I really enjoyed the bartenders at this place. We can for some afternoon drinks and some tacos but stayed to hang out and ended up chatting it up with the bartenders. The tacos connected to Turner's was really good. Esp with there being the pick up window in the establishment. This place seemed like a hot spot happy hour place and highly recommend coming with friends.

I went for BINGO night, and it was pretty fun! It was kinda hard to hear the numbers, but our bar neighbors repeated it to us. lol I can't wait to go ago!

First visit and now a huge fan of Turner's! Great drink selections with local pours, $1 hot dogs with the purchase of a drink, the friendliest bartenders in Indy, and free pool / tabletop games. It gives that new dive bar feel that will only get better with age.

Turner's is a bar located in the old Stutz manufacturing facility downtown Indy and each time I have been there the bartender and staff have been so friendly. This time we ordered tacos from Julieta's Taco Shop next door and told them we were going to Turner's next door and they said go ahead on over and there is a pass through to the bar to give us our food and we could eat in the bar. That was pretty awesome. Sometimes in decent weather the big overhead garage door is open near the pool table for a nice view and breeze. Small cocktail menu but I have liked the drinks I have had here. I will definitely be coming back here on my next trip to the Stutz building which by the way is stunning. There is also the Stutz museum just steps away and Amelia's bakery. Worth the trip here.

I recently discovered a new-to-me artist, IG: keith_beatty , he reposted that he'd be playing at Turner's... I got a few friends together for the event and we discovered Turner's in the process. This is a great venue! The ambience is laidback, industrial, with eclectic vintage vibes. For those of you who like comparisons, it gives Hotel Tango meets Hard Truth with a twist. There's a sunken, pool table area, cozy couch nook, bar seating, locker room style picnic table bench seating(this is were the artist/entertainment is set up) and high-tops in the bar area... lots of seating options to accommodate all comfort levels. I tend to ver away from bars because of the drink selections. Typical bars offer hard liquor, beer, no cocktail menu but offer to make you anything as long as you can tell them how(insert eye roll :D )... Turner's has an extensive cocktail menu and they're GOOD! They also have an onsite kitchen. My friends and I did not eat here but were told by others that the tacos were REALLY good. *edit: correction* The tacos were made by the business next door, Julieta Taco Shop, they take orders via a window on their shared wall with Turner's. This is REALLY cool! Love the innovative collaboration between these businesses! Turners is also only a block from my downtown office, making it perfect for a HaPpY Hour meet up, I will definitely be back! One important design aspect to note is that the restrooms are not in Turner's, you exist Turner's to the outdoor foyer type area and they are along the right side. I circled the restroom signage in one of my photos. It was well lit, I didn't get sketchy vibes the Friday evening I was there, but definitely something to make a mental note of.

Fantastic place and such a great addition to the north downtown area! When you walk in it feels very warm and welcoming. Music is playing not overly loud so you can actually hear the person talking that you are with. They have tons of seating, couches, bar, booths and tables. Take your pick. The cool thing is they also have a person cooking hot dogs and hamburgers on site by the garage door so you can smell it as soon as you walk in. It makes you want one. Those are the inky zero things on their menu but you can order chips at the bar if you want something else. The person cooking came up to me and my friend and asked if we wanted something, and it made it right there and brought it to us. They have a condiment station for you to dress up your burger or hotdogs if you want. The y have a good amount of liquor choices that isn't over priced. My drink was just $8! They also provided free nuts which is an excellent touch. Several different people came to check on us throughout our visit making sure we were good which was nice. They have a garage door that is open so you can see the outside while drinking and eating. Such a great place and this will be my regular spot moving forward!

Another Sahm gem. Turner's gives you all the Friends vibes, where everyone knows your name. It's a great spot for an affordable drink. They don't have local spirits which is a bummer but they do have local beer and cider. They have $1 hotdogs for my carnivore friends and cheap chips that aren't healthy for you at all but will cure your evening munchies. The cocktails are superior though and if only they had some local whiskey for them they'd make my top 5 old-fashioned list. But they do have good ice cubes and good bourbon cherries. Plus if you get here before 8 you can order from Julietta's taco shop next door. They often have live music or trivia, there's pool and other card games to play. It is a bit chilly in here during the winter with little soft surfaces so bring a cozy sweater. Summer is wonderful as the garage doors open wide.

