Amherst Taxi Dispatch Service was, fortunately, the second taxi service I called. From now on, it will likely be the only taxi service I'll be calling. In addition to doing everything a good taxi service should do for customers, the two drivers Ken and Craig are among the most informed, intelligent, helpful, and funny conversation companions I've encountered outside of a bar. Taxi driver decided to cut everyone off to continue down Harlem Rd. (2-lanes on harlem before right lane ends). taxi driver started tailgaiting me on Harlem Rd. where it turns to 1-lane... Taxi driver sped up to over 60mph in a 35mph speed zone (driving in the center turning lane) to pass me them slammed on the brakes to a complete stop (smoke billowing out of his rear of his car). Tire skid marks on the road as well. Taxi driver was driving like an unhinged lunatic. At the stop light I told the driver he was a total a-hole for driving like that - he hurled a few epithets at me (ironic coming from him). Driver did have a female passenger in the front seat - assuming it was his friend because she was unphased as if it were a common occurance.
