My son is 7 turning 8 haircuts make him CRY all the time! I told him last haircut 3 months ago I would find him a new barbershop! So I came past you fb posting and saw the kids cut. So I brought my son in I was VERY SCARED! The first thing he asked me "Daddy are you sure these people know how to cut kids hair?" I didn't want a bad haircut or wanted him to cry again! Not only did I get the haircut I wanted but passed what I thought I would get! My baby yes he is my baby did not cry I saw him smiling so much that I had to walk out the shop cause I almost was in tears myself!! These words are hard to explain about the way I feel about him and what he thinks. He also told me that's the only place he wants to go to his haircut from now on! I've been coming to this barbershop for 20 years. PJ I actually cut my hair on my wedding day. For kids later all of my sons and I continue to visit this barber shop for a great haircut and a great community experience. They are always stocked with brand-name sodas coffee and video games for the kids while we wait. They go out of your way to find a great balance of comfort and compliance to Covid rules during the pandemic. Myself and three children have all received haircuts at Twin Arch. All were great. Shana was very pleasant and made sure she understood how we wanted our haircuts. We also had Bo at one visit and she was equally as good. I've watched how all the barbers treat the customers when I've been in there and can honestly say they all seem very friendly and professional. Don't think there's a bad one in the bunch. Probably one of the best haircuts of my life. PJ is a hair master. Whenever I went to the Hair Cuttery or SportClips, it never turned out like I was hoping it would. I visit here once every 3 weeks and you are always greeted with a friendly hello and it's usually always busy, which in the business world, means you must be doing pretty well. PJ does an awesome job. I've been looking for a spot closer to me than my usual, and this place didn't disappoint. Got a hard part which I've never done before and it looks great. Unfortunately this spot doesn't accept appointments or credit payments, but the wait was not bad at all, and there's an ATM a few doors down. Definitely going back to this place. read more

I was referred here from a friend and had PJ for my first visit this week and I can honestly say it is the best bang for your buck. Not only was PJ a master with the clippers but he is as funny and genuine as it gets. He makes you feel comfortable and will have you laughing the entire time. This is a great little barbershop. I've grown up in Mount Airy and I've been going here for hair cuts as long as I can remember. The same folks have been working here for as long as I can remember too. I normally wait for PJ or George for my cut. They usually have a little bit of a wait but it's well worth it. And had really thick long hair and we wanted it cut short Tricia treated her so well and gave her such a great haircut. I highly recommend her to anyone she is the best.
