I was a bit disappointed with Turkish kitchen, especially being that I adore this type of cuisine. Service was pretty slow, almost like only a couple of servers for the entire restaurant. With that being said, everyone was extremely friendly, but it did take awhile for our drinks to be refilled and place orders. Onto the food, everything I had was really good, but I just feel like it was overpriced, especially considering the small portions. I really couldn't overlook that there are plenty of options in Tampa, Saint Pete, Tarpon Springs at a cheaper price with larger portions and this is Brandon. I will give them another shot just in case my experience was off because again, everything did taste really good, but I just didn't see a wow factor appeal that would bring me back over other Mediterranean restaurants in our area.

I took my wife on a date to Turkish Kitchen in Brandon tonight and it absolutely delivered. We ordered the beef shish, lamb shish, and calamari, and every single dish was cooked perfectly. The beef was tender, juicy, and packed with smoky grilled flavor. The lamb was even better...it was incredibly soft, well-seasoned, and clearly high-quality meat with that rich, authentic Turkish taste you hope for but don't always get. The calamari was a standout starter: light, crispy, and not greasy at all, with a clean fresh flavor and a great dipping sauce. Portions were good and the plates came beautifully arranged with rice, fresh salad, grilled vegetables, and sauces that actually tasted homemade. What really makes this place shine is how authentic everything feels and not just "Mediterranean-style," but genuinely Turkish cooking done right. If you're in the Brandon area and want real flavorful, fresh, and satisfying, this spot is 100% worth the visit. Definitely coming back to try more from the menu.

Back again and everything is still amazingly delicious. This time we tried the saksuka and kibbeh icli kofte for appetizers, both of which were excellent. And then the kofte (meatballs), doner, and adana. 10/10 across the board, plus complimentary hot tea to finish the meal?? Love this place.

One of our favorite places to eat! Love the atmosphere, staff is friendly and the food is so good! I hate to admit it, but we eat here multiple times a month. My favorite appetizer is the baked hummus and fresh bread. Some of the dishes that I have tried (and ordered more than once) are the sea bass, chicken casserole, chicken adana, chicken shish, the rice pudding and the Turkish tea. I've also had the falafel plate. You will be welcomed with friendly faces and the service has always been good. We always end up taking home leftovers, so that should tell you there are decent size portions. You will not be disappointed!

In plaza next to pizza joint on Bloomingdale. Plenty of parking. Inside was nice with the open kitchen. Smelled great walking in. We were seated in back room which is not as nice as the front. Service was OK. A little slow. But food was tasty. We got 2 mixed grills for 4 of us. The variety was nice and everything tasted very good. Would have liked a little more sauce to share. But overall food was good. I did think the price was a bit high. Many similar places are the same. Saw one group come in and review menu, comment about prices and walk out. But this place has good food so worth a try. Not many places like this in area so nice addition.

I came to Turkish Kitchen because i was craving Turkish coffee. I am happy I stayed to eat lunch as well because it was delicious. I got the lamb Adana. The ambiance is very welcoming and the restaurant is well decorated, it is very aesthetically pleasing. The hostess and hosts were so kind and welcoming. I immediately told my friends about this place. I'll be back soon.

Came in for a later dinner and the place was packed! Large restaurant with variety of table and booth options and outside patio seating as well. We were able to get a both for the two of us and decided on a bunch of appetizers to share instead of entrees because they all sounded amazing. Service was fantastic and ALL our food was delicious. I will be dreaming about that pita bread. Looking forward to the next time I'm visiting family to dine here again!

Love it! It's great to have such a unique Turkish experience here in Brandon. I love what they've done to this space to make it so open & welcoming. It's located on Bloomingdale Avenue next to the Olde Town Pizzaria. We visited during its soft opening. Everything is on slow mo at the moment, so please be patient and allow more time to enjoy it. Our late lunch visit was the perfect timing even though it started getting busy around 2pm. I can already foresee that they will be hiring more servers once the word gets out. They still handled it well. Ercan (Can) greeted us immediately, and was so very helpful & professional. It took us a little while to decide. Everything on the menu looks so good. There are so many hot & cold mezze on the menu. We ended up skipping the starters, and ordered 2 of the Mix Shish (beef shish & chicken shish) with a boat-shaped cheese pide. It was more than enough food for 2 people. The oven baked pide is a meal in itself. Everything was delicious! We had enough left over for dinner. The shish was tender and well-seasoned. The grilled Turkish pepper served on the side is super hot. My husband loved that. I gave him mine. Lol! You've been warned. The biggest surprise was the incredibly cheesy pide. I can't believe how much I'm craving it again. Some say it's like a Turkish pizza. It's so much better than that description. I love the thin flatbread, and you'll actually see them rolling out the dough after you order it. It is so fresh, light, and crispy. I can't wait to order more than just the cheese next time. I want to try them all. It heated up very nicely the next day. I finally tried Maras ice cream for the first time. It was better than imagined. The traditional chewy texture was there. It was super rich & milky from the goat's milk. What a cool experience! The Turkish tea was also delightful. They have many other desserts including kunefe, kazandibi, and sutlac. I can't wait try them. Looking forward to more visits. I can see lots of future success for this new restaurant.

