Nice hotel, nice decor, front desk staff was helpful and pleasant. I liked the size of room. It was clean and nicely appointed. I only deductible a star because the complimentary breakfast offered was a little sad and lacking. The eggs and bacon tasted artificial and gross. Other options were typical packaged cereals, bread products. Coffee was okay not great.

WOW!!! 5 STAR EXCELLENT RATING Ayres Hotel is a such a gem here in the orange county. Location is great as it is close to anaheim and freeway.Lots of shops, restaurants and stores you can see and visit. But- please be aware that there is a daily parking fee of 15$ daily which is affordable compared to other hotels like 30-50$ a day. Check in was a breeze and BROOKE in the front desk is amazing with Charming personality,Very professional and Have a positive attitude. KITCHEN/DINING AREA staff are amazing as well. They are hardworker and doing multiple task to make sure that the food, drink station are refilled. The dining area is clean and organized and fully stocked with condiments, snacks, fruits and all the dinnerware that you need. shout out to staff like Brooke,Eduardo,Julia,Guadalupe and all... also to the housekeeping staff in keeping the Area immaculately clean. We will be back for sure.

We really enjoyed the room. Normally we stay at a closer hotel to Disney so that we can walk and avoid parking garage fees. We thought we'd try something different. Parking was only $15! So we had no problem paying for parking at Disney. Near by hotels charge twice or more. Free breakfast that was all good. Great room to have breakfast in as well. Hotel and Rooms were clean and big. We will be visiting this hotel again soon. Thank you

Color me impressed! I booked this hotel for one night while I was going to be in the area. Location-wise there is so much around so that's a plus. There was plentiful parking when I arrived and during check-in the female receptionist was very pleasant and got me situated quickly. Once I got to my room (2 queen bed), I couldn't believe how spacious it was - this would be a great choice for families. Everything looked clean and not outdated. The bed and pillows were fantastic, I slept so well. The walls weren't paper thin so I had peace & quiet, yay. I also made it a point to check out their jacuzzi/pool area. They have towels, mobility chairs, several loungers/tables, and a bathroom. It was cold outside so I didn't try the pool but I did enjoy my time in the jacuzzi, jets and heat were perfect. In the morning they do provide a breakfast buffet that does include hot items (eggs, bacon or sausage, etc). They have a variety of juices alongside the typical coffee and water. Great way to start the day! I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone needing accommodation in the area. :)

5/5 - customer service - the front desk staff (Brooke and Brian helped me) were delightful and helpful! 5/5 big rooms and ample parking including a garage in the back, 3 Tesla chargers, 1 regular electric car charged. Location is quite good right off the 5 freeway and 10 minutes from Disneyland! The reasons why I'm giving one less star... 4/5 - somewhat thin walls - I could hear my upstairs neighbors running a marathon across the room at all hours of the night and early morning. Probably some kids having fun but it echos to the first floor wing. 4/5 - breakfast... to be fair Ayres is one of the only hotels who gives an actual full breakfast as part of their rate. Just make sure you go right when it opens or wait for fresh food. When I went at 9:30 on a Saturday it was pretty picked through and the sausage was dry, pancakes were cold and eggs not as fresh. No more juice either. However when I went on Sunday (same items but bacon) when it opened at 7am much fresher but also you're with the crowd of families trying to pick up food before heading to the parks. 4/5 - internet- I had a fair amount of work to do on a weekend and all of a sudden I lost connection across my computer iPhone and even when I picked up the hotel phone no dial tone. I was about to walk out to the front desk to find out but it was restored about 30 minutes later.

This was a quick overnight stay after finishing our cruise. We had tickets to the Angels game and this was the perfect place to stay. It was in great proximity to Angels stadium. We were able to check in early and get ready for the game. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful . Shout out to Ree and the other young lady (sorry forgot her name) Breakfast was great and we even did a quick workout at the gym. This is truly a nice little gem in Orange.

Very clean and very good breakfast, has all the amenities you need and want. It was quiet at night and the staff was very professional and timely with responses. We will stay here again. Way better than the tangerine and holiday inn.

I absolutely love staying at this hotel after a long day at Disneyland! It's an 8 minute drive from the Disney Parks. My favorite perk is the complimentary breakfast in the morning from 7-10 AM. They have a variety of food options from baked goods, juices, coffee and tea, fruits and yogurt and my favorite, pancakes, hashbrowns, eggs, and bacon. This was our second time staying here and the hotel is always very clean and well maintained. Complimentary parking is also available which is awesome. Our room was spotless and smelled great. We are looking forward to our next stay here!

The restoration is stunning--you get the soul of a historic property but with a polished, eclectic aesthetic that feels incredibly refreshing and fun to experience for your stay or guest experience. (Clumsy me) When I returned, I asked the front desk if they could confirm the room number. They informed me that my name was not listed on the reservation, only my fiancée's. One of the staff members even acknowledged that he had seen me the night before when we checked in together. Despite that, James came over and told me he could not provide the room number because, legally, my name was not on the reservation. I completely understand and respect the hotel's privacy and security policies. My concern wasn't that the policy was enforced it was the way the situation was handled. A little more empathy and professionalism would have gone a long way. Instead of making me feel like a valued guest, I felt dismissed during what was already an inconvenient situation. I appreciate that guest safety comes first, but I hope future situations like this can be handled with a bit more understanding and courtesy.

The woman at the front desk with long red hair and long fingernails was far from welcoming and came across as harsh and snappy. As a first-time guest, it was an immediate turnoff. After getting through the uncomfortable check-in process, we headed to the bar for a glass of wine. The staff was already mopping the bar area since the restaurant closes at 9:00 p.m. We ordered two glasses of wine, which came to $29. Thankfully, the wine itself was enjoyable. The rooms are generously sized and nicely appointed. However, the linens had an odd smell, almost like inexpensive laundry detergent. Our room was located across from an electrical room, which created noticeable noise. The bathroom fan runs continuously, so we had to keep the bathroom door closed while sleeping. Based on the reviews, this property seemed promising, but I want to provide an honest account of my experience. One positive is that the windows open slightly, allowing for some fresh air. However, the air conditioning does not stay on consistently, which would make me hesitant to stay here during the summer months.
