Really cool coffee shop. A great variety of options available. Homemade gelato (made in a machine imported from Italy), fresh baked goods, great lunch options, and of course.. phenomenal coffee. The staff are friendly enough, though there used to be friendlier ones there. It's pretty much always a crowd of people there, which tells you this spot is great, but can be a little off putting if you're never sure you'll find a spot to sit for awhile vs taking your order to go. To be upfront, this local coffee shop is owned by my MIL and managed by my BIL so I know what goes into the upkeep of the business, time & energy, labor, etc. My unbiased review is that it's a cute little coffee shop that offers a large variety of drinks and food. My go-to is their Moo Brews and their Lox bagel sandwich or a sausage egg and cheese. Their bagels are sourced from NY so they're really good. They also have great grab and go sandwiches and wraps. They have plenty of regulars and there's always people occupying the tables - great spot to get work done or to catch up with a friend. It's overall a great local business that any town would be lucky to have. read more

I made a mistake coming to Tusk & Cup, not because the coffee wasn't good. Far from it. Instead, it redefined what a great latte is for me, and I'm just not enjoying coffee from other spots as much as I used to. We ordered a mocha latte and a coconut latte. Both were the very smooth and a great afternoon pick me up. It's a little pricey but totally worth it. I'm definitely coming back next time I'm in the area. read more

We stopped here on our way out of town after visiting friends for the weekend to fuel up before a long drive. Wow am I jealous they have this gem so close to home! There were tons of food and drink options to choose from. My latte was delicious but even more, the bagels were SO good. Granted they get them from NYC so I shouldn't be surprised. My bagel with cream cheese, lox and tomato was pretty perfect. It was a very satisfying breakfast pick-me-up. If we lived closer I'd be here all the time, especially to take advantage of all of the seating and wifi! read more

The coffee was good as usual, but the scone I got was not. They are made with butter and the butter had gone rancid so it tasted pretty bad. I got it as a takeout so I did not realize until I was too far to go back. They need to be more mindful about how long stuff has been sitting in the cases. Prices for the pastries and scones are around $5 so That's $5 out the window. Coffee gets a 5 star scone gets zero star. read more

Ok don't laugh at me, but this was the first place that I had ever had an affogato. And I'm Italian... well, I'll set the stage. It was a few years ago (sorry it's taken me so long to write this review) and I had just taken my daughter to our 4th national park service area (weir farm right up the road which was so amazing by the way- if you're looking for a fun activity in the area). Anyways I step into Tusk & Cup and I have about an hour and forty-five-minute drive to get home. It was a beautiful May day. Nice and warm. Perfect weather for some gelato. I was so excited to try it since there aren't many gelatarie in my neighborhood just ice cream places which are distinctly different. So I went to the counter and asked for chocolate gelato and an espresso for my very long drive and my daughter also asked for chocolate gelato. The woman at the counter slightly tilted her head and asked do you want an affogato instead? And I said what's that? And she said well it's exactly what you're asking for, but together. I said hey why not and that's such a cool concept. When I took my first bite, let me tell you. My mind was BLOWN. The flavors were amazing! The gelato turned the espresso into a creamy wonderland and the espresso turned my gelato into the most delicious coffee flavored ice cream I have ever had. I became obsessed with affogato after this wonderful experience and I have Tusk & Co to thank for turning me into a rounder, but happier person :) read more

Tusk and cup is adorable. The people who work there are grown up and attentive. They get your order right and are pleasant. My sons fav is the hot cocoa (mom tested and approved). My daughter loves the elephant swag and it's a nice relaxed environment. They also do a great job with their social media. Really cute. read more

Love this place! We stopped in and had a peppermint mocha and peppermint hot chocolate. Both were excellent, and I love all of the speciality/seasonal drinks they have. There is a ton of seating here and it has a very cozy atmosphere. The staff is so kind and even replaced my drink when I spilled half of it! My Dad and I tried Tusk & Cup for the first time in Ridgefield CT. We had lunch and I still had time before getting my 2nd Covid vaccine. This place was so cute! Tusk & Cup had so many choices expresso's, ristretto's, macchiato's, cappuccino's, cold brew, brewed iced tea, hot / loose tea's, crema fredda's, frappe's, Italian sodas and creamy gelato. It was busy for a Tuesday afternoon, almost all the tables were filled with at least one person at each table and three tables had people outside too. The man at the register was patient while Dad and I looked over all the options. He was also friendly when we placed our orders. For Dad a mint moo brew and for myself a bacio moo brew. I think my Dad meant to have a hot coffee because Ive never seen him drink an iced coffee drink or cold brew. But he really enjoyed his drink. I enjoyed my bacio moo brew which was a hazelnut cold brew. Really wish I lived closer to Ridgefield because Tusk & Cup would be my new coffee obsession. read more

