Child care is something every mother is concerned with... will they take care of my baby like I would take care of my baby... will they be safe.. will they learn... will they grow and continue to advance and mature.... ??? As a mother of one and will only have one in her life this choice did not sit lightly with me. However it was a nessesity for our family, so I wanted to find a home away from home for my son. And we found it!!! We went to several other companies and were disappointed, however there was not one thing we did not like, respect , or appreciate with Tutor Time specifically the location on Bell road. My son was always with mommy, daddy or Grandma until he was 3 years old. However as mentioned before there was a time when that changed. Our son had been in tutor time for just under 2 years, he now started kindergarden I cried, and he cried when he knew he was no longer going to see his teacher Mr Peco everyday. The education and attention which he recieved while he was there was exactly what we needed, looked for, hoped for, and expected. The hardest part was dropping him off in the morning, since he suffers from separation anxiety, however that was something his teacher as well as other staff members took note of and addressed in a constructive, benedfical way for my son. Needless to say he no longer has the issue. The people there were like family to us, and truly provided us with what we needed and what is deserved for any parent leaving their child in someone else's care. What is more , our son has been identified as an advanced student since he started Kindergarden this year, which is an amazing testimate to the staff and dedication which they have not only to the daily needs and care of your child but as they continue to grow the educational development of your child. Children get sick, that is a fact of life, they are a giant germ LOL, but loveable ones. When children start school they will also get sick, it is how they adjust to the environmental change, that is normal for our bodies to react in that way. The hardest thing we faced was leaving Tutor Time, because we felt as if they were our family, and honestly we still stop by and say hello, my son loves his teacher and will always remember him. We are a thankful family, thankful for the attention, assistance, education, and genuine love and concern which they have for the children which have been entrusted into their care. I could honestly say how loving the enviroment is here. I am an ex Assistant Teacher here due to moving back home. I wish I could copy and paste this location and all of the staff that works here. Sarah Garza has been the most helpful and has always left a smile on my face while also fighting my own battles. This is as well a developing school that needs help. Our new Director Deedee is amazing and has amazing things coming for this school. Coming from a staffs point of view, your children have our best interest as well as our love. You will not be disappointed in committing to our team! As far as enrolling your child- this team would love to have you and your family. I normally do not post reviews, but due to the feeling I get thinking about when my son spent his short time here as a toddler, my stomach drops. My concerns were dismissed by the director who was named Natalia at the time, as it being kids developmentally appropriate as far as biting and hitting and bullying because I expressed my concern of other kids who were doing such to my son. She explained that the other kid hitting and biting and bullying had older siblings and were probably not being paid attention to so that there wasn't anything they could do. Not only was my son experiencing this, but I also observed instances where kids were climbing on top of bookshelves and not being paid attention to on the cameras and I also heard when I would walk through the halls to pick him up or drop him off teachers yelling in other classrooms at kids at the top of their lungs or cursing, which I also brought to the directors attention which she said she would address. I observed certain teachers being aggressive in the way that they laid kids down for nap time, including my son, as far as just short of slamming them on the mat because they are frustrated that they weren't wanting to sleep, which I also expressed to the director. And last, but not least my son had to go to the emergency room shortly after starting here due to an injury from him "falling" in the classroom which to this day, I don't know if I believe, but he needed stitches the injury was so bad. I requested the camera footage and of course was never provided such. The only reason I am leaving this review is because I want to warn other parents and children not to attend here. I genuinely am concerned about children's safety here and full heartedly believe that CPS should be involved in investigating what occurs in this facility. I understand that resources are low with childcare and that Staff are probably not being paid fair wages however, no children should ever be put in situations where they are being yelled at or subjected to bullying by other kids because of lack of resources or parents concerns dismissed again due to lack of resources. Worse preschoo I've ever seen. Teacher was careless. No introducruin from anyone on the first day. My child was just thrown into a strange env without any support. When my child went to ask teacher for help, she just ignored her multiple times. Teacher showed zero empathy and engagement to sup an emotional distressed child on their first day/week of transition. I don't know how they have the guts to advertise real time CCTV. What's the point? So every parent can see how their babies are treated with no respect and no support? I witnessed not only my baby not being cared for, but other children as well who needed support to get used to the new environment. The entire time my child attended, I saw no smile on the teacher's face. It tells me how much she hates her job and how careless she is. When I confronted the school and unenrolled my baby, it took them a whole week to respond back and formally acknowledge my concerns. And of course they had all sorts of excuses to get away with it. My daughter was traumatized for the 2 days that she went. If you love your children and care about their wellbeing, do NOT send them here. read more

*PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT ENROLL YOUR CHILDREN HERE - PLEASE TAKE THE TIME TO READ THIS AS IT IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT* -If I could give this place -10 stars, I would- I'll start off by saying that Tutor Time was the first center my son had ever been enrolled in. This location was his 2nd Tutor Time that he had attended. At first, I was extremely well pleased at the knowledge that was being given to me about the facility and this made me comfortable and confident that my son would be well taken care of. Unfortunately, within the first week, my son was being bitten by other children almost daily. I thought, "They know no better and being 2 years old, its due to their lack of ability to express feelings of frustration" It was understandable. However, in one instance, I got a phone call that my son had been bitten and when I looked on the cameras I noticed my son was no longer in the 2's room. I called the facility and they told me they had separated him from the class. I was upset that my son was seemingly being punished for being bitten by another classmate. The other child was still allowed to attend and was still biting. In another instance (I could go on for days) I had dropped my son off like every other morning. When I walked into the classroom, the first thing I heard was "I told you guys you cannot get on the f******g counters!! Get off of the f*****g counter now!!" I was APPALLED!! My first instinct was to turn around with my son and leave the center, however, being a single mom this was not an option for me. Instead, I went to the front desk IMMEDIATELY and reported this conduct. Not only was the woman screaming at the top of her lungs at the children scaring them, but she was cussing at them too! I could not believe it. I watched the cameras ALL DAY with my phone propped up on my desk in my office at work. My son was almost 3 years old at this point in time, Natalia (the director) had asked me to accompany her in her office. She told me that if he is not fully potty trained by the time he turns 3 that he would have to be disenrolled because there is not enough room in the 2's room. As a single mother who worked 10 hours a day 7 days a week at this time, it was extremely hard to find time to potty train as much as I had liked to. I was told that THE NEXT DAY my son would have to be ONLY IN UNDERWEAR! I found this ridiculous, how can you put a child who is not potty trained in only underwear to soil himself? Long story short, I brought training underwear for him (10 pairs to be exact) and requested the underwear be placed over his diaper. when I picked him up that afternoon, he was in his own waste! Pants soaked and all. Who knows how long my baby had been in his own soaked and poopy clothing. My poor baby had a terrible diaper rash and it was clear that he was not changed. Please keep in mind he always had extra pairs of clothing for accidents. I was absolutely LIVID. Natalia also threatened to disenroll my son due to my mother questioning the behavior of the staff. She removed her from access to the cameras and prohibited her from entering the facility at all even to drop him off or pick him up even after my mother cried begging to be able to pick him up and drop him off. She also told me that if I did not agree with her decision to remove my mother from his care at their location that they would disenroll him. I am running out of space to write; so here is another long story short, in the process of looking for another facility, Natalia stated my son 'fell on a chain linked fence" upon arrival, IT WAS THE MOST HORRENDOUS BRUISE MY SON HAS EVER HAD IN HIS LIFE. This is NOT said lightly. Right on his forehead was a RED, BLACK and PURPLE bruise the size of a softball with a knot underneath!! When we took him to urgent care, we were told that size and kind of injury was POSITIVELY not made by falling into a chain link fence. This place is TERRIBLE, hazardous to development, and DANGEROUS. They don't communicate, they do not log, they do not have sympathy for the children or empathy for the parents. They do not care. Please - one loving mother to another - AVOID THIS FACILITY AT ALL COSTS!! My son is now in an amazing day care where he is excited to go every day! His behavior has changed so much from when he was at Tutor Time. I am full of guilt for even allowing my son to step foot into Tutor Time on 7th Street and Bell road. WE WILL NOT BE SILENCED. We have pictures that will be posted if neccessary. My son has gained 6lbs since leaving their care. He is speaking more, he is sharing more, he is HAPPIER. PLEASE - if your child is already enrolled, REMOVE THEM! I PROMISE you will see a positive difference in your child. *I know this was a long read, but PLEASE, do not take the risk. All of the negative reviews are true. Please put your beautiful babies in a safe, clean, kind enviornment where they are treated how they should be* God bless each and every one of you. We scheduled a tour for same day and went in to check out the pre school for when our son turns 2. As other pre schools have waitlists, we decided to start looking early (he's one). This center doesn't have a waitlist however, we got there and we did not feel the director to be personable at all. We walk inside and I'm holding my son who doesn't walk yet by the way. And one of the first things she says to us is that he should have shoes on. After asking us if he walks yet and me letting her know he does not, we live right up the road, and his shoes are in the car. We planned to hold him the whole time during the tour and did. Son has a dairy allergy. was told we can't bring in oat milk because of nut allergies. I understand nut milks. But oat?!? Maybe they don't know that it's not a nut? We have toured a handful of schools by now and this didn't feel like a tour. She briefly went over "how" they learn and what the structure is sort of like. We stood in one hallway. We didn't see where the kids play, what the classrooms were like inside, etc. Felt rude and cold. we felt judged the whole time, mind you, we can send our son to any school and just wanted to see everything that's out there!! Give ourselves options. We learned that this will not be where we send our 2 year old in a year. I hope others have better experiences here. read more

