We stopped in one evening and the place was not too crowded and they only have about 20 seats in the place. After reading about how good this place was on the reviews I thought it would be packed. We sat down ordered a beer and some food. The beer came and shortly after the food came which was also cold. And no I didn't order cold food. The bartender wasn't very nice when I brought this to her attention. I waited and finally got what I ordered at a proper temperature. Needless to say my experience here was not a good one. The person I was with said their food was just ok kind of bland. I think I'll stick with the place a block west of here (Cork & Kerry). read more

The hamburger sliders were tender and juicy. The calamari is just ok. Tasted salty and chewy mostly. The waitress didn't seem to be very friendly so it was really tense. No drinks menu according to her. Ordered a 312 and it was good. Just glad at least one thing turn out well. read more

Awesome. Try the Meat bowl, it's my favorite. My kids also love coming here after a game (during the day) across the street at the park. They have a variety of foods for them that they enjoy. Turtles is a great neighborhood bar/hangout with friendly waitresses and owner. We've been here for lunch, dinner and for evening drinks. It's also a great place to come to for drinks after having dinner downtown. The outdoor patio area is great in the summer. read more

Stopped in to Turtle's Bar and Grill on the first night it opened and found it to be a very warm and welcoming place in the neighborhood. It is cozy with a lot of nice finishes. The food was very good and the waitstaff was on their game. The best thing about Turtle's is the prices...very reasonable! The owner greeted us and went out of his way to make sure we were happy! Idk what to say at this point. I just became friends with 3 16 yr olds. They do have very good service and they've been in the game for a while. Great place to go for a bucket of beers and a good appetizer. They they do take there time though. I think they're called turtles for a reason. Don't expect fast service. Definately neighborhood joint and you'll find yourself amongst friends and family. So all in all 4 stars. read more

Great daily specials. The $5 burger is soooo bomb! Buffalo chicken egg rolls are a must have! Parm n herb fries are so good. They have a vodka sauce for the pasta that is not normally on the menu but if u ask, they may have it! If they have it, get it! It's so delicious! Portions are a good size! Great for hang overs or b4 a sox game. Just beware that they are not a fully stocked liquor bar. They never have rumpleminz which makes me a lil upset. Small, cozy and totally a neighborhood bar. Couple craft beers not a big selection. Staff was helpful and friendly.

Buffalo wings were amazing. Tasted like a homemade buffalo sauce. The french fries were also amazing and the sea salt was to die for.

Anything you choose on the menu you will not be disappointed. Buffalo Sliders are the best

I was compelled to write my first yelp review because my wife and I decided to try turtles because of their four star reviews, but unfortunately we got low class food and service. Their burgers were over cooked to the point that I couldn't distinguish them from biting into a car tire. There were only a couple groups of college kids in the bar, yet the bartenders paid us no attention even when our drinks had been sitting empty for 10 minutes. When we called them over for refills, they were very rude and acted like we were causing them a great inconvenience. Normally I like to give second chances, but this was sick a bad experience that I can state with 100% certainty that I will never be visiting this bar again, and you shouldn't either. They offer an outdoor patio that obviously opens when the weather is permitting great little place to go and sit down after an exhausting day in the office. Food is absolutely wonderful garlic parm fries, Italian grilled chicken sandwich, buffalo chicken egg rolls are fan favorites everything on their menu is awesome that's why I'd give them 5 stars! Now let's get to the service its god awful; slow, the waitress are miserable and take 87 years to get you a plastic cup of water. Water in a plastic cup what has this come too? But yet every time you see them they are always laughing and goofing around with each other and 14 year olds that are sitting at the bar! I don't know what's going on. Also their bartenders look miserable as well every time I go in there, and they take forever to get me a miller lite especially the bigger bartender everyone calls "Meech" I mean first things first is he even old enough to be behind the counter? He's always on his phone, and yelling at the servers also he doesn't know much about the products on the menu either. Overall if they had a little prep talk about customer service before they started everyday and how to speak to paying customers this would be a great place to become a regular! I was skeptical that their Italian food would be good but it's delicious. A big fan of the parmesan garlic fries and meatball sub. Also try their homemade balsamic salad dressing- it's great! On hot days they have $5 frozen vodka lemonade. Prices are reasonable. I knocked off a star because service isn't the best. Dropped by here on a Friday night for dinner then stayed for drinks. The food was good and the bar itself was pretty cool. Probably would've given it four stars if not for our bartender Eric. He was on top of his shit and made sure we didn't have to wait around for drinks (something I don't understand why other bars aren't better at). He was also a funny guy and by the time we left felt like he was one of our buddies. If you go there, find him - he had a bunch of tattoos - and he'll make sure you're taken care of. read more

Received a gift card from restaurant.com and came here since it was in the neighborhood. There isn't a sign so unless it's night you might not notice it. The food here was amazing (trust me I'm picky). I had bolognese with penne BBQ wing Parmesan fries and my friend had a chicken sandwich. For the amount of food you get the prices are on point! Everyone was really nice even the other patrons (one guy bought everyone free turtle shots! They're deliciously smooth!!) and we were well taken care of by our hostess! I first went to Turtles about a year ago, the only major complaint I had then was that they did not have enough pork on there pulled pork sandwich. Well now they do. Have had it a few times and yes they added more pork to there sandwiches. The employeees and owner do try to go out of there way to make you feel comfortable. read more

Thanks to Tony and his staff for making us feel at home during our visit to Cellular field.Tony went out and grabbed us as we looked inside and they were setting up for a retirement party. He told us "hey, were are you guys going, we have room at the bar." We sat at the bar for a couple of hours before the Sox/Rangers game on tues and then returned on thurs. after the Sox/Rangers game.. Tony, you and your staff have to me commended on the service you give there. During the warmer months I take the whole family to eat on the patio and there is usually enough room to park our baby stroller at the table. Can be very busy during Sox games, but overall a great place to eat. read more