So excited to have a new restaurant in Bloomingdale!Of course i had to try it. the place is cozy, the service was great, and the food was pretty good too. I went with my husband and we shared the Mix Grill, it comes with rice and salad (it's meant for two, but honestly with an appetizer, it could be enough for three people) we had the hummus to start and it was fresh and tasty, the falafel wasn't my favorite a bit dry and not too flavorful. For dessert, we tried the baklava and the kunefe both were good, but I've had better baklava before. Overall, i'm happy to have Turkish food in the area the place looks really nice and modern. I'll go back for sure.

EFFIN MIND BLOWN. In town for a work trip and it's also my bday. I knew I wanted a big bday meal but didn't want to feel sluggish after so Mediterranean seemed like a good choice. My gawsh the place was empty besides one outside table that seemed done eating but still enjoying each others company (table was still there after I left). I honestly dont know how this place wasn't packed with every table, maybe because it was a Tuesday? I had the ground lamb and chicken as well as haydari dip and I couldn't imagine a better birthday dinner having to be alone. I like the tampa area but i never think of it as having outstanding food but this is by far the best I have had in Tampa area out of the many times I have visited! Thanks Turkish Kitchen!

Food was awesome and tasted fresh. Ambience was OK. Service was good. There were small gnats at our table with a downside and loud music near our table which should have been turned down. We did not request this. It just played naturally loud in the background. Food was recently priced with some items on the expensive side, others very reasonable considering the quality I would visit again.

The sangrias and margaritas for the buy one get one were premade and wine choices were limited. The food was just ok. I got the Acropolis seafood with rice. It was just a few, very small pieces of seafood with veggies as a filler. The service was hit or miss. At times attentive and others it took a while to get back to the table. They also didn't tell us about drink specials initially. Later when our bills came, almost everyone had to send theirs back for edits for the drink specials we did get.

Upon being seated you're served warm and freshly made pita with the most delicious and smooth tzatziki for dipping. Sooo good! We started with the calamari which was perfectly lightly battered and seasoned lightly, and cooked so well it wasn't chewy, had the slight crisp to it, and was served with a slightly battered and fried banana pepper and a few carrot sticks as well. Absolutely delicious. Every time. My daughter had the Acropolis seafood with rice. Sautéed shrimp, mussels, scallops, mushrooms, red onions and bell peppers with Acropolis signature roasted red pepper sauce over rice or penne pasta. Topped with shaved parmesan cheese She's incredibly hard to please and she loved her food. She said the rice was the perfect choice over the pasta as it was lighter for her and so much food she couldn't finish. Very well seasoned and full of flavor. I had the Chicken Rhodes. Premium grilled chicken breast in a manatari sauce, sautéed with artichokes, sun dried tomatoes, spinach and olives. Topped with crumbled feta cheese and served with orzo and roasted vegetables. It was DELICIOUS. The chicken was cooked well, but the FLAVORS were a party in my mouth! The roasted vegetables were the best I've had anywhere. Perfectly cooked and the seasoning and flavor was out of this world! I would go just to order the veggies they were that amazing! Brussels, zucchini, squash, and peppers. Fire!! Star of the plate! I demolished them first. The chicken was smothered in delicious toppings! The artichokes, Kalamata olives, sun dried tomatoes, feta, the sauce, everything was incredibly lip smacking delicious. The orzo was cooked perfectly with just the right amount of flavor to be subtle with the well seasoned veggies and complimented the dish perfectly. It was served with feta, some roasted red peppers, and a few olives in it as well. Our meal was fabulous and I can't wait to go back and try more things off the menu. I have no idea why this place wasn't busier.

Security folks were real cool and we were inside after a short wait in line (maybe 2-3 minutes). Once inside the vibes were chill, the music seems catered to an older 40s+ crowd, but I'm knocking on the door of 40 so that was fine for me. What wasn't fine though is how bad the service is, one of the bartenders must have been on pills or something because she was the slowest I've ever dealt with, I'm talking 5 minutes for her to make 2 simple drinks. She also skipped over my group to help someone who walked up that was her friend. We got our drinks and found a table outside. Spent probably an hour here, the vibes outside were what you expect from most bars like this in Tampa. Very few people dancing or having a good time, most are standing on the wall trying to look cool or scrolling their phones. The DJ wasn't the problem, the crowd was. Food was pretty bad as well. I thought it was expensive at $24, but it seemed to be the best way to try a wide variety of things. The five items I got, ranked from best to least best: 2 falafels-really good, hummus-very good, cucumber salad-good, cous cous-fine, beet salad-meh. Make sure you ask for the hot sauce - it jazzed everything up. The platter was served with a couple of pieces of pita, but there really needed to be more to dip into all the salads. The only available drinks were to purchase bottled water or bottled soda. I only ate about a third, but I will say it did not travel well. Because three of the salads were placed in the same section, by the next day all three salads were a combined soggy mess, and the only part that was still edible was the hummus.
