Motel 6/ Tustin Motor Lodge was a complete mistake. The front desk clerk was polite but it went downhill from there! The room was filthy and sticky on all the surfaces. Holes in the bedspread and what looked like mucous/ blood stains spotted around the room. The bathroom was disgustingly small and outdated. Beds and pillows were very uncomfortable. We only needed the room for one night for traveling but I would not of stayed another night if I needed to. You definitely get what you pay for at this place! read more

I don't know where to begin with what's wrong with this place. The parking is horrible,the hotel looks dated even though there have been renovation made. The wall ac/heater didn't work properly, the shower had mold and hard water scale both inside and outside the shower. My wife and I were awaken at 1am by people fighting in the parking lot then in the room. Shortly after that incident stopped another fight started . I would 100% never recommend this hotel . My husband and I come here weekly for a date night just him and I. This is the only place he and I will go to and stay the night at. The people are very professional and friendly makes us feel at home. The rooms are always clean and comfortable. They are very accommodating to those with physical limitations and needs. read more

The room we got was remodeled and bed was really comfy. Lots of new up to date decor all the way-around. It was actually impressive with new carpet with lament wooden looking floors. Now from the outside and over all, it appears descend to the naked eye. however, at about 9 PM the rave began well into 4:45ish AM then to my dismay no hot water. Showered in cold water not even lukewarm water but straight out cold. Lucky for me I am used to it and that is one of the reasons I have tight skin till this day. Now if you are a princess that needs more then just a nice "looking" room. pros Nice remodeled rooms heater works microwave ice machine cons cold water in the shower (after running water for some time but no luck) no phone to call front-office (makes you wonder if they care if u feel safe) $79 a night plus taxes total $85 no cups no coffee maker no soap bars no shampoo/conditioner Conclusion The "NO" phone in the room, to not bother no-one is unreal. Got a nasty room in the bottom floor. The shower head was covered in a plastic bag with tape,the fan box was hanging from the ceiling. The have one the cheapest toiletries ever. First of all on Wednesday I arrive around 4pm and I talked to the receptionist that I wanted to stay for 2 nights and they said they have available a great room and everything included. They claimed they have great service, the rooms are spotless and everything works including A/C, TV and that the bedroom feels great and comfortable. Once I got inside room 236, the room smelled really bad and there was mold inside the bathroom, the water sinks where loose and the tv didn't work. I had to call the maintenance person to fix the tv. And inside they have snack and beverage machine, but they had nothing inside. This is the worse franchise of the motel 6. Yesterday I talked to the manager, so to speak they were unprofessional and couldn't do anything about my complaints. I don't know if they didn't understand me, but please help me solve this problem. We need professional inspectors to inspect the motel 6 and fix everything. I will not be coming back!!! Everything is the worse motel I have ever seen. Even in Mexico the service is way better! and they bedrooms in general are better, everything smells better and better food. If I could give this place a minus rating I would. I made a reservation for my mother and she stayed there 2 nights recently. The rooms A/C was not working and when requested to change a room they refused. When she finally convinced them to change rooms after paying a fee the next room had a toilet with no lever to flush. Also the bathtub was dirty had a ring in it. When complained was logged they offered a 15% discount at her next stay! WTH! Crazy this place is rundown and no respect for people. read more

"wHOre-TEL". zero stars. We were looking for a room for the night due to a family member being hospitalized nearby. The room had old food in the fridge. The AC unit front face fell off at least 2 times during the night. The AC wouldn't stay on and when it did it was really loud. Then the fridge made a constant clicking noise so when the AC shut off you can hear the fridge. Not worth the money. We tried to get our money back after trying to deal with it for about an hour the guy said no. He did give us a discount but I would've rather have not stayed. I would have rather drove the hour ride home. You got Crackheads walking around, didn't trust my car out there. The room was small with unnecessary sized furniture. Seriously the worst place to stay. Only checked in here because it's moderately close to Disneyland and cheap. Our bathroom floor had a huge gash in it, the shower handle was broken and it was hard to control the water temperature, the management randomly shut off our water and wouldn't turn it back on until we harassed them. The owner wasn't even apologetic at all. The parking lot is one way and didn't have enough spots we had to park on the street one night. I am here on business and I can't exactly complain. I stay at least three times a week out of town typically in hotels but due to a sudden call out of town I needed a place fast. Granted, this motel may not be a four star, but you get what you pay for, and what time allows. Customer service at check in was very kind. Maid service was thorough. The motel is under renovations which is needed, but for a temporary stay it is liveable. Rooms are small and the bathtub needs resurfacing, as well as a strong carpet scrub, and parking can be a challenge, but considering what I paid I can not complain. Once the renovation is complete I am certain better reviews will soon follow. read more

