The care was good both times, but it's still $100 for a basic check up, and both times it took a long time to be seen. So a 5 minute visit with the vet ended up taking an hour, just with the waiting. I called around to about 8 different dog walkers and I thought the others were either over priced or they didn't return calls right away or other red flags. Molly has been nothing but my dog's favorite thing since day 1! She leaves me notes telling me if my pooch went to the bathroom, what they did, etc. Molly had to come by my new place to get keys and it was the first time in about a year that I saw them together. OMG- my dog l-o-v-e-s her. It was fun to see the bond that they now have after her visiting him about one time per week over a year. Metro Pets and More is highly recommended- very reliable, loving towards pets and reasonably priced.

The flexibility to be able to cancel days via text or email with short notice because I'll be working from home, etc is also another bonus. Metro Pets was the only service we could find that would visit our house in the Camden area of North Minneapolis, so props to them for that. The only thing I wish they did different was how payments are made. You have to leave a week's worth of money out at your home at beginning of the week. If you don't pay in cash you get charged a 7.7% tax rate at end of the quarter. At $15/day or $900 every 3 months that comes to $70 in tax. We're leaving cash out right now, but it's inconvenient to remember to run to the ATM every Sunday night and remember to leave the envelope out.

I'm retired now and no longer need doggie daycare for work, but will still bring Sammy here to play for 1/2 day or full day care at least once or twice a week. He loves the staff and when I pick him up after play they hug and cuddle him goodbye. He gets so much needed playtime and his social skills with other dogs are great! I've recommended Silver Dog to my friends. I have several family and friends who bring their dog here. As for the staff, they are so nice and I feel like they're more friends than business acquaintances.

I had such a negative experience at this clinic. I went here for a dental cleaning for my cat and…read moresigned up for the care plan to assist with costs. I had been told by her other vet that the problems she was having could be due to needing a teeth cleaning. During the week of her initial visit with this clinic her breathing sounded congested. Long story short she had cancer and ended up passing away. I came to this clinic 3 times in the span of two weeks. Friday 7/3, At the initial visit I made a follow up appointment to complete tests needed for the dental for the following Friday, 7/10. Wednesday 7/8, I was told to make a visit with urgent care for a CT scan. She was given fluids and medicine to help her eat, her face was asymmetrical which prompted the urgent care referral. The plan was for me to get her a CT scan before her dental, if I was not able to get her into a CT scan before then to move forward with the dental cleaning. On Friday 7/10, I came in for the blood draw with her. I had received a confirmation email the day prior stating we had an appointment. The clinic had lost the appointment time. I was told that we weren't carrying through with the dental cleaning since they did not think she would be able survive being put under anesthesia, which was news to me as I was not informed of that on Wednesday. My cat was declining and I wanted someone to look at her to to further assess what was going on, I was told to come back at 3pm when our appointment was at 11- they were able to accommodate having a doctor come look at her after I advocated for keeping our confirmed appointment that was set up by the clinic. I was then told she had cancer. I was told I could pay the portion of the care plan that we used instead of for the whole year since she has passed. I was told I could return the Revolution Plus they gave me because it was unopened and have it removed from my care plan payments. I returned it last weekend (7/25) and was informed by staff they were unable to provide any proof or documentation that I returned the item. I've emailed the care plan provider on Monday (7/27) and Wednesday (7/29) and they have not responded to me stating that the item was received. I had an incredibly dreadful experience at this clinic. I would not recommend them to others. To me, communication was lacking multiple times throughout this experience that was stressful to begin with.

I had a visit with Dr. Christa in the Caravan this week and it could not have gone any better. First and foremost, it's super convenient. You can have a home visit or a visit at a predetermined location based on availability, both are uber convenient. I was curious to see what a mobile vet office would look like...I was AMAZED. Hands down the cleanest office I've ever brought my dog to. It was honestly amazing. The equipment looked top notch and there was so much of it. Everything had its home and was neatly tucked away and yet so easy for the staff to use. The appointment was like nothing I have ever experienced. It was just me, my dog, and the staff. No going in and out of the room. No waiting endlessly for the doctor to come in. I had her full attention from start to finish. It was seriously amazing. From start to finish it was a smooth process, I am very glad I finally tried her office and will certainly be back. Do yourself a favor and reach out to them, you will be so impressed.

When he began to deteriorate very quickly, Caravan was able to move up our appointment right away and see him sooner. Unfortunately, our kitty was too old and sick to save, but Dr. Christa helped him pass in the comfort and privacy of our home. She was so kind and gentle, and she even sent us a condolence card afterward. Losing a pet is always heartbreaking, but Caravan made it infinitely easier on us and, more importantly, on our cat. We used Genevieve's Pet Care to care for our two dogs while we were out of town this summer. I…read morecannot say enough good things about Genevieve. Since it was the first time using her service, she met with us one night so she could get to know our dogs, ask questions about where we keep food, etc. One of our dogs in particular is a rescue dog and has a lot of social anxiety when meeting new people. I loved how patient Genevieve was with her and by the end of that first visit, both dogs had really warmed up to her. We did a couple of practice walks before we went out of town and both times I came home to a very thorough note about how the walk went, which was a really nice touch because having used other services before, I've often been left wondering if the dog walker came, what happened, etc. While we were out of town we had a couple of updates from her, letting us know the dogs were doing well. I worry a lot about the dogs when I'm away and it was really nice to not have to worry because I knew they were under great care. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Genevieve's Pet Care!

I decided to hire a pet sitter, and I did some research before finding Monica and Purrfect Pet Sitting. I've never hired a pet sitter before, and it was a stretch for me to hand a stranger my keys and trust them with my fur babies, but I had no choice. After having Monica take care of them for just a few days, I knew I had made a good decision. Monica has cared for Wendigo and Banzuke as though she were family. She sent me texts every day with pictures to update me on their status. I was overjoyed when she told me that Wendigo actually "took" to her... Wendigo never even let my own family come near her, but Monica is a cat whisperer, because even in this stressful situation she let Monica pet her and she didn't hide from her. Monica also changed their litter when it needed it, and she followed my meticulous instructions for the diet and feeding for each of the cats. What amazed me most about her is that she has been so flexible and accommodating. I had to extend my trip and Monica has worked with me through all the changes. She even brought extra cooked chicken for Wendigo when mine ran out. As a new resident and a first time street-parker, I didn't realize you had to move your car so much in Saint Paul. Monica alerted me to signs that had been posted by parking enforcement, and bent over backwards to help me make sure my car was ok. When I returned home, I found that Monica didn't just take excellent care of my babies, she took care of my home. She washed dishes she used. She kept things in order. There wasn't any trash to be found. My kitties were happy and healthy! I feel so blessed and lucky to have found someone so professional and caring for my little cat family. It has been such a relief to have one - rather two! - less things to worry about. I feel so grateful to have had Monica there ensuring all is well at home.
