My family was invited to a birthday party and I am giving 5 stars because of my experience. First the parking lot was easy to find a spot and I was able to drop off my kids in front of the facility. When I walked in the facility, I went straight to the birthday party room #2 and the host was helpful and organized. Also the pizza they served for the party was amazing. The cheese, pepperoni, and supreme pizza was excellent. My kids had a good time with Laser Tag and the arcades gave me a 90s vibe where all the kids were running and loud which is enjoyable to see. Overall, my visit was enjoyable and I did not have a single issue. The bathroom was clean as well which is always a plus. read more

We arrived a few hours before closing but all the bar tables / stools were already put up as if they were closed. This was a Saturday night btw. There was also an employee already mopping the floors as well. However the bar was still open and the bartender attended us. We didn't order food so can't comment on that. We had a ton of fun today and would definitely go back! We went on Saturday morning for pins and pancakes. It was $18pp; a really good value for unlimited bowling 9-noon, including shoes and pancakes. Lanes are nice, with couch seating and wood tables. They brought out pancakes plates for each of us, 3 pancakes each. We ordered 2 coffee, one order bacon and 2 orders of eggs to fill out our breakfast. That was less than $20, including tip. I was pleasantly surprised the food was pretty good and service was fast and friendly. We ate and bowled 3 games. Afterwards, we bought an arcade game card, using a Yelp deal of $25 for $50 voucher. We played a ton of games and earned enough tickets for several prizes, including Pokémon cards and full size candy. We left happy and exhausted. read more

I love the atmosphere of Fort dimension fun center. In the past few weeks we have been there multiple times for bowling and gaming. I've also just gone just to eat in the past at the bar and the bar staff is always on point. There are many activities to participate in throughout the week and they even offer different things for children doing well in school. The food is pretty good. Would have been a great experience if not for thr bartender who worked during the evening of Sunday 10/26/25. I dont have a name for him but he had a shaved head with dark facial hair. I got the family pass and brought my son, who is autistic, and a few family friends. When I brought the children to get their drinks, he was very nasty; every other word was accompanied with an eyeroll; apparently service with a smile was too much for him. He insisted we show him a reciept even though the children had their passcards on them.; he would not serve them without the reciept.. My friends and I came here on a busy Friday to celebrate a bday. Just imagine a D and B, but with the traditional bowling alley, pool, laser tag and VR rides. The drinks here are great. They have cocktails and beer towers. For the appetizers we ordered the crab dip, pretzel sticks, nachos and the mozzarella sticks. The pizzas here are a no joke and were really good. Definitely recommend ordering the margheritt, papagiorgio and the Mia were delicious. Service here was great. Our server was really attentive by the dining area. When we moved over to the bowling area our food and drinks came out really quickly. The location itself is very clean. Bowling alley seats and dining area were spotless even with a busy crowd. They offer different specials for games and other activities so don't forget to ask or check in via Yelp for an hour of free games. Ok I have been to this location like 4 times, and every time is so good. There is bowling, arcade, escape rooms, laser tag, and fire food. Today we did the escape room, "shafted" and it was very good but not TOO difficult, but the last one we did was the submarine one, and it was all mess up, so the workers gave us a FREE one because of it. Went there for a family fun weekend. We started with arcade games while waited for our bowling lane to open. Since we didn't have a reservation for Bowling, so had to put our names down after the lunch rush To Wait for an open lane. The wait was not bad at all, since we had various games to entertain us, time flew by. We didn't eat anything that day, so I cannot review all the food. We had a party today at 4Dimensions for the first time. Although the birthday girl had a blast because all her friends came to celebrate her special day...we did not enjoy our time there at all. The party room.....or should I say the HOT party room. [We had several issues in the party room but the major issue was that it was HOT as, hell in there. Why are we paying for a service inside, and it feels like we are outside. If I knew I was going to be sweating, I would have held the party in my backyard!!! We paid to have a party for our kid in an air-conditioned building, and that did not happen. I had to prop the door open as we were in a sweat BOX!! The party hosts we're missing in action several times. We didn't have enough plates, needed silverware and the game cards, along with the party bags. I had to serve pizza because they we're missing in action, and some kids wanted pizza. I had to go out to find the host for the party bags and ask questions about things because the host was incognito, as they kept leaving the room for long periods of time. No one was stationary for the party. The kids became extremely restless because things were not happening like clockwork.  They began to exercise as they took off running around the room playing chase.‍I had to find the host to get laser tag going, or we would have had another issue in the party room. Someone would have gotten hurt as the kids began to play around with each other. I have had several parties at many game places and never had this type of service. Not one host  ask if there was anything we needed during the party.  They just kept disappearing and  then reappearing. They ran out of plates and came in with glass plates for kids. After the party I spoke to the party mgr megan. I informed her of all these issues!!! In short the party room was not ready as there were not silverware in the room and not enough plates for cake. Megan was aware of the room being HOT and informed me that the next room was  hotter. They were burning up!! I told her it was HOT as hell in that room. She just said she would  tell the owner. It was very disappointing to say the least!!  Then you charge auto gratitude without informing the customer. This information should be told to the customer when they are booking their party.  NO, it is not listed on the receipt, cora.  You said, it is listed at the bottom of the receipts. It was not listed at the bottom of mine NOR was  it on my invoice!! We won't be having a party here anymore.   When you have issues in your  building you should always inform your customers. There is NO reason that customers who save  their money up to have a nice party for their child have to deal with sweating in an air-conditioned  building. Their kid should not be complaining about being HOT on their special day!! read more

