Tuxedo Den was AMAZING !! We went for our wedding to pick out a rental for the groom and groomsmen and let me tell you it was fantastic. The staff was incredibly helpful, allowed me to ask all the questions I needed and also gave advice on certain elements to make the event more the vibe I was going for which was Formal. We ended up renting 6 suits from this company and they turned out amazing. The entire rental comes with everything you need for that day including socks and cuff links. The pick up process was extremely easy as well, just walk in and there is a bag with your name attached ready for you whenever you there. I also don't know if this is common knowledge but there is a deal if you purchase enough rentals one becomes free ! The total ended up being very reasonable with the purchase of 5 suits, it was less then what you would get anywhere else and we tried different places before we settled on Tuxedo Den. ordered TWO MONTHS in advanced, the order showed up the day before event (cuz the order wasn't placed until 2 day prior to event). They boast 'true fit' - NOT TRUE, the jacket was too small, had to take the jacket off the mannequin, luckily it fit. A friend was there at the same time and they did NOT get their shirt or tie. When checking it back in, they grabbed it and walked away. No receipt, no verification.. NOTHING. WE WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THIS PLACE.. Setup an appt with person at this location and they ended up setting up an appt in Sacramento and only found out when arriving at the location after driving an hour and calling them. After talking to someone claiming to the manager. They were able to reschedule the appt. But refused to do anything about the inconvenience and seemed more than happy to see us go. Saying, "glad we are in the beginning stages and you can view your other options". Rather push a problem they caused away rather than sort it out and make the customer happy. read more

My husband and I were here a few weeks ago looking to get a tux. This was our first time renting something like this, so we both were a bit clueless! When we went in, we were immediately greeted by a friendly young lady! She was incredibly sweet and helpful throughout the entire process. We explained we were new to this and we apologize in advance for all the annoying questions we are going to throw her way. She was very patient, and took her time with us! Worst experience ... ever!!!!! They don't return calls. they gave us the wrong color vest the day of prom!!!!!! ANDREA said she would make it right. She never called back.....did say a couple hours before prom she could get the right vest. We don't live in yuba city so it did no good. they had the order attached to the tux so they knew it was wrong..... then the day of returning she said no refund and it was my fault for not coming to get a new vest. She said she can't do anything for us to make it right when the day of the prom she said she would make sure she would but then again never called us back. Came back and been waiting in line almost 40 minutes and was told to keep standing because he needed to "changes in his system." Got awesome service and an unique look from the gentlemen working there. I needed an all white tux but didn't want to be all white. Could use colors either. After 30 mins of looking and looking employee 30046(according to my receipt) hooked me up with ivory on white! I looked amazing and the contrast of ivory and white will be the next big thing! AWFUL! We rented from them for my wedding this past weekend and had nothing but problems. Even the employee said that he was ready to quit due to their lack of organization. We got the wrong color and size of things more than once. And they wouldn't admit to their mistake even when I showed them my original order form and receipt. We ordered three months ahead of time and in the last two days before the wedding we had to go back to the store well over ten times because they didn't have the full order, forgot something, or gave us the wrong size or color. They made us wait in the store for almost two hours the first time we went to pick everything up while they were mingling in the back only to come tell us nothing was there and we needed to come back the next day. read more

Have to go here because it's the closest thing in town. I was let down the first time. They were 2 hours late on the tuxedo, and when it came it was the WRONG colors! They then had to sent the right colors on a truck coming from Sacramento and I had to wait another 2 hours on the day of prom! We ended up getting $40 back because of the mess. My original review was removed for "not enough details" so here we go again. My 17 year old son had coupon to use for a tux rental for his senior prom. He went into the Yuba City location. They accepted a deposit from him without ever telling him the rental price or any details. He'd never rented a tux on his own & didn't realized he was supposed to look at options & prices & decide what he wanted. We sent him back to the store to get prices & details about rental options. They brushed him off & wouldn't tell him the information he wanted because they said he'd already reserved a certain tux type (which he never even picked out!) & they were no longer sure if that coupon was good for that rental. Grr. So my husband tried to call them to straighten it all out & they kept saying they'd look into it & get back to him. Nobody would help us with pricing or options!!! They repeatedly said we needed to talk to someone who wasn't there that day, so they'd get back to us, only nobody ever did! We finally called the Roseville store, where we received surprisingly excellent customer service & they were able to tell us all out options & help us decide the best fit for our needs. They even had the deposit transferred to their store for us. I had to drive down to the Roseville store to pick it up, but it was worth it to deal with people who were knowledgable & happy to help. I was very pleased. The woman who helped me suggested that I save myself a trip back to Roseville by returning it at the Yuba City store. I figured the employees at the Yuba City store certainly couldn't mess up a simple return, but they did! I walked in & was ignored for so long that I almost walked out & drove back to Roseville. Finally someone begrudgingly asked if I was returning. I said yes. To which he replied, "Hang it over there" & pointed to a hanging rack. Then he walked away! I finally got his attention again & asked for some sort of proof that I returned all the items. He opened the bag, pulled out the rental agreement tag from inside & without looking at any of the items, scribbled a couple circles on it & handed it to me. Then he sarcastically said, "Are you happy with that?" Then he walked away to help someone else. And the answer is...Nope, not happy. Not happy about any of it!!! read more

So disappointed. We stayed local for the prom and actually thought Carl was very nice when we went in to get measured. Unfortunately, no one called to let us know the tux was in and no one returned our call after we left a message. We picked the tux up and the jacket barely fit and there were no cuff links with the tuxedo. The worst problem, however was the help the evening that we picked up. There was a large amount of cussing and inappropriate behavior by store employees. Many unhappy customers in the store trying to get what they needed for prom. Utter chaos to be honest. I got my tux for my wedding there and went there again for my brothers wedding the girls there were very helpful, helped out my brother who was getting married and me along with all the groomsmen they let us know when our tuxes were in to try them on. Stopped into this Tuxedo Den location recently to check to see if they carried a color vest I had been looking for. A lady whom worked there took down my name and phone number and said she would check into it and give me a call the following day The next couple days came and went. I still hadn't heard back from anyone so I decided to give them a call myself. The same lady answered the phone and told me they did not have the color I was looking for. It would have been nice to not be left hanging. If a business says they are going to check on something for you and give you a call, they should follow through! I am not taking my business here and would not recommend it to anyone. If you have the flexibility, the Tuxedo Den in Redding is by far more helpful and friendly! read more

Do NOT go here. Awful customer service with zero problem solving skills! My husband told me to go to men's warehouse to rent tuxes for our wedding, and I should have listened. The incompetent employees failed to enter one of the groomsman's current sizes into the computer system (he had been in the store years prior and they had his old measurements on file). This resulted in a tux that was too small. They told me that they didn't have any tuxes in his size and couldn't have one available in time for our wedding! I had 8 colors to match and we were able to find vests, bowties and suspenders to match all my bridesmaids plus, she even had socks! THIS BRANCH SHOULD NOT BE IN BUSINESS!!! DO NOT GO TO RENT A TUX FROM THEM! We have had nothing but problems with them. We placed our orders on time and had to take the initiative and stay on top of them to get our orders in time. And we STILL did not get our orders on time and almost all of them had wrong measurements or something wrong with them. They're extremely unprofessional and unorganized. The staff and even the management do not take responsibility for their errors even when our original orders prove we are correct. They even had the audacity to blame us, their customers, about data entry problems!!!!!! It is now 2 days before my wedding and my groom still does not have his tux!
