We rented a 24' Wildwood trailer from Turnkey and pulled it over 4,500 miles! Yes, I meant we went across country and back. Everything went very well. Had to call the maintenance number once because I could not figure out how to disconnect the hitch release (duh, Homer). He was very kind over the phone. We learned so much about trailer RVing. The experience was well worth it. I don't think we would have made correct decisions about RV life without this experience. Turnkey made it possible without trial and error. They had all the necessary tools, chocks, hitch and even had wood blocks for us to place under the trailer. The additional 2x6 three tiered made leveling SOOO easy on those pesky RV parks that were sloped. We could stop virtually anywhere, eat lunch, take a break, or take a nap. We were very pleased with the Meridian RV we rented. It was so much nicer than I thought a rental would be! One of my biggest concerns was that the a/c would work. Just rented a Forester 28 ft Unit #8 had it for about 10 days, took it out to the Oregon Dunes with my family, our family rented two of them. They gave us a walk around before we left showed us everything we needed to know. Price was a bit higher than prior rentals I've rented, but it came stocked with all the kitchen needs. Pots are a bit older but still useable. Plenty of utensils and plates and cups. Love the extra storage with the pantry and the added outdoor kitchen. Overall very comfortable. Only issues we had in the rv worth mentioning was the second step is a torn in the rubber from prior use so had a couple trips but nothing major. Overall a great experience with Turn Key Rental, good customer service, very accommodating. read more

We rented the 22' Forester for visiting family during the Thanksgiving weekend. This is a great holiday "lodging" option, to be sure. It ran smoothly and the services and mechanisms all seemed to work well, without issue, and be in good working order. We had the impression that mechanically the RV is well maintained and cared for, and we definitely appreciated the ease of the "turn key" aspect of it all. The rental served as a great test drive, as we are are considering buying our own, and this 22' Forester definitely charmed the two of us! At the writing of this review we are pleased thus far. We did have some slight concerns about a couple of housekeeping issues, which we will communicate with Turn Key directly. Clean RV, everything pretty much perfect. Ensure you do a full inspection! I was given a walk around of the RV. I however was not provided with a view of the roof. Upon returning the RV and perfect condition, i was told it was damage to the roof and that i caused it... i was in open land the entire time of using the RV. Damage was clearly already done, and i was used as the customer to create a fix for them.... Unable to do anything, turnkey took $200 of my 500 dollar deposit. I told them i never went under anything, was in open land the entire time.. but they insisted that the damage was done by me.... ENSURE YOU CHECK THE ENTIRE RV, including roof. Don't make the mistake i did and take they word. read more

Worst experience of my life! What went from being an awesome getaway weekend turned into a huge nightmare over a small hole in one of the RV cushions. Eleanor has put us through hell and now threatens to get lawyer involved all over a small hole. I offered to take it myself for repair and we never refused to pay. Instead of trying to work with us despite our frustrations they refused to talk to me and still holding our deposit. The RV sat for a week before we were contacted, I went above and beyond cleaning. We had great vacation! Turn Key RV was really wonderful at communication and they were super friendly and helpful! Our RV had a slide that wasn't working properly before our vacation even started and they called us immediately to notify us. They offered us another RV, but we decided to stay with the one we reserved because it was bigger, so we just didn't use that slide for a few days. Turn Key ordered the part and their repair man Leonard met us on the road to repair it one morning. We parked it and left for an excursion and it was fixed by the time we got back:) He was super fast and friendly as well. Eleanor was excellent. What a nice group of people. We rented a motorhome from this place and ended up having some serious problems with the drive line and ended up needing to be towed 3 hours and as a result, because the motorhome had to be at the mechanics for several days in Bakersfield, our Disneyland/San Diego trip was completely messes up but everyone here at Turn Key was so helpful and did everything they could to make it right for our families considering to awful circumstances. This was our second time renting their R-pod - it was great! They provide a trailer hitch that's the right height, sway bars, and everything you need to get it hooked up to the car (except the tow package built into the car, of course :) ) The paperwork is quick. They do have a pretty strong leave-no-trace policy - there's a fee for bringing it back with a propane tank that needs filling, a fee for cleaning the inside, a fee for getting the outside excessively dusty, a fee for bringing it back without dumping the septic tank (but that one's waived if you post a review!) I bet the extra fees are part of the reason their RVs are so well taken care of. It's a great place to rent from, we'll definitely be back! read more