Would NOT recommend. The gaming area is very small compared to their "Competitors" such as Dave & Busters and Main Event. The drink options at the bar are limited. I asked what wine they had and was told rosé, sangria and Prosecco. No Merlot, no Pinot Grigio, nothing. We ordered chips with salsa and guacamole. The chips were so salty you couldn't even eat them. When we complained to management, we were told there was nothing to do as it came from a distributor. Maybe find a new distributor ijs. We also ordered the pretzels with cheese sauce. The cheese sauce was so thin it didn't even stick to the pretzel. There was also a bunch of black looking "beads" in the sauce. We asked management what it was and we told peppercorn. Not sure why whole peppercorn was in the cheese sauce. We ended up not eating any of the food. Instead of being compensated for the food issues. We were simply given a voucher for $10 off our next play. We have ZERO intention of returning so the voucher was an insult. read more

Initially, I was going to message them directly about my concern. After reading the other reviews about this place, I figure that it is probably not worth it. My son and I went there last week. We had a blast. We enjoy the games, XR ride, and shooting pool. Afterwards, we decided to get something to eat. The restaurant area is self-seating. The staff looked exhausted. No one ever came to my table. 15 minutes later, I decided to order from the bar and was still charged the 18% gratuity. I paid for my food at the bar. I took my drinks to the table and waited for the food. It took about 15 minutes. By that time, my son had finished his drink. No one asked if he wanted a refill. It was just disappointing. In the past, I use to love their food. I get the need for an 18% tip, but if I'm NOT being served, what's the point? Nevertheless, we will continue to go back to play the games. read more

Fourth Dimension Fun Center is a great place for families and large groups for lots of fun. There's a large arcade, laser tag, escape room, a bowling alley, pool tables and shuffle board. It's located in a new commercial area. There's even a large bar and an extensive menu that includes appetizers, fire wood pizzas, sandwiches and burgers. The food is actually decent. We ordered a couple of pizzas--the Santino, which an all meat pizza with pepperoni, salami, italian sausage, bacon and Canadian bacon. Then we also ordered the Toretto, which has pepperoni, sausage, bacon, red bell peppers, mushrooms, red onions and black olives. Both pizzas were surprisingly good. For appetizers we ordered the Maryland plate loaded with tater tots and crab dip. It was very good and would recommend and order it again. Our family enjoyed our afternoon with a game of bowing with the kids and an hour of free arcade games. My review for the entertainment, service and ambiance is a 4/5. My review for food is a 2/5. We always have a great time when we visit 4D, although like any arcade, the cost does add up the longer you're there. My main reason for reviewing is for the food. We've eaten dinner at 4D twice and both times the food was not good. During our latest visit the side caesar salad and tater tots were good. I ordered a Nashville hot chicken wrap and it was just weird. Maybe it would have been better as a sandwich. My husband ordered a pizza burger and it had zero flavor. The patty didn't seem to be seasoned at all. Unfortunately I can't remember what we ate during our last visit but I recall hubby not eating what he ordered and just overall being unimpressed with the food. What a fun place to take the kids for bowling! We went yesterday for the very first time and not only is it already reasonable during the week, but we also got the kids play free summer promotion and I got the adult pass to play too. We also ordered pizza and wings and they were great. Service was spectacular. All around it's clean, the staff is top notch nice and professional, food is really good and bowling is fun. They have rides cute Dino bowling things to help the ball go straight for the "kids" who need it plus bumpers too. Super fun. read more

