I have been going to Turner Falls with family since I was a kid and now I take my family as an adult. We cherish our time there. We recently stayed during a storm and got rained in! The exit was flooded and the staff did the best they could making sure we were taken care of. Thanks so much!

Don't waste your time and money here, rude employees punching on windows for parking to pick up stuff.

The line to get in on a Saturday is ridiculous! I would recommend going during the week.

Ask the Community - Turner Falls Park

Do you need to buy a ticket for the park AND buy a parking pass? (the website is super unclear on that). Thanks.

    Yes. Admission doesn't include parking.

    Are dogs allowed?

    Dogs are not allowed.

Do you have to pay a park admission just to hike?

Yes. You have to pay to enter the park regardless of whether you just hike, swim, fish, etc.

    Are dog allow there?

According to their ticket terms and conditions: no pets are allowed in the park

Does any one know if we have to make reservations before we get there or can we pay at the door?

You don't have to make a reservation online, but it's recommend because they do get sold out quickly.

Do all kids need to have a life jacket? I have a ten year old who is a good swimmer and wondered if she would need one.

ALL CHILDREN 12 AND UNDER MUST WEAR A COAST GUARD APPROVED FLOTATION DEVICE. NO EXCEPTIONS! THIS IS FOR YOUR CHILDREN'S SAFETY! TURNER FALLS DOES NOT RENT OR PROVIDE FLOTATION DEVICES. WATER DEPTHS VARY GREATLY IN DIFFERENT AREAS OF THE PARK SO…

How far away from the campsites can you park your car? Can you park at your campsite? Are there fire rings at each campsite? What about picnic tables?

Where are the restrooms in turner falls?

Sites were well maintained, level and sturdily bordered. You have neighbors, but you are spread out and not up in each other's business. We had a very relaxing stay! No showers and the toilets are the pit kind, but must have been recently serviced because they weren't stinky and the bathrooms were well maintained. Short drive to the lake.

Location wise it can get a little confusing. There are several campgrounds spread throughout. I stayed at the campground The Point. It was was small but relatively well-organized, and far away from everything to be peaceful and close enough that we weren't far away from exploring the local town as well. The point also let's you have pets stay. We took our two dogs who seemed to thoughtless enjoyed being out with us. Each plot on The Point is reservable Online, or self-serve pay station. I would say to reserve, as the weekend on a non-holiday it was completely full. There are plots that have water and electric hook-ups. The plot we were on had none, but was the cheapest at $16 a night. Each plot also comes with its own personal parking spot. Our's had a fire. Pit and a bench with an extension. At the Point there are a few non-plumbed facilities as well as one facility with plumbing and showers. Each bathroom of the plumber facilities has its own shower, plus a section of just a single shower with no bathroom. There are plenty of spots to go. Fishing areas are at each of the campgrounds. In addition, there are boat drop off areas, and places to swim in the lake. Unfortunately, no pets are not allowed in the lake or east of Travertine area which is in the northeastern section of the park. In the end, it was a fun and simple time, and will be planning my trips here on a monthly basis b
