Met my mom for a late lunch at this cute and cozy cafe on a Friday afternoon. The ambiance was relaxed and it wasn't busy so we had our pick. A good grab and go spot but still nice for small groups of 4, max 6 since there is limited seating overall. Ordered our meal at the register and picked the blueberry lemon scone to sink our teeth into while we waited. The scone was delicious! Divine in texture and sized to share. The lavender matcha was top tier and freshly ground. A quiet enough atmosphere to chat for a few hours and the servers don't bother you if you're just sitting enjoying your coffee and watching a show on the nearby sofa. The caprese pesto mayo sandwich with grilled chicken was so yummy. The sour dough bread was crunchy and the chicken was juicy and the egg platter (egg style your choice) with its potatoes was perfect. I've been meaning to try Turquoise Bakery & Cafe for a while now. I'm glad my friend got me to drop by! It's located in the old Dunkin', near CVS on 79. There's a great menu with lots to choose from. Whether you want coffee, breakfast or lunch, the menu is filled with plenty of delicious options. We were there for lunch and the service was very good. You order at the cashier and they bring you over your food when it's ready. They also have delivery available as well. I ordered the Pear & Goat Cheese salad which was very fresh and filled with lots of great items. They were even very flexible to switch the mixed greens to just romaine for me, which I found super helpful. My friend enjoyed her Chicken Club sandwich and we both had a great lunch! The menu is filled with lots of great options so I will surely be back again. Whether you want artisan toasts, salads or sandwiches or great bakery options, Turquoise has you covered. The cafe has a decent amount of seating and is a nice place to do some work or to grab a bite. I only got a Turkish coffee but the food did look good! The workers were kind and I enjoyed my time. Only down would be that I think it's a bit pricey (1.05 for alternative milk is a bit wild to me) Side note: while I was here at least 5 groups came by seeking the Dubai chocolate - must be a big hit! Such a great find for desserts ! I went in to try the viral Dubai chocolate bar and came out with an Oreo cheesecake and a baklava. Honestly everything in there looked delicious and it tasted even better. I will say the size of the desserts are on the smaller size but I did enjoy them. Yea- super impressed here. This might be the best brownie I've ever tasted. Loved the oreo and pecan bombs. Wife and daughter loved the chocolate croissants. The Dubai chocolate is what it is. I wasn't a huge fan, but I'm glad I got to try it. So rich, you can tell a lot goes into making that. The rainbow cookies were not quite right. A little dense. The Italian style sandwich cookies were a big too big and flakey, but this is not an Italian bakery- so I'm giving it a pass. Just maybe avoid those and go for their other treats. I came first thing in the morning, right as they opened, and they were still setting up. I wanted a pastry they had posted about online the day before but they said it would take a bit of a while to make. Since I had to get to work, I opted to choose from the few pastries they had available at the moment, which wasn't much. I kind of expected more fine and decadent baked goods based on the pastry that I had originally hoped to get. I picked a rose scone, which was a bit too sweet and more like a dense cake than a scone. The americano cut through the sweetness but it was prepared a bit too hot. It was also a little bitter. I absolutely love this place!!! I came in here with my boyfriend and one time prior and the coffee is always amazing!!! It is for sure a bit pricey but so worth it! 10/10 would recommend if you want to treat yourself to a good coffee and quick bite. Service was amazing everyone was very sweet! The coffee, however, was quite pricey (10.00 each) and it was just okay. Additionally, I inquired about the ingredients, as always, and opted for a hazelnut coffee with almond milk and I ended up sick afterwards (celiac symptoms). I have yet to try the specialty lattes but love their regular cappuccinos and lattes. The lemon almond cookies are THE BEST. I get them every time ! This place was okay I got an espresso and a chocolate chip muffin. I got there around 9:30 on a Tuesday hoping to have one of the croissants but they weren't ready and wouldn't be ready for another half an hour to an hour... and so me and my friend decided to wait for them so we sat down thankfully they were ready so we got some to go and they were BIG and very good I just wish they were ready when we got there. The people who were behind the counter were not really attentive to the people in the cafe but I guess it was an okay experience I hope next time I go the croissants are ready with my coffee.