Lost a star for location and weak WiFi This places is pretty dope for locals or those who plan a day trip to the area or nearby. We love 45mins away so we made the best of the trip with this being our first stop. Monday thru Thursday they have $25 unlimited play which gives you access to Laser Tag, Laser Frenzy, Escape Room, and 3D Virtual game options!!! All for $25 bucks!!! Only draw back is you don't earn tickets.. so if you have a competitive mind this ain't the deal for you.. It's mind-boggling. Definitely no magic shrooms before going. It's the Wild West. Bowling, pool tables, enormous Arcade and machines, Escape Rooms, Laser Tag, everything but a walk on the freaking Moon. Something like over 20 types of IPAs, with high-test alcohol contents. Food, is actually not real expensive, and you can tell, it's quality food. Not crap. Fire-brick oven for pizzas. Custom cocktails. We had so much fun celebrating a friend's birthday last night. We did everything including eat. The food was good eventhough the tots & onion rings were over cooked. Everything was clean. Good parking. Very nice staff. Robert was a goid waiter. The only issue is that the bathroom was at the end of the building. We recently had my son's birthday party at 4th Dimension Fun Center in Frederick. For his 10th birthday we wanted to do something special. The idea of wowing him and his friends without us having to do all the work was quite appealing. So much so, that we were willing to dole out the $642 - which includes a required 18% gratuity. It started okay. The greeting staff was pleasant. We were assigned two hosts and escorted to our party room. From here it's mostly downhill. The room was uncomfortably warm and stuffy. Our party hosts were illusive; we had to track them down several times. We soon learned that the two hosts were juggling 3 large parties without help. The plan was: 1:30 Laser-tag 2pm Pizza in the party room 3pm Laser-tag Arcade time using pre-purchased cards The host told us that laser-tag had technical problems and would be another 10 minutes, and to wait in the room. It took 20 minutes, but the game went well, and the kids had fun. Phew. When we returned to the room around 2:15, the pizza was already there. It was undercooked, cold, and soaked with garlic. The kids were hungry and ate a little pizza with some complaint. We assume nobody told the kitchen about the laser-tag delay. Time for bathroom breaks! Nope, sorry. ALL the bathrooms are out of order! The staff suggested we use the facilities at the nearby McDonald's! My wife convinced the host to let the kids use the staff bathroom. She rounded them up for their one chance to pee before the next round of laser-tag. Now it gets worse. Our host told us that our 2nd laser-tag round was also delayed. We let the kids have their arcade cards, so they didn't have to sit in the room again with nothing to do. The cards didn't last long, and my wife used the backup cards she purchased separately to help keep the kids occupied. My wife sought out the host 3 more times for an update on the next laser-tag round. Each time the host confusedly stated that she'd get them in at some point. Meanwhile, other groups were getting to play while we waited. During the wait, other employees came into the room and started cleaning it out. They told us we needed to vacate the room. Before we could even get everything moved to a table out front, they already had the next party coming in. With someone watching our guest's belongings at the table, my wife tracked down the host for the 4th time about laser-tag. This time the host said that she could get them in around 4:15 - 4:30, another 45 minutes to an hour wait! My wife reiterated how many times our party had been bumped and that we were already at the end of our allotted time. The host offered to merge us with another party. As we lined up for the match, we learned that the host had been confusing us with another party - which may explain why our kids kept getting ignored. Now even worse... The other party she merged us with was aggressive and loud. They were breaking rules in the arena, running, and swearing. The employees were unable to rein in the unruly kids. During the game, one of my son's friends was punched in the head and quickly left with his parent. One child tripped my son and shot him while he was on the ground, then said, "Thanks for the win ugly white person." Seriously? After laser-tag, my son said, "This is the worst birthday ever." My wife asked a passing employee to speak with a manager. The young lady said she was a manager and after my wife explained what transpired, she handed her off to another manager. This manager was very pleasant and professional. He seemed genuinely concerned and thanked my wife for being level-headed - he admitted he doubted he'd be so calm under the circumstances. This manager also apologized to my son. It seemed like we might find some resolution. However, he admitted there was nothing he could do! He handed my wife the operation manager's business card and asked we call her on Wednesday. My wife called on Wednesday and was told the operations manager had already left and to try again tomorrow before 6pm. We called back on Thursday as requested. My wife was told the operations manager wasn't available and the employee took a message for a return call. I'm sure you can guess what happened. Friday, late afternoon, no return call. Another call to the operations manager, and we're told that she's not available AND WILL BE TAKING A LEAVE OF ABSENCE! Additionally, we were told that if the operations manager didn't return the call within the next two days that we should call back and some other manager would assist. Huh? At that point we gave up. Nobody is going to call us back. The only thing we can do at this point is post this review to try and save another kid from having the worst birthday ever. read more

