The office area had no lights on except for the reception desk. I had the first appointment of the day, I was kept waiting for 20 min. When she finally made her way in, she was rude. I explained why I was there. She never examined the problem area. She ended up burning scar tissue which I explained was a mole that was removed two years ago and just scar tissue. She never wore gloves, which I found disgusting. Her attitude was terrible. Everything I asked she responded with "I don't know, I'm not sure". She burned multiple marks on me but never said what they were or gave any follow up. The next day I woke up with awful blisters. I reached out to my NYC derma, who was horrified. He asked what the diagnosis was for her to do that. And said they should look like that. Needless to say it took 4 days to get a call back. They never gave me the info of what she actually did. The office manager said she would refund the co pay if I didn't write a review. Well it's been a month. I have 6 burn scars and just received a bill from my insurance company for what is listed as "surgery". I have called the location several times with no call back. Save your time and your money, this is not a professional establishment.

My rule of thumb is depending on how involved your visit 45-60 mins from time you enter to time you leave is acceptable. Saw Dr Stephanie Llanos; fairly young but pleasant personality & didnt rush the appt, explained everything. Only small glitch was 2nd visit this year the European woman said my insurance was rejected even though it's the same insurance w/no changes so i asked her to recheck & it did go thru the 2nd time so maybe a bit careless with entering info so in case that happens you ask her to double check. Will continue to frequent this office.

First removal vist the receptionist wanted minimally half the cost so I paid $ 183.00...I had a total of 5 removals over the course of 4 1/2 weeks...I paid them another $ 183.00 on the day of the 5th removal.....at the end of that week I was scheduled to have the 6th removed and when I got their the receptionist said I had to pay them $ 759.00 because I had not met my deductible yet..I told her that was impossible to do and she said ok you can pay half which would be $ 375.00..which was still impossible as I just paid them &183.00 4 days prior..I said I could pay her $ 50 that was no good enough so she called the office Manager named Candace who told me I had to pay the amount or had the option of leaving my credit card ( which meant they would charge it anyway )..Again said I could not this week...not good enough so she told me she would cancel the appointment saying I declined service......Next thing I knew the receptionist told me my appointment was cancelled and the doctor was seeing other patients..It was more important they get their hundreds of dollars up front then my medical care....unbelievable....I am 51 years old and all my doctors are in union...I pay my bills and have never experienced such harassment by a doctors office to decline treatment for a scheduled procedure....such a shame because the Dr. Kanani is a true smart professional but I need to find a more caring practice as a whole....very sad!!!

The location is close to the Parkway and has plenty of parking. The staff is very organized, and my appointment took place on time.
