She just turned three a few days ago, I've never missed one appointment. I've never rescheduled with that being said there's been plenty of times that the provider has specifically told me I could do a call or a video appointment because my daughter was continuously having the same issue and had already been seen multiple times for the same issue very recently. Heather refused and said I had to come in person even though the provider clearly told me when I finally came in person that she would've happily did a phone visit now my daughter turned 3only 2 days ago mind you Airflow sent the providers office a form for her to get free diapers where my hours have been cut back and we're in desperate need of diapers. Heather refused to send it saying that my daughter is behind and needs her three year-old exam well child well considering she just turned 3 only 2days ago, it seems you would be able To complete the forms since she's never missed anything and I have an appointment scheduled for the soonest you could get me in and especially knowing she's out of diapers. There's no compassion or understanding at all with any messages with her.

I came here for years but when I've asked genuine questions my last 4 visits they all got shut down. Doctor Johnson refused to take my blood every time I asked at a check up. Then he kept writing a prescription for a anti-fungal that could cause liver failure!!! WTF is wrong with these people! So you can't take my blood for my concerns but your going to prescribe something that does more harm to my body than good???? And the way Dr. Johnson said it to bothered me he quickly slid it in there "but we'll have to check after 4 weeks to see if you have liver failure" WHAT? Then I won't take it! Simple as that! But God forbid somebody wants to find out if they're iron deficient don't take their blood. Seriously listen to your patients!

I'm like okay all you do is place the key fob here then you press the push start button but guess what there was no button to press!!!! Horrible practice... both locations. They are open on Sat and Sun, but if you make an appt on…read morethose days, they charge you extra. They don't tell you that when you make the appt. Their website doesn't mention it either. Website clearly states they are open on Sat and Sun, but they bill you for a charge that says "service when office is normally closed." WTF! In addition, if you ask a question during a child wellness visit, they will charge you for an extra office visit. Literally... at the end of our wellness visit, the Dr asked if we had any questions. We did. Again, no mention whatsoever about extra charges, but when the bill came, there it was... the full charge for the wellness visit and the extra office visit. Their excuse? We asked a question unrelated to the wellness visit. How are we supposed to know what's questions are ok to ask? It was about our childs wellness! If the question was out of scope, the Dr should have told us so and given us the choice to have the question answered. We've also been to the ER twice because these people are so money-hungry they won't call in a prescription for you. Scratched eye, simple anti-bacterial ointment would do the trick. Nope -- go to the ER if you want it. Kid had hives and we asked "Is there any medicine you can give her"? No, try tylenol for the discomfort... but go to the ER if lips start to swell. Lips swell later that night, off to the ER we go. ER gives a single dose of a steroid and kid is up and running around playing in less than 5 hours! Seriously... no medicine will help? BS! The Dr's are nice enough, but they will nickle-and-dime you any chance they get. The on-call nurse/doctors are absolutely worthless and will cost you thousands in completely uncessesary trips to the ER. Novant as the parent company has no interest in customer satisfaction. They will charge you for things you had no idea would result in a charge and won't take any ownership of the fact that no one told you there would be a charge. Seriously, avoid this place.

We did use that location at first but when we moved to clemmons we come to this location more often now. We have seen Dr.Forest, Dr. Hoyle, and Dr. Hyaek so far for our visits. They all have been very kind and very helpful when the kids are sick or for check ups. The nurses call you back in a timely manner and are really nice when you call with questions. And the ladies up front greet you and say bye with a smile. They also schedule appts and they are very helpful and patient when it comes to that area. They have amazing patient rooms! Each room has a different name. For example the space room or camp room. The walls are painted to reflect the named room and some have cute decorations. My boys love them and it makes them feel more comfortable. They are not just in an office they are in a place the can explore or ask questions about to get to know the nurses and doctors. I love that both locations intertwine and that they are even open on weekends at one of the locations till 12pm for sick visits. This has been super helpful at times when ear infections happen over night or when you think your kids are kicking the bug out and then the next day it's a turn for the worse. Also when my son was 6 months none of the urgent cares would see him because he was under 1. So again... it has been helpful. Thank you all for your service. You are greatly appreciated.

I have been a patient at Maplewood for almost 20 years. Back in 2017, I went in for my annual…read morephysical. My PCP at the time was Dr. Lee. She was great, very thorough. As she was examining me, she asked me about my digestion. I told her about some issues I had been having and she got concerned. She sent me to a gastroenterologist. He recommended a colonoscopy. I ended up being diagnosed with stage 3b rectal cancer at the age of 39. If it had not been for Dr. Lee asking me about my digestion, I never would have brought it up. I credit her with saving my life. Several years ago, Dr. Lee left the practice, and I ended up randomly paired with Dr. Winborne for my next appointment. I am really glad that happened. Dr. Winborne takes the time to sit and listen to her patients. We had a few appointments together, and she said she would like to take over my care. I heartily agreed. Dr. Winborne understands my special needs as a rectal cancer survivor. She has a great bedside manner, and is very knowledgeable.

I am so glad I made the switch. Dr. Dorsey and the staff at Maplewood have been amazing. They truly care for their patients and all listen to our concerns. Everything is always explained in detail. Labs are done in house so no need to travel elsewhere. The office is very ample with comfortable seats on the waiting area. 10/10 for this practice.
