We entered the absolutely adorable tiny shop and perused the various flavors offered. The friendly, kind, and helpful girl behind the counter told us about how they have many more flavors they alternate. I found that exciting, and definitely a first incentive for me to return again. My friend and I tasted a couple different flavors and then made our selections. She got a medium waffle cone with espresso and panna cotta. I also got a medium waffle cone but with panna cotta and pistachio. The flavors all meshed nicely together, and the texture was creamy and delightful. It comes down to appearance, taste, texture (love a good bite; should not be mealy), chew, and substance. I'm pleased to report that Saint Germain satisfied my sweet (French) tooth. After the sampler, I was done desserting. Yep, sampler. Why settle for one flavor when you can try them all? Well, six. Six. I tried six. And each one was excellent. The staffer was patient and helpful in leading me to a mix that would satisfy my desire to be a bit broad in my tastes but never traveling too far from sweet. Savory is not the move when it comes to these treats. My journey to France by way of Atlanta started with chocolate then went to raspberry violette (what???) then I went to the circus with cotton candy. I got a bit traditional with salted caramel, stayed there with nutella and finished up with creme brulee. When I tell you each macaron was better than the first... wow. You definitely get what you pay for -- so this wouldn't be an everyday splurge but... when you get a hankering pay for the real deal. Your tastebuds will thank you. If you're gonna go, go all in. We were expecting brewed tea and not just a tea bag especially for the price, hence the 4 stars instead of 5. We also ordered the peach tart which was delicious! It had a decent peach flavor to it and the top part of the peach had an ice cream texture to it. Would recommend ordering one of their pastries! Service was decent. We received our orders quickly. There is plenty of seating near the cafe and throughout the hall. There is also parking in a big lot connected to the hall.

A major warning to anyone planning to visit: You need to research exactly how to order here ahead of time. If you don't know exactly what you want the second you step up, you will end up holding up the line, and the staff does not have the patience for it. As for the ice cream itself, it was actually good. We ordered the chocolate and vanilla soft serve, as well as the matcha soft serve topped with corn flake streusel. They have a lot of really interesting toppings on the menu, we saw things like Cheez-It brittle that looked unique, but we didn't end up trying them because we just wanted to finish our order and get out of the uncomfortable environment.