Came here for a kids birthday party and got an hour of free arcade time with the check in! Good drinks and lots of fun. We told everyone about the free play and the kids got arcade time in addition to the bowling and laser tag. I didn't even know about this place prior to today and I was not disappointed. Went there today for bowling. Plus - servers came to bowling area and weren't too slow. Also, old fashioned's were some of the best I've ever had. Kudos to the bartender for that. Downsides... the alley. Half the bowling balls were cracked and borderline unusable. I know they're plastic, but they shouldn't be that bad. Also the lanes/mechanics. I got a gutter ball from not even throwing the ball because there were too many balls stuck in the back of the lane. Several times, we had to stop bowling because several (3-4) of our balls were getting stuck and we had nothing to bowl with. Then when we asked for more time to accommodate since we had a 2 hour limit, it screwed our games up even more. I would probably go back to check out the arcade, but not for the bowling. read more

My boyfriend and I came here on a Friday night. It was packed but him and I were pretty understanding because we both used to work as servers. We ended up going to the bar and upon waiting 15 minutes, we finally were asked what we would like to drink from the bartenders. After that, we barely were talked to for the rest of our dining experience. The bartenders were more interested at the other end of the bar than us. Even the people next to us sat for 15-20 minutes with empty drinks and dirty plates. When they left and another party sat down in the same spot, I leaned over and told them, "don't expect any service for awhile". I will admit, the food was phenomenal but that was the only good thing about this place. Except the fact that my wrap came out on burger buns??? Still was good but that was confusing. The drinks we got were watered down and tasted like juice. We would have complained to get them replaced but the bartenders were too busy on the other end of the bar entertaining their other customers. The bartenders even told us, "oh yeah we aren't really that busy". Then why did we barely get any service? Ridiculous. To be honest though, if I was already getting an automatic 18% gratuity, I don't think I would be that great of a bartender either. But still, I always tip on top of gratuity but that was not the case for them. If anything I think the gratuity was more than deserved. The arcade was cute however a lot of the games didn't work. Completely unorganized. BAD: Food: - To start their water does not taste like water it has a HORRIBLE TASTE. It wasn't just tap water, it was worse. We switched to Coke and they brought us Diet Coke! Finally we got regular coke about 30min from the time we originally ordered drinks. - We ordered nachos and waited maybe 40min for them to come out cold, with the cheese hardened and then less than 5 minutes later our main entrees come out. - We were rarely checked on. - Table was never cleared, our plates stacked up. - We had to go up to the bar by ourselves to get drink refills because our server was rare to be found. Bowling: - We signed up for 8 people and they said an hour wait, 15 min in our buzzer goes off and they say they accidentally gave the same # to multiple people. UNORGANIZED! - Hour in our buzzer goes again and they tell us they have 1 lane for our group of 8! Are you kidding me at this point, 8 people on one lane will not finish in 1 hour. So we have to wait even longer for a second lane. - We paid for shoe rentals and they handed my boyfriend 2 right shoes! How completely pathetic!
