We have used TWFG for several years both personal and business. Our account managers have dropped the ball multiple times. We switched cars and emailed the info to agent but he never switched to new car. It was a 400k car thankfully nothing happened. We also have a business account and the policy lapsed on multiple properties and we were never notified by our account rep for months! If one burned down then we would be out a tremendous set back. Now I went to get car inspected and the policy they sent me in December for a new Escalade has been expired since Jan. Why would they give us 1 month! And this was a new account rep . They manage multiple houses and cars .. no longer..Horrible. read more

Upon seeking insurance for a commercial property I decided to call several folks I found on the internet, mainly google and yelp. Carlos quickly returned my call and got us going. I needed the insurance quickly so I talked to a few folks, getting several quotes. Carlos was one of the first to get back with me with an excellent quote! And I do say EXCELLENT quote. The higher ends of the quotes were $5k with many of them arriving in the $2k range. Carlos got it for around $1k! I quickly moved on this so we could close on the office building. I was also buying a house so I could live closer to my new, shiny office. To close on the house insurance is also needed so it was an easy decision to give Carlos' company a shot. In addition to my new house, I went ahead and got insurance on the old house (which I'm keeping to rent) along with my cars. He introduced me to Derek, who was just as quick at getting the quote. This time I only got quotes from two folks, TFWG Insurance and another company recommended by my agent... I suppose I got the second quote out of habit but TFWG sold me from the first transaction. Again, TFWG came through with a great quote. Though it was around the amount as the insurance company recommended by my agent, it was an easy decision to go with TFWG because 1) its nice to keep my insurance with the same company and 2) TFWG had the best price, and 3) they were EASY to work with. From the beginning Carlos and Derek were professional, lightening quick (which was important because of the time sensitivity of closing on two properties), completely competent, and just a class act! Guys, I really enjoyed working with you and once things settle down in a few months we should talk about getting quotes for my businesses :) read more

Awful Awful Awful!!!! I told them to cancel my insurance policy and they waited 3 weeks before they put it through. Then I got a letter in the mail stating I owed the insurance company money. When I called to figure out what was going on they said they had no proof and I would have to pay it. Terrible Insurance agent, terrible service. read more

STAY AWAY!!!!!! Don't be fooled by their low rates. We have been customers for over 5 years & never filed a claim until a recent major hurricane hit. We had major roof & drywall damage as a result. The company sent 3 different adjusters (after our complaints) & each said totally different things and each left out several important items in need of repair. We had to call many times, often with no response for weeks, just to get any information. They are very secretive about the adjuster's reports and will claim normal wear & tear for repairs that should be covered by them. Needless to say we are no longer customers!!!!!!!!... read more

If you get in an accident BEWARE of CARLOS CANTU who says he is the owner of this particular agency. I was a victim in a hit & run by one of TWFG's client's driver. Trusting that business would be properly eradicated once I got a hold of a agent from the driver that hit me was a BIG mistake. This guy here who claims to be the owner, tried to get me a check cut after four days of calling him w/ only one estimates. He wanted me to get the estimates myself and only with the pictures that I had. Most body shops require for you to bring the car in, which cost. Our conversations were rushed by his ego. Every time we spoke I had to call this place. He never called me back and never gave me a claim number, telling me that his client wanted to settle out of his own pocket because his deductible was too high. Why is that even any of my business? I just want my car fixed & a rental car while I'm waiting. When I told him I have a police report he rudely told me, "a police report doesn't matter". He was very defensive as if he did not want a (HIT & RUN) claim filed under his agency. He must have not known he had the wrong person to play with. When I opted to come up to his business to get things promptly handled, he told me that wasn't necessary. I wonder why? I found after doing research of my own that this agency was under Liberty Mutual. When I suggested that I will go through Liberty if he was not going to properly assist me he told me that I couldn't do that. What a crock, because as soon as I hung up I filed a claim through them within minutes with no hassle at all. In fact Liberty was very apologetic for me having to encounter such unprofessional behavior from an agent. Oh excuse me, I mean "owner". This guy carelessly misrepresented his client & his professionalism trying to be slick. I would not trust this guy to handle my business simply because when you're doing something right, it should not feel forced or of obligation to settle. You as an agent, manager, owner, or whatever you want to be called should fire yourself and not play with serious people's time & money. More importantly you played with a kind persons patience.