Hotel was inexpensive and in a good location about 1/10th mile from Old Town, Tustin. BUT it's a little seedy and really lacking in amenities. No in-room coffee. No hot water. And even though there was a working microwave in my room, there were no plates or mugs to use in it. I thought I would make instant coffee in the microwave, since there was no coffeemaker, but I had to go out and buy a coffee so I would have a microwaveable cup. What really angered me was that they gave me a duplicate charge for the same room, since I already paid on Orbitz. The lady at the counter didn't even bother to look up my stated reservation on Orbitz, and said, "Next time just come by and tell them Orbitz's price and they'll match it." Not the greatest stay ever. It smelled like cigarettes both times I stayed there in the non smoking rooms. The parking lot had very little space to maneuver in. For a place to sleep, ok. Comfortable, clean. But other than a fridge and microwave, no amenities. No Kleenex, soap on the counter. No soap dish. No shampoo etc no hair dryer. No coffee machine. Nice tv with free wifi. Overall an ok place to stay if you need to sleep and go. On the plus side, location is good by the freeway but ultra quiet. We stayed here during the 2017 Tustin Chili Cook-Off. Checking in took a few minutes but I booked the room a day before with hotels. The parking in the main entry way is a bit tight if you have a full size truck or vintage caddie...but there's another parking lot on the other side of the building. The room and the motel grounds seem to have been cleaned up and up dated. I remember this place used to look pretty beat. The new look is nice and welcoming. Inside the room was surprisingly spacious. The king size bed was well made and without stains, pubes, scabs, or bugs. Dam nice! The A/C and heater worked as normal, plus it looked somewhat new. Same with the flat screen tv and little fringe with a microwave on top. Like I said, the room was spacious. It's basically one huge room. The hot tub is built into the corner. It was clean and worked well. Across the room in full view is the huge shower. If privacy is your thing or not, the room does have two other "rooms". One is the "toilet room". It's just that with toilet paper and overhead lighting. The other "room" I'd like to call "kinky klosetland" since it's a walk-in closet large enough for you and some friends with weird ideas. Good thing the shower is the same size. Anyway......in conclusion our stay at the Tustin Motor Lodge was five stars. read more

I recently lived at this motel for over 3 months. During that time it became clear the owners/ managers are beyond cheap, and they way over charge for quality of the motel & rooms they provide. Just a couple examples are that the WiFi in the rooms is horrible & they even charge for ice. I moved out because I got tired of being ripped off and at the same time being treated like crap by the owners/managers. Lastly, I think the very few 4 & 5 star ratings are fake. read more

Sticky carpet, peeling linoleum in the bathroom, short black hairs in the bed and on the pillows, pilling comforter, and there isn't even a fitted sheet on the bed!! It's a king size top sheet disguised as a fitted sheet, talk about cheap. The bed is lumpy, the pillows also suck. Luckily I had a blanket in my car that I could wrap myself up in, I'm considering buying a pillow at target since I'm here for a few days. At the end of the day I stayed here purely out of convenience, not because I wanted to stay in this hotel (probably won't want to ever again). If you can avoid staying here, DO SO. read more