Better then your deli, sbux, or d&d, but leaves a lot to be desired. Redding roasters is your average wannabe boutique roaster, unfortunately they pretty much exclusively use them. They have a trifecta machine and set water temps and ratios based on crap beans (which is okay as it's what they have). Don't expect to get a proper bright v60 Ethiopian. Otherwise it's a nice little coffee shop, very welcoming and great place to crash with a laptop when needed or desired. read more

I like this coffee shop a lot! It's been a while since we've visited and I was excited to come today. It wasn't as good as I remembered but it was definitely good. I ordered a mint mocha latte- Tis the Season- and it was delicious. Unlike a chain coffee shop, this one was not artificial tasting and well made. Great flavor! I also ordered an egg white spinach wrap. Nothing bad about the flavor at all- came as described on their menu. It was just pretty small for the price. Like a large egg roll size. When a menu states 'Wrap' you kinda think you'll get a full sized tortilla. Definitely not a huge issue for me- I don't eat large portions but just wanted to mention. My husband got the tried and true-bacon, egg, and cheese on chibatta. Cannot go wrong with that. Delicious as always. He also got a chai tea latte which he enjoyed very much. We love this place. The coffee here is the BEST in the area. I recommend a shakerato with your choice of milk and (if you desire) flavored syrup. As someone who loves the flavor of coffee and expresso but also cannot say no to a sweet, syrupy seasonal beverage, I love how the shakerato balances both the sweetness of the syrup without being too overpowering while also still highlighting the flavor of the expresso. The different flavored lattes and seasonal beverages they offer here are awesome and highly recommended as well - the strawberry chocolate is a new favorite of mine. One thing however is I would love it if there was some sort of paper menu that had a list of all the products available. There are different menus of various drink and food items all over the store, so it would be nice to just have menu that outlines all of the available products in one place for convenience. read more

The least any of the employees can do when they receive a tip for a $9 cappuccino is say thank you or show some type of appreciation.. last I checked tips were customary for outstanding service. I couldn't wait to go back to Tusk & Cup after having such a great experience the first time but it seems like a lot has changed since the last time I came here. To start, the drinks were sub par, which certainly wasn't the case during my first visit. The s'mores latte tasted like a regular latte and the hot chocolate was also heavy on the milk and not very good. We also ordered a brownie bundt cake with chocolate ganache and I have to say this was the greatest disappointment. The cake was hard and the "ganache" was crumbly. Even the inside of the bundt cake wasn't soft and it quite frankly tasted stale :( The one thing that I still enjoyed was the coconut gelato affogato--a MUST try! I'm glad that at least this one didn't disappoint. It's probably one of the best affogatos I've ever had and that's why I'm rating this coffee shop as 3 stars instead of 2. The service was also not the best and that might be because they're busier now. When it was fairly new, it wasn't so busy and this time, there were maybe 10 people inside. The cashier seemed like she just wanted us in and out and was getting impatient when we were taking our time deciding what we wanted, even though there was no one else in line behind us. Service was fast but the quality was compromised. If I were to come back, it'd only be for the affogato. read more

So this visit and review has been long overdue. I've been trying to get out to this spot for months and just haven't been able to but very happy that I did. I just want to start of by saying that I STRONG DISLIKE their parking lot. Like seriously. But once I got past that, I loved everything else. The spot is deceivingly bigger than how it looks on the outside. It feels like a whole different place in the back. Very comfy with all the sofas & huge fireplace. So much sunlight shining in which is awesome for me who loves using natural light when taking photos & vlogging. The workers were very nice, friendly & great with recommendations. I ordered the Almond Joy latte & the cinnamon bun pastry (the cinnamon bun gave me the feeling of store bought because of how perfect it looked but I could be very wrong). Either way, both very good. I also thought that it was pretty cool that they sold Gelato too so, of course, I had to get some. I had a combination of Pistachio & Stracciatella (sweet cream w/ chocolate chips but is also the base gelato for all of their other flavors). OMG, they were both so delicious. One of the best things I love when discovering new coffee shops is seeing their art that they display on their walls and the art at this spot was pretty impressive. They had an awesome flower painting that was 3 separate paintings to create it. It was my favorite painting there. The shop is not hard to find. The parking lot was an issue for me but may not be for anyone else but passed that, what an awesome coffee shop in Ridgefield. read more
