I hired him today for my daughters 1 year birthday party. I had 35-40 people. I paid my deposit weeks ago and Thursday evening the address and date/ time was confirmed. He was scheduled for today at 1:30pm. Today at 2:15pm I had no missed calls/texts from him. I called and text him and once I finally got a hold of him I was told he wasn't coming. This is so disappointing to explain to children and the fact that he couldn't even send a quick text or call is very upsetting and unprofessional. I would never recommend his services to anyone. Since 2007 I have produced a large annual family-friendly event at our local mall and have hired Jimmy and his wife Chandra to do balloons and face painting at this event since 2013. The event and activities are free for families, so it gets extremely busy, and we have found Jimmy and Chandra to be patient, kind and highly experienced in working with crowds and families and keeping kids entertained. Plus, their skills and art always delight the kids! I have seen Jimmy at other events where he also brings his high level of professionalism and fun. Plus, he and Chandra are great to work with behind the scenes, very gracious and good communicators. I highly recommend hiring Jimmy for any event, and we hope to work with him for many more years to come! read more

What an awful experience and terrible communication of expectations. I took my kids to an event where they could get balloon animals. There was no sign saying you needed a number ticket to get a balloon and the ticket dispenser was off to the side, on the inside of the line, and not very visible. I was in line for several minutes (with more people getting in line behind me) before I knew about the tickets. Luckily I overhead the booth next to us talking about tickets.mind you, they were different vendors from him and not their responsibility to inform people. The mother at the booth was very kind to give me her extra ticket when she saw how far I already was in line. After 30 minutes of waiting we finally made it up there for him to hassle me about tickets, get snippy with me to tell him what my kids want (also his balloon options were on the floor in front of his table blocked by the line), only to lose patience and yell to everyone in line he'd only be making swords and hearts. 4 recommendations: 1. Get a mic and speaker so people can hear over the sound of a busy mall with music, 2. Get a sign visible indicating you need to pull a ticket, 3. Put the ticket dispenser on the outside where it's actually accessible, and 4. Put your balloon option sign up higher where people in line can see. read more

Absolutely disgusted how you are okay making kids cry because you are done. DO NOT COME TO A CHILDREN FESTIVAL and then have some parent who didn't tell anyone that the line ended with her and then be rude and not help the other kids. What a disgusting business and you shouldn't be one dealing with children let alone a children's festival. Especially when you want to leave 15 minutes early. Shame on you! read more

I hired Tuxedo Jimmy to entertain a room full of cub scouts and he was amazing! Things got crazy, but Jimmy handled it with ease and was a huge hit! He even gave a mini balloon dog making lesson which the kids loved. From an organizer stand-point, both he and his wife (behind the scenes scheduler and a possible add-on face-painter) were absolutely fantastic to work with! Their communication was very fast and they were extremely easy to work with. Easy to schedule, easy to specify what we needed/wanted, and easy to work with in general which was very much appreciated. Everyone at our event was impressed by their work and raved about them throughout the night. We hired Jimmy and his wife Chandra for our company picnic this past weekend and they were absolutely amazing. They took the time to make sure every child had a balloon or their face painting done, even as they were packing up a few children came in late and they took the time to make sure the little girls got designs as well. Jimmy was so fun with the kids and it was great that he brought his music. The balloon twist designs were phenomenal and everybody there loved them. Chandra was amazing at face painting, every child looked so cute with the design on their face. We highly recommend Jimmy and Chandra for your next event, what a wonderful husband and wife team. Tuxedo Jimmy stole the show at my sons 3rd birthday party. The adults loved him as much as the kids. He never stopped moving ,joking, entertaining even when it was 90 degrees out! Crazy! The balloons were amazing, especially the minion balloon and giant wearable car my son continues to drive around the house. Highly recommend him. Professional, easy going personality, talented.
