Both staff and the Doctor are excellent at what they do. I had a reoccurring issue with my eyesight a few years ago and Dr. Sakovits was beyond understanding and sensitive to my needs, highlighting all of my options to better my sight and therefore, my life. Both staff and Doctor are continuously lovely and exhibit a professional manner when I'm there. Appointments are made efficiently and promptly by reception staff, there is very little to no wait time, (10 - 15 mins, tops), the Dr.'s Assistants are always competent and friendly as is the Doctor himself. Frankly, giving an entire team/staff at a business the lowest review rate possible, based upon a mere phone conversation is hardly fair, and it is in FACT an "over generalization" of Dr. Sakovits' office, that is erroneous and false. Simply because you were unhappy with one aspect of the service, hardly warrants a rant because you did not mesh well with the secretary. I'm sure many who are continuous patients of Dr. Sakovits would agree that Sonia, as well as the rest of the crew at the office. are beyond friendly and helpful. But don't take my word for it. Friendly, knowledgeable, and extremely thorough. The office is pleasant, clean, organized, and stocked with all the latest gadgetry to give your eyeballs a comprehensive examination. I've needed hearing aids for pretty much my entire life, but resisted them until 6 years ago when…read moremy former employer told me to go get a hearing test and an estimate on hearing aids. I resisted some more since I'm self sufficient, but in all honesty, I was tired of not being able to follow a conversation, missing a word and having no clue what was going on and living in a partially silent world.. so I made the appointment and went. The entire staff was excellent, from the entire office staff, to Dr Freedman who I saw first to make sure my ears were healthy and that hearing aids would help me, then after that I met with the audiologist, Joseph Weisberger who was awesome.. I have really bad anxiety and he was very nice and patient, gave me the hearing test and the bad news that yes.. I definitely needed hearing aids, but the choices now are so much better than they were when I was 10 and got them for the first time and refused to wear them so my parents returned them.. this time I made the attempt to get used to them, and was finally able to hear in formerly silent world. I had several visits to adjust hearing aids, but it only took me a few days to get used to them.. 2 weeks ago I had to go back after dropping one. I figured it would either be an easy fix or I'd need new ones.. thankfully for me, it was an easy fix. After getting the repair done, Joseph again took the time to make sure I was happy with the level of hearing and I actually left there feeling like I'd gotten new hearing aids and can even hear the rain on the roof right now.. I would recommend this office and the Middletown office to anyone.. beyond excellent service and staff!
