Our fragrance specialist (i made that title up) Natasha was the sweetest and she was extremely helpful when my friend wasn't confident about the scents she was developing. Natasha guided her and gave her suggestions of what she could add, take away and use more or less of until she came out with multiple products she loved. We look forward to our next visit.

It fun to stop in and smell all the candles. Tip-take them outside to get a real sense of what they smell like. They must have over 100 different candles! You will definitely find one or more that you love. I got the snicker doodle cookie one. Heaven! The candles are all handmade on site. The adorable little store is also packed full of wonderful gift ideas. Don't know what to get someone? Get them a hand made candle, and support a local business. All the artwork, for sale, in the store is made by local artists.

It's located in Seminole Heights around some of my other favorite small businesses. Parking was easy on the street, but they also have a lot behind the store. The shop was clean and airy and inviting, and I was shocked by how many great products they sold. I love that they are zero waste and you can bring in your own containers. I'll be sure to check out their detergent, soaps and shampoo bar once I've used up my current products. I did pick up a clay face mask that I can't wait to try. It was a little bit on the pricier side at $25, but I liked the simple ingredients and wanted to support this great store concept. Also, they had a really cute area with their oils where you can make your own perfume ($29.99) or fill your own car freshener vials. I'll definitely be bringing friends back to do that together. They had such a wide range of products like body wash, natural toothpaste, face masks, candles, handmade soaps, and more. Everything is either refillable or handmade, and the ingredients were super clean, which I really appreciate. You can tell a lot of thought goes into what they stock. It didn't feel like just another store; it felt like someone's passion project. When we went to check out, the person at the counter (I think he was the owner) was so genuinely warm and welcoming. He asked if it was our first time in and took the time to walk us through how the store works and what they're all about. No pressure, no upselling, just someone who really cares about what he's doing and wants you to feel comfortable. This place is amazing…read more I love plants but am a bit of a plant serial killer. I can't tell you how many lovely green friends I've gone through throughout the years. I try, but I fail. I really put my best effort but always tend to over love them. I found Wild Roots and immediately fell in love with the place. I spoke to the girl who immediately greeted me. Told her about my love of plants and my murderous ways and she graciously walked me through the plants she thought I'd be good with. She took her time and made sure I had a good understanding on the watering needs as well as the sun desires of these lovely things So I took my time, walked around, and found 1 plant to call my own. I could have bought an entire forest worth but I wanted to make sure I was able to take care of the one I had before I slaughtered their entire inventory. So far so good my plant is still alive. I've been listening to the advice I was given and I can't wait to go back and something else to add to my apartment to make my home feel even more green.