This is a laid back dive bar with excellent service. My friend and I popped in here for a drink after shopping the winter market. The bartender was friendly and helpful and I was also introduced to a new sparkling water drink. I'm not in this area much but if I were I'd definitely go here often. It's also nice that you can order tacos from Juliet's taco shop from a little window in the bar.

A distinct tasting Old Fashioned, which isn't common. I appreciate it. Nice atmosphere; relaxed. Bartenders weren't the most social bunch but not rude. Cool setup within the Stutz building.

Love Turner's. They offer seasonal themed drinks as well as their regular delicious concoctions. You can order tacos next door and get a cocktail here to enjoy with your dinner. If you order a drink, you can get a hotdog for a dollar! They offer some really unique beverages too - a couple even include an egg white. The presentation is always pleasing - notice the beautiful orchid. Very enjoyable here.

The pizza is kind of small though. It will fill two people or one person if you have portion control issues. They serve Narrow Gauge draft beer out of the St. Louis area and it is dynamite....a little pricey though. They had a barrel aged stout called Duality on draft and it was GREAT - one of the best beers that I've ever had and I don't usually like stouts. You can order cans or bottles of some of the beer to go. The bartender did an A+ job and she was delightful. I could have talked to her all day. There were five other people at the bar and all of these strangers just started talking to each other and becoming friends. It was pretty cool.

Good Pizza and Craft Beer at a Small Indianapolis Taproom…read more Across from Goose the Market at the corner of Delaware and 25th, this spot is one of those places you're happy you found and want to tell your friends about. The vibe is relaxed with music piped through, and a couple TVs in case you want to watch sports or a movie while sipping your beer. The food is legit, and the tap list delivers. Let's start with the pizza. They've got all the classics--cheese, pepperoni, sausage, veggie, BBQ chicken, buffalo--but the creative pies are where this place really shines. The brisket pizza with Alabama white sauce is interestingly good, and the pepperoni, basil, pesto, ricotta, hot honey pizza is next-level amazing. The house-made dough is dialed in and ties everything together beautifully. Pair that with a draft beer and you're set. The taproom regularly pours a good lineup from Narrow Gauge Brewing Company--IPAs, stouts, lagers, plus at least one fruity sour. Personal favorites include Atlantic (an English-style barleywine) and Galaphobia (milk stout), but you can't go wrong with a DDH IPA, Lining the Walls Hefeweizen, or the flagship OJ Run. Not in a pizza mood? The giant pub pretzels with beer cheese and mustard are perfect for sharing (or not ). Or grab an order of house-made breadsticks with garlic butter or homemade marinara for dipping. We've gone a few times and most recently during their Darkest Beer Days event. And it did not disappoint--an awesome way to celebrate the Winter Solstice with great dark beers and guest taps. I appreciate that they highlight not only Narrow Gauge, but also other Midwest breweries like Streetside Brewing, Butchertown Brewing, Maplewood Brewery & Distillery, and Transient Artisan Ales at this special event. Bonus points: the owner shared that they'll close the taproom for private group events, and if your crew likes pinball, there are a few machines to keep things fun between pours. Definitely worth considering! Fantastic food, great beer, creative events, and a nice atmosphere--this place is an absolute win. We'll keep coming back (and bringing friends) and hope to see this place do more events in the future.

Recently visited Fowling Warehouse for a work team building event. I had no idea what to expect…read more Parking was a bit of a mystery. There was a sign in front of the business pointing you to turn down a steer for parking; next block there is a huge parking lot but no signs saying you can park there for fowling, BUT, it was abundantly marked that cars will be towed. Since there was nothing else around, I assumed it was the right place and parked. Of course I briskly walked to fowling to inquire if I was in the correct space. I was, whew. Those towers can really work fast. Fowling is in a warehouse with other businesses, hence the name. It is huge. We were on lane 32, I believe so there's at least 32 lanes. There is also a corn hole area. There is a bar where they have a decent variety of adult beverages. I went with 3 Floyd's warpig, a hazy ipa. It was really good. The important aspect of fowling is not eating or drinking there, but to interact with the people your with. Sure you can win a game, but the fun is the game itself and the camaraderie with a drink. Our leader looked up the rules prior and explained them. You take turns throwing a football at bowling pins, one set of pins on each end of the lane. There are two lines to throw from, our group guys threw from back and women from front. I watched a group next to us, both men and women threw from front line, it didn't appear to give anyone an advantage. I don't know if the pizza place is part of fowling or a separate business, but we got pizza from Bonk Pizza. It was ok, it was enough to say we were fed. I'm glad I did this and would go again.

