This is an old style barber shop with regulars who come in and chat for a while, people who know each other, and where banter is tossed about without much worry of offending others. I loved it. They take cash or check, though they took an IOU from me since I didn't have either. Afterward I went down the street to the bank and got cash to go back and pay my barber. Sherman is the only one who does shaves and he greeted me with a warm smile. After some small talk, he started the process. I had watched a few videos on YouTube so I knew what to expect. I've been to this location twice and both times I felt rushed both in my haircut and pedicure. The pedicure for example started 20 minutes late and she rushed to get it done so the next client (husband and wife) could be started on time. They don't actually care about the clients just money and getting as many through as possible.
