The people were nice, the yogurt tasted better and they had more flavors, but very similar toppings. The price was also very close to what red mango charges but I wish we had this closer to home. Not a fan.... Pretty much a trendy rip off of TCBY. Many friends an family, including my girlfriend rave about this place but I fail to see the appeal. Flavors are bland but at least there is a fair variety of toppings to choose from including fresh fruit. Every time i went here during the day the parking was horrible ! given it is in a popular spot. Went here once at 1155 and they told me they were closed. i mean i don't live around long beach and i was in the area so i thought i would stop in... i told them this and they still refused to let me in. So on my way home from work yesterday, I calledup Ginos to get a chopped salad (one of the few things I actually like at ginos and will eat every day) but they screwed up my order, never placed it, and left me hungry and annoyed. Whats the perfect way to remedy that? duh, frozen yogurt. I'd rather drive from Queens for this than to go to any of the local Red Mangos or other froyo spots around. It's that good. Great selection of rotating flavors and toppings, good price. Parking is easy and almost unlimited if you turn in to Edwards Blvd off of Park Ave. Park Ave is almost always full. Perfect to take with you to the boardwalk or for a snack after hanging out on the boardwalk. They've also recently started selling local coffee...I'll have to pick up a pound next time in here. read more

Holy smokey this place is no jokey. Past this place going to Five Guys but on the way back my wife wanted "something sweet". I seem to always hear that after we eat. Get the flavor called just "Tutti Frutti". It looks dark pink in the picture but mine was much lighter. Eat it plain or with minimal toppings - it really doesn't require any. Probably my all-around favorite flavor of froyo across all froyo chains . It's vividly refreshing...subtle peach and strawberry combination. read more

Went here after a leisurely walk along the boardwalk. Great selection of fro yo favors - they have taro! The banana-soy peanut butter swirl was awesome. There are always a great selection of yogurt flavors and even the flavors they carry to accommodate for dietary restrictions are delicious (sugar free, fat free, dairy free/soy, etc.). They have a great variety of the typical toppings (sprinkles, sauces), and have an awesome selection of all types of candy, chocolate, cookies, etc. It is very clean and well-kept. There is indoor and outdoor seating. Any leftovers I've had have kept very well in the freezer. read more

I have four kids and whenever we ask the kids where they want to go for a treat it is either Marvel Ice Cream in Lido (super $) or Tutti Frutti (less expensive AND it has the fun do-it-yourself factor)......I personally love the fat free, sugar free vanilla with some crushed butterfinger and crunchies (like in a Carvel cake) ...... it's priced by weight and it's just sooooo good ! Finally! A place that can satisfy my pallet and my girlfriend. I can't tell you how happy this place makes my wallet. I love coming here. It is a self serve joint so make it how you like it. If you get it wrong it is your fault and will have to try something different next time. Normally there is someone by the yogurt bar to help with a sample but the few times no one was there I asked and someone came right over! They do have some amazing flavors but for the most part I stick to the same few selections based on personal choice. The only thing holding me back from giving them all 5 stars is because they have had the same flavors for a long time and don't really mix it up too much. BTW.... I ordered a mango smoothie expecting it to taste like mangos as the title would imply. I took one sip and was overwhelmed by banana. When I asked for it to be replaced sans banana, I was rebuffed by the manager. "Didn't I know there was bananas in it?" No, it was not mentioned on the menu as an ingredient and I had never been here previously. "Now that I sipped it, the drink couldn't be reused." "I was wasting $7.00 of their money." I'm concerned they would even consider reselling a smoothie after already giving it to another customer and what about my $7.00 that they wasted? I am OBSESSED with this place. I am not an ice cream person. I am not a frozen yogurt person. But holy cow, Tutti Frutti blows my mind. I personally love the cake batter fro yo. I cannot tell the difference between that and Coldstone's cake batter. I assume it has a lot less calories than Coldstone. The toppings bar is endless. As a self-procclaimed frozen yogurt addict, I really enjoy this place. Every flavor Ive had so far has been really yummy (except for the red velvet, which I was disappointed with). The overall decor is nice and usually kept really clean & taken care of. The cups are oversized, but as are most frozen yogurt places like this. Cheap owner. the guy closes the store in the middle of the day during their 1 year anniversary. they ran a sale saying 1.00 cups of frozen yogurt however when we got there they said they were closed because the place got too messy and will re open at 4 pm and there will be a percentage off the cups. if you re open at 4 pm fine BUT still do what the sale says and sell for 1.00 a cup . the sale said that a percentage would be taken off after 4 pm but wouldnt it make sense since he was the one who decided to close that the 1.00 sale would still be going on. what you lost too much money that one day?! its an anniversary sale , you made it up , stick with it! dont close in the middle of the day cause you feel you arent earning enough of a profit. Also , listen this guy made a FAKE best of long island sign, he got 2nd place not 1st and made a different color sign than what the real ones are and stuck it on his window, what a loser. Also on a different day the owner (older guy with whitish hair) looked at my and my wife funny when we simply asked for another punch card to combine this one with because we forgot our other one. sorry about taking an extra card that costed you a penny. news flash....these only help you NOT hurt you. I have been to Tutti Frutti about 5 times and every time I've gone I have loved it. Yes there are times it's a bit crowded, but it's well worth it. I don't always sit because I buy and run but I have found a seat when I've wanted to sit. I've always had courteous service from all the young women and others that work there. I even follow them on FB so I know what flavors they'll have that day and see if it's worth a trip to LB. I love that you can try all the flavors most have been great a few ugh not our taste but there is a variety. They always have chocolate and vanilla and even NSA (no sugar added sweetened with splenda) chocolate and vanilla...they taste great! My daughter's fave is cake batter, she adds caramel sauce, and other kids' type toppings. I love peanut butter (even the soybean peanut butter is good) and coffee (and soybean latte is pretty good too). I've tried taro root which is decent considering it's a root :) I took my mom who's a skeptic on froyo and she LOVED the pineapple, mango sherbet, and coconut...it was a delish mix! I like the fact that they are always cleaning up, keeping the toppings stocked and what a variety they have! They have fresh fruit, nuts, sauces, and all the sugar goodies kids love. They have bananas too you just have to ask for it, great idea considering bananas get nasty once they sit out for too long. I can't wait to try the almond and watermelon. I've tried TCBY which is okay and Red Mango which every flavor we all tried, we hated. I think this place has the best froyo around! read more
