The flight was ok, I find when you make all the things nothing really stands out, but the Everyday whiskey was a nice smooth sip which I very much enjoyed. For dinner I had the smoked brisket which was tasty, but the sides (garlic mashed potatoes, carrots and asparagus) were fire. Service was great, they weren't very busy so it was easy to get a table and get served. Overall I would definitely come back to roll for a random cocktail and enjoy more flights of their other offerings!

**Disappointing Experience - Poor Puzzle Mechanics**…read more We recently completed the Harry Potter-themed escape room and were very disappointed. While we enjoy a challenging escape room, the biggest issue was that solving the puzzles didn't consistently trigger the sensors to move the game forward. Several times, we had the correct solution, but the room wouldn't register it unless we positioned pieces in a very specific way--such as ensuring a light blinked only once or flipping objects precisely to trigger a magnet. Instead of rewarding problem-solving, it felt like we were fighting with the mechanics of the room. An escape room should challenge players intellectually, not frustrate them with overly finicky sensors. If you solve a puzzle correctly, it should work--without having to repeatedly reposition items in hopes of triggering the lock. Unfortunately, this made the experience more tedious than fun. We wouldn't recommend this room unless the company improves its puzzle mechanics.

It's off of either 70 or Route 40, but it's an easy drive coming from most directions, as long as you don't hit any traffic. It was a great experience from beginning to the end, even with temps in the high 90s! The course is beautifully maintained, with some challenging fairways and the greens were fast today. The staff was friendly and check-in was quick. The clubhouse is pretty huge and has the gigantic windows that overlook the course. The cart lady was very nice and checked in on us a few times throughout our outing I can't say anything about the pace of place because we were out there on a weekday, during a heat wave, so there weren't a lot of other golfers. From what I've been told, the weekdays aren't usually that busy and definitely cheaper than other courses in the area, which is crazy. The only reason for giving it 4 stars is because maintenance was out the day we were and they were on quite a few fairways the same time we were so they seemed annoyed that we were in their way and sometimes we had to wait for them to clear out. This may have been a one off so when I go back, I'll update my review.

To add, if you want to use a tee you'll probably need to put a hammer in your bag just to get it in the ground. The greens are poorly maintained, even the fairways, half the time you're hitting off of dirt. If you like dirt trails, hiking them, not actively golfing off them, it's probably a nice place for a free leisurely walk. Additionally, noting on all that I said, it's $35 to play 18 with a cart. Take $35, multiplied by everyone that plays daily, and none of that money is being contributed to improving the course. Overall, I've played at municipal courses that are 100x better AND cheaper, so, I'm not sure what their net sales are going towards but, it's not to make the business/course any better. PS. The service is really bad too. On top of all of this, rude employees, and... AND, we were first in line to get a cart, but, apparently 2 groups magically appeared out of the dirt, and we had to wait even longer just to get started because they "were there before us" when... they were not.

The tee boxes were dirt and clumps of crabgrass; the traps were hard packed; the mowing hadn't be kept up (yes it had rained Thursday and Friday); and fairways had bald areas and crab grass. We never saw an employee on the course....no marshal, cart or maintenance staff. For $78, I thought it was overpriced and I could play a better course in Montgomery County for nearly half. I've heard it was a good course, but right now, I'd have to give it a "C" at best.

As for the other component of the game - the food, we had burgers, fries, ice cream, burnt end sausages, Hot and plan nuts, beer, soda, plain dogs and bottle water. Everything was fresh, quick to be given to us when ordered and tasted delicious. We did stay away from the crab cake sandwiches as we witnessed and saw that the chicken was heavily overcooked and the crab cake topping was scant at best. During a previous visit my friend took his back and asked for a plain grilled chicken which was obviously cooked in advanced and hot held of 140 degrees till it was drier than the Sahara desert. Sticking to the visitor side of the concession areas offers a better selection and price point for what is offered and served up. Will try the chicken again at a later time, but it was way over priced for small dry piece of chicken with crab spread that was too runny and hidden inside a much larger bun. Parking was excellent, right near the field with plenty of signage showing where to park and enter the ball-field. Clean location with clean bathrooms too, and polite security and police enforcement at each gate. Looking forward to catching another game!