Do NOT stay here ! Customer service is bad ... Rooms are disgusting. .. so I get a room here because I just needed somewhere to stay for a few hours until traffic dies down .. the guy at the front desk asks smoking or non smoking. . I reply non smoking ( I hate cigarettes ) & he looks at me with a dirty look & asks again .. UMM NON SMOKING I DON'T SMOKE .. (just because I have tattoos does not mean I smoke. . Lol ) not to mention he keeps staring at my tattoos like they are going to bite him... so finally I get the room I get out of the shower (which never got warm) I'm walking around my room naked & I hear someone start to try opening my door! I run towards it & close it just in time. . They keep trying to open my door while I'm yelling at the man that someone is always in this room ! He walks away & I call the front desk they say they forgot someone was in this room already. Are you kidding me? ?? That's so creepy. . What if I was still in the shower & I walk out to a man in my room ?? Geez . But wait it gets better ... my sister comes over to see me , I decide I'm going to drive home after all. . So I tell my sister she can sleep in my room ... ( I warned her about random people trying to come in & told her to make sure the door is locked before she wakes up realizing she's sharing the room with someone else in the morning ) ...I didn't want any problems or mix ups so we both went to the front desk & told them I would not be staying there anymore instead my sister will be staying. . So we took my name off of the room & put hers on ... no problem. So In the morning. . My sister's boyfriend brings her doughnuts for breakfast (so cute ) .. while he's at the door a toothless homeless looking man (who turns out to me they're maintenance guy??..creepy) & a guy at the front desk ( someone I've never seen before ) comes running up to him screaming at him saying he's not the one that got the room freaking out on him ! He says I'm just here to give my girlfriend doughnuts. ... lol seriously? ?? So they bang on the door yelling at my sister to come out ( she's naked in a robe) the tells them she's naked & can't walk outside! She pokes her head out & they start screaming where's the other girl! With the white car where is she! ! My sister is in tears because these two creepy men aren't even letting her explain that I gave her my room & we are sister's. .. they keep yelling at her & run back to the office. A few minutes later the creepy toothless homeless maintenance guy comes back & said they looked at the papers & we did switch names on the room & sorry they bothered her ..are you serious? ? This Moto is definitely not worth the $125 for early checkin rate, or $85 for regular rate. My fiancé was flying through to the East Coast and had layover here for a couple of hours. we chose this hotel because it was right across the street from where we first met, and we thought we'd have a mini anniversary hook-up . I tried to talk with the guy at the front desk and let him know this is why we had to be here early and it was really important to us and if he can give us the regular rate instead of the early check in right. This dude was extremely rude and unapologetic. On top of that the room had no toiletries or hairdryer. Fridge barely worked, and the bed sheets were obviously NOT clean! Long black hairs all over the sheets AND the bath towels. How in the Hell is this worth $125!! It's not even worth $85. And the customer service sucks ass. House keeping stole my phone charger!! The house keeping just so happens to not speak English, which causes inconvenience when wanting to request ice, an extra face cloth, or anything. This "Lodge" is taking advantage of people by using its location [@ Old Town Tustin] to prey on unsuspecting visitors. The rooms come overly painted in one color. The bathroom and shower have paint covering the black mold. You can still see some black mold in the crevices of the bathroom fittings. The front desk service is a joke. I ordered a king room & he gave me a key to the room. When I opened the door to the room, my eyes witnessed the most disturbing, dirtiest room that I have ever seen. It was a total insult, and the (I would call him an idiot but maybe he just isn't a good serviceman) front desk guy checked the area before handing me a key to the filth. And after I complained of the room, the (would say idiot but I have more honor) guy went and checked and returned and gave me a room key, quietly. I went to the room in the 90° heat and find that there is a queen bed, yet I paid for a king. Once back to the (I so badly would like to call him an idiot but I will resist) guy at the front desk, whom doesn't apologize or show any remorse for trying to trick me and CHEAT ME! Use extreme caution when booking here! Or better yet STAY AWAY!!!!!!! The kicker of all is THEY CHARGE YOU 25 čent for ICE !!! That's right you pay more money that any other hotel to be tricked into a location!! There is silence, deceit, trickery, and dishonesty here and it seems to be normalized as part of their routine. When I returned hours later to recoup an iphone charger set that was left, the new front desk guy (I would also want to put idiot for him but I will resist) says it my fault and didn't seem to care! Also the king bed room is under a light so the light shines thru the wood blinds and lights the room all night, more than any tv will. This place is due for renovations and new management! Customer service was great! As was the cleaning service. However, the condition of the room left a lot to be desired. I felt as though I had left the 21st-century and stepped into a 1980s thrift store room. The carpet was absolutely disgusting. I laid down towels and kept my flip-flops on just so my feet would not touch the floor. There was a ripped part of the tile that was slightly elevated and my toes and shoes kept getting caught in it. The tub was beyond disgusting. There comes a time when things need to be replaced and every aspect of the tub was beyond repair or paint. In this day and age of flatscreen TVs I was truly surprised to see a bulky TV set in my room. Although it did work fine it was just surprising to see it. I would say you get what you pay for but I have stayed in other inns that cost less and received a lot more in the way of accommodations. If you want good customer service and be situated in old town Tustin this place will suit that. If you want comfortable accommodations this is not the place. I am a landlord myself and I would never subject my tenants to living under these conditions. read more
