. There's also about 6 loungers in a room intended for guests who wish to sleep, but there's no door to that room so it's not very quiet. The food wasn't good. The orange juice was lukewarm. No hot food at all. The cold food was bland. The muffins were stale and flavorless. They have sodas, water, wine, coffee, and tea, as well asjuices in carafes. There's a bar, but it was not staffed and didn't seem open at 7 AM. Someone routinely comes out to clear empty dishes. Overall, come if you have time to spare and Priority Pass covers it.
