I called on Friday, May 7th at 3:30 PM jokingly asking if they could squeeze me in that evening. They couldn't but they did fit me in with Jessie on Saturday May 8th. I was ecstatic, I hadn't had a hair cut since June 2019. I arrived about 5 minutes before appointment. I was greeted warmly and Jessie brought me back just 2 minutes after my scheduled time and actually apologized for keeping me waiting. She discussed what I wanted and she conveyed to me in words all the things I was thinking and she proceeded to give me one of the best haircuts I have ever had. I am so grateful. Immediately scheduled my next appointment with her. I usually feel very uncomfortable at "salons" but I felt welcomed and comfortable here. So glad I called, so glad to find Jessie! Omg!! So. My hair is naturally super ultra fine, and a strawberry blonde. For whatever reason my hair does not take coloring like normal peoples hair. They always have to add more of the developer or something else I'm not quite sure the different chemicals. Needless to say every time I try to do it myself or go somewhere new, it ends horribly because the stylist thinks I'm full of it and they know better, only for the color (blonde) not to take. I have NEVER had a bad experience with this salon! EVER!! Monique, is by far the most professional, outgoing, understanding, and all around best stylist I've ever used. Im not one to write reviews but this place needs to be known for being racist. Made an appointment for a simple trim and bangs. Didn't even get to see the stylist, front desk simply said "I'm sorry we don't have someone to work with your ethnic hair" I said um I just want a trim, she said "sorry but she just doesn't want to work with you. There's a place down 41 that works with African American" First of all, I'm not African American. I am biracial Cuban with dark skin. My hair is as curly as it comes and currently has a relaxer. I'll review on the two aspects of this salon that made it shine. The receptionist/scheduler was amazing. She helped move appointments around and get me in at the last minute which was beyond my expectations. She made the experience so flexible and I felt so welcome. Lauren was able to get me in for a last-minute appointment and she really did a great job with my color and my expectations. Some of the processes I had not experienced before and she talked me through every step of the way and was happy to answer so many of my hair questions. She's a great girl! I truly didn't have time to get all the work done that I wanted so next time I will have to come in for an extended session. She gave me an updated look and I'm so happy with it!. My sister just got back from the salon with a foot missing from her hair. She asked for 5". There was many things wrong from the start but instead of offering to reschedule it they had two different people take over. She then left in tears after they cut it all off and she sent home calmed herself down called them back up. Instead of giving a refund or offering to try and fix it, Liz on the phone simply said that it might grow back fast. She blamed it on a miscommunication.Very unprofessional in my opinion. I believe bad things happen and people can have a bad day but in the end it's how you resolve the solution and they did nothing. read more

I booked an appt with Sara who was absolutely the best stylist I have ever had in my life! She is so knowledgeable, caring, listens and loves her job. From the very very comfortable washing sinks, to the care given during my color so I wouldn't have any stains, this is an absolutely special salon. I think this place could be amazing, though my experience was disappointing. I originally spoke with Barbara to make my appointment. She was fabulous. Made an appointment for a polish change on acrylic nails. I'm on vacation and drove 30 minutes for my appointment. When I arrived I was thrilled to see the pretty salon and be greeted by 2 smiling faces. When Kimberly looked at my nails, she said you have acrylic on your nails. I said yes. She let me know that she can't do a polish change in acrylics. The whole reason for my visit. Very disappointed. read more

I have to admit that I don't often get massages. Usually it's through a groupon or living social or something like that... And when you get that massage, it's clear that they give less than their best. That was not the case here. We bought the basic 60-minute massage (later upgraded to deep tissue) and it was wonderful. Pedicure was fine - the girl did a nice job but very weird set-up. You won't get the whole spa experience here- massaging chair, jet tub for your feet. For the pedicure, you have to climb up a step and basically sit on a padded bench with your back straight against a padded wall for the entire time. Definitely not for the elderly or anyone with a physical disability! By the time it was over, my back ached from sitting there. The foot tub had no jets - just a basic foot tub so no massaging, relaxing action while your feet soak. :( All in all, hard to relax since you are sitting up high, in an uncomfortable seat, with your legs at an uncomfortable angle, pretty much in earshot of everyone's conversations. read more

I would not recommend this place to anyone ! I went there a few months ago to get a balayage ombré hair color, so I made a consultation and they recommended me to Rhonda. I went in to see what she said about it and she said she could do it but she called them "peek-a-boo" highlights and that they were the same thing as balayage. Me not knowing much about hair, I believed her, so I made an appointment to come back. She started putting chunky highlights in my hair with foil all over my head except on the top, since they were peek-a-boo. I did not want that ! But she said that she would not let me walk out of the salon looking bad so I trusted that she knew what she was doing. Once I had the foils on my hair for quite a long time, she takes me to the washing bowl and literally starts ripping the foils out of my hair, and scrubbing my head so hard. I asked for a chocolate brown colored toner and she came out with an orange color, but I thought maybe that would change once it hit my hair... I was wrong. She starts to brush my fine, wet hair with a big bristle brush and then starts to blow dry my hair so roughly, my head was in pain. Once she finished cutting my hair , my highlights were orange ... She thought it looked great ! She seemed so proud of herself and I didn't have the decency to complain, so I bought this toning shampoo she recommended to use to get rid of the warm tones. I spent $170 dollars to have my hair botched. I am currently still trying to get rid of these awful highlights but it looks like I'm just going to have to wait for them to grow out. Very disappointed and I will not be going back there. read more