Fowling (noun) fowl-ing: The hunting or trapping of wildfowl…read more Google "fowling definition" and this is what you'll find. Google simply "fowling" and you learn about this odd sport where you combine football and bowling. Just now. Right NOW as I'm writing this, the word fowling finally made (sort of) sense. Football + bowling = fowling. Now I'm even pronouncing the word different with a long "o" sound versus the "ou" diphthong. I had to Google that, too, but once I saw diphthong, I knew it was going in my review. You're welcome for the 5th grade grammar lesson. Please redeem your Pizza Hut personal pan pizza for your hard work. Ok, fowling. It has nothing to do with trapping birds or teaching birds of prey to land on your arm (that's falconry). Nope, it's a game you play with friends and beer. The setup is more like cornhole, but you use bowling pins and throw, that's right, a football. Someone was clearly drunk when this game was invented. But what a great way to bring a group of people together! The Fowling Warehouse specializes in the game of fowling, but has several other activities to enjoy as a group: pool, darts, a few arcade games and a golf simulator. I may go back just for the golf simulator. This is the real deal, a full Trackman set up. It was pretty sweet. Those simulators can be a little intimidating at the PGA Superstore, but it's tucked away in the corner at the Fowling Warehouse where you can shank balls and not feel like a fool. Mostly. There are also two bars and you can order pizza and boneless wings. The bar has a nice selection of beers on tap. They use the magnet cup system where the cup fills from the bottom. My favorite thing was seeing multiple signs on the bar that warn you that if you push the bottom of the cup, you will get wet! And I smiled devilishly thinking about curious people testing their luck with the cups and losing every time. For me, I enjoyed a couple glasses of this blood orange IPA. Delicious and refreshing. The Fowling Warehouse isn't exactly my jam, but I think it's the kind of place that is perfect for a certain crowd who enjoys games and likes a new challenge. And they can handle a large party! If you are looking to try a new sport that feels like it was invented by someone who lost a bet, this place is for you! I kid, but the Warehouse is nice and clean and large! The service was good and everyone seemed to have a great time. Seems like a pretty good spot for your next party if games are your thing! Please note: No birds were injured during the writing of this review.

Keagan Fife (Manager) - A team player, receptive to feedback and conscientious. We had a issue while there and he was able to step in and problem solve with me and come up with a solution that really won us over. We had a moment where it was feeling a bit "why did we come here" but his customer service exceeded expectation. That's good management. (He's the gentleman in the video below.) Let's get the negative out the way 1st. The first waitress asked if we wanted anything to drink. I told her we hadn't received menus. She came back sat them down and walked away. We never saw her again. A new waitress came and she seemed pleasant enough. Once we were all seated she began to take our orders. She made a point to say she needed to write it all down or she was get it mixed up. She then did not write anything down. Our food came out extremely slow but that wasn't a huge deal because we all were mingling. A lot of her team had to step in and deliver our food, give drinks, check on us etc. She was pretty non existent. Two of the ladies never received food. This was after we had been there for 2 hours and everyone else had received their items. At the end when we asked for our check they were all mixed up and confused. The waitress then blamed us for adding things and moving around. We never moved once and she only came around the one time when she originally took our orders. We never got a chance to add things. (it was quite comical that she tried to say that) I ended up asking for manager because she seemed overwhelmed and a bit bias about our group. Assuming that we wouldn't want one check and splitting them because she figured we would want it that way and then blaming us because she did it when we never asked for split. There rule is parties over 8 have to have 1 bill and we never asked for an exception. There was just her assumption that a group of black women wouldn't want to do that. (I digress) There were a few more things but I will end it there. That was the big negative. Now the positive!!! Ambiance 10/10 - great views, great music, great location, umbrellas on roof were great although a but wobbly and scary. Also, they come around with complimentary sunglasses while dining. I thought this was a nice and luxurious touch! Food 8/10 - most food received was delicious Service 9/10 - everyone except for our server was great! Everyone who pitched in to help was awesome! Ended up tipping a different server who basically helped us the whole time. Bless his heart because I know he was super busy. As stated above management handle the situation well. I would definitely go back! I try to give people a chance. I think our server may have been overwhelmed and had a past experience that left her bias against our group but hopefully she can grow and get better. Her actions don't reflect the restaurant as a whole! Go and enjoy the vibes and views!