Take the time and read this: This being 1 parent to another. This includes my opinion and the story of what happened in our time enrolled at this location. My daughter went here when she was 6 weeks old. The staff was too "afraid" to hold my child because she was small. In the course of her being there the staff: wiped her back to front, fed her the wrong breast milk (yes you read that correctly), would use other kids diapers on her(even though I specifically stick with a certain diaper/wipe duo due to skin sensitivity's), dropped her (she had a softball size knot on the center of her forehead) and then would scold me every time I came in to get my child on how to properly parent at home. The deal breaker was when I picked my child up and her brand new black pants were discolored because my child was in contact with bleach. This is the worst option for childcare and I would suggest..no I am TELLING you to look else where. Reviews are important and this is a review to consider. Do not take your child to this daycare. Do not consider calling them to see prices. I would NEVER recommend anything about this daycare besides it being shut down. And that's a parent who is so blown away by the actions of this daycare.. this is nothing compared to what should be written about this place. 1 Star is the lowest option available but honestly, 1 star is being generous. read more

I went back to work after maternity leave and my husband and I did not come to the choice of daycare lightly. My daughter would be spending the majority of her time at one of these places and we wanted to make sure we made the best decision for her and for us. We ended up touring 3 other places before deciding on Tutor Time. On the initial tour, we were greeted with smiling faces and with lots of information. Everything was all laid out and if we had any questions we were able to contact them. My daughter has been attending this Tutor Time for about 9 months now. Since day one, my daughter has had the best care, lots of attention, and actually gets excited to go to "school." The care takers in the infant room have been awesome to my daughter and very helpful, since this is my first child and I'm a bit clueless. The new staff and new director are all super friendly and helpful. The director is very passionate about what she's doing and it shows. All I have to do is communicate with the staff (ether via brightwheel app, email or in person) and they are able to assist me with any questions I may have. I would definitely recommend this location to any of my friends and family. read more

I will NEVER, EVER, take my child to a Tutor Time, nor will I recommend one to any friends or family. Let me start off by saying this is all very much true, not exaggerated at all. PLEASE DO NOT TAKE YOUR CHILDREN HERE. My son was in the 12month-18month room here for 3.5 WEEKS in 2014. In that time... 1) He got pink eye TWICE and was sick all but 1 week. I get that kids get sick from daycare but that was overboard for me. He was sick once the entire 6 months he was at another daycare before we moved and had to enroll him here. 2) He was bit, twice. I get that kids get bit but what really pisses me off is that the first time they didn't even notice and tell me about it! My son literally came home with broken skin and a bruised arm. I noticed and called immediately and the assistant director tried to tell me I was wrong! Um.... I could see the kids teeth marks and I know darn well his dad and I did not drop him off like that. And he bled and probably cried...how do the teachers not notice that!!!? My son still has the scar! 3) I walked in one time and saw a toddler standing on a low bookshelf. None of the teachers even noticed! 4) Every day I picked up my son (NO JOKE) there was at least one kid with snot running down their face. No wonder my child was sick all the time! 5) The younger "teachers" in the 18month+ class are worthless! They do not love AT ALL and cannot soothe an upset child. And, on multiple occasions, I heard them YELLING at kids to "get off the table, get off the chair, etc." while I was walking down the hallway. 6) The center missed my son's prescription med administration multiple times. Sometimes they forgot, and other times there was a miscommunication between the front staff and the teachers in his room. 7) I was also warned by one of the other mothers that the teachers in the 18month-2t room were worthless. She too was getting her child out of there. This place was horrible. My son was only a year old when he was there and he was absolutely miserable. The day he started at a new daycare it was like picking up a brand new child. No more crying and clinging to me when I dropped him off, not one pink eye since (it's been 6 months), and he's been back to his normal, happy self. Consider yourself warned. read more

I give this facility one star for some of its "teachers". My daughter attended Tutor Time for about 3 months and in that time she contracted impetigo,hand foot mouth, fasciitis, bronchitis and had a stomach bug about every other week. I wouldn't send her to school when she came down with an illness and the director would swear to me that no one else had called to say their child had a similar/same illness, well no sh*t- those kids were still coming to scho because working parents need daycare. I was told she'd be placed in an older class room because she was advanced for her age, yet at each pick up she was in with babies who apparently only knew how to cry. She was over two at the time. She did really take to one of the teachers there, Kiki, and when we drive by she will ask about her now, she's currently 4 years old. I was very happy when my daughter was old enough to get into a play based preschool that has cleanliness standards and really looks at each student for who they are and what they are capable of. We never felt that way at Tutor Time....and we don't have to go to the doctor every week now either so that's good. read more
