Except for the fact that there is no store, no bathrooms, no showers, no laundry, no rentals, no playground (no kids!), this place was amazing! Beautiful pond for catch and release, gorgeous grounds, path around lake, quiet and peaceful. Great place for adults to hang out and just enjoy nature. I was sad to say goodbye to all the fish, turtles, ducks and geese. This place is what camping should be as a respite. read more

My husband and I were pretty impressed with this place. We got a spot right next to the lake, also next to the grassy knoll. My dogs couldn't wait to play in that grass everyday. This RV park is a gravel parking lot with campers very close together. There is no privacy. There are permanent residents that live there and have lots of junk outside their campers. There are campsites right next to the dump station. That seems like a health hazard. There is a junk area near the walking trail that is filled with old campground equipment, rusty shelves, old sheds, tarps, old tires, and trash. This seems like a safety hazard. The employees are nice, but the owner is rude and disrespectful. I would not recommend this place and I will not be returning. read more

Don't let the lake pictures fool you. The lake is gross. The sites are in a gravel parking lot full of weeds and they don't empty the doggy poop garbage. No cable, bad wifi top it all off. Sites are really close together in the parking lot. When I asked the office to empty the doggy poop garbage I was disrespected and over two weeks later it is still overflowing and all over the ground . My guests were also grossed out. read more

Although not an RV'er, we went to the park to spend the day with some family who were passing through town. This is a little gem of an RV park in Forsyth county, tucked off Atlanta Highway (also known as Highway 9). This park is accurately named - it's large and has two sizable lakes that are beautifully maintained. They have spaces for small campers to larger RVs and spaces that are tucked away under the trees for maximum shade and privacy. There seem to be quite a few long term stayers in this place (that, to me, is a good sign). We strolled around the lakes and along a few of the roads, enjoying the grounds and the weather. The lakes have gently sloping and well maintained grassy banks with crape myrtles placed evenly alongside, and several bench swings interspersed, giving residents a place to sit and admire the scenery across the lakes. Catch-and-release fishing is allowed. The sites are all graveled (didn't see any concrete pads), but again - well maintained. According to our family members, the pricing is really good, with a standard slot at $30 per night and a deluxe spot at $35 per night. It's also very close to The Collection (less than 2 miles), making it convenient to get to shopping, entertainment and dining options. read more

My wife and I stayed here at Twin Lakes for over a year. The roads are paved contrary to other reviews. The lake is kinda dirty. I was told the lake water has caused several dogs to get sick although mine weren't allowed to drink from the lake. Their leash requirements are a joke along with picking up your dogs poop. Better watch your step. The maintenance guy works his butt off so the campground is well kept for the most part. Randy is always helpful and friendly but the owner is a butt at times. Whatever you do, don't call his cell phone or he'll chew your azz out. Mister personality, right? I don't recommend this campground. read more

We have stayed at a quite a few RV parks and so far this one is lower in the ranks. The park is all gravel/dirt so if you are staying here just after rain/snow, everything is muddy which does not make set up easy. There are only a few RV Parks in that area of Atlanta. Twin Lakes is a big gravel parking lot. All spaces are gravel and most of the roads are gravel. The parking lot at the office was turned into more RV spaces. Most RVs are long term. Some trailers houses are there. Go by and check it out. Don't call, The staff will tell you they are full. There are always empty spaces. I think he wants to check you out first. The rate is very high for what you get. About $800 a month. No laundry or showers. The owner lets his dog run loose and works on his loud race cars. Internet worked 3 days in the 2 months I was there. read more

What a wonderful stop in our travels. We stayed two nights and seriously considered a third night. The setting is beautiful with walking paths around and over the lake, swings to rest on so you can appreciate the quiet. There is a fountain in each lake that is lit at night. We had a lakeside site with a nice size level gravel pad and a picnic table. The staff is friendly and appropriately busy as they keep the park very clean. We will stop here again! read more

We absolutely LOVED this property. The sites are neat and almost completely level (no sight is completely level mind you). The staff were amazing and very helpful for our Memorial Day weekend trip. I would highly recommend anyone in the area looking for a short get away or heck even long term checking this place out. We have been here going on 2 weeks, with an expectation of staying at least 6 months while we find another house. So far its peaceful, and very clean. They mow at least once a week, and i havent seen any trash laying around. The lake being accessible during this HOT Texas heat is why we chose this park and we havent been disappointed yet. read more

Twin Lakes RV Park was a great find! We are brand new to the RV world and this was our very first RV park to stay in. We came in after hours and were a little confused, and then a lovely man named Lamar came over to assist us, even though they were closed for the night. He got us set up with a great spot and answered our questions. There is a lovely little lake and a walking path across the lake and through the woods that we really enjoyed. Great park in the middle of Cumming, Ga - right off exit 9 of GA 400. No restroom, but then only RVs large enough to have their own bathrooms are permitted. Yes, a lot of the sites are close together but which commercial RV park does not? If you want want space, go to a state park which will charge the same money for water and electricity only. The lakes are beautiful and the owners and staff are super friendly and accommodating. And their weekly and monthly rates are quite reasonable. We have been staying there for several weeks, sometimes a month at a time, for 11 years. Only one caution (out of the park's control): exit out of the access road onto hwy 9 is dicey. read more

The park is very clean and well maintained!!!! If you go to their web site you can watch a video taken from a drone. They have catch and release fishing. The only down side you might find is that there is no playground, not all sites have a dump and there isn't laundry, but we didn't need any of those, we are able to use the dump station on the way out. read more

Very disappointed in this RV park. First of all, when you make your expensive reservation, they don't bother to mention that there is no bathhouse! That should be mentioned when calling about the park. To get to the park, you have to wind down a very narrow road. I told the reservation person that we have a 36ft 5th wheel, and we would like a pull through. They said there would be plenty of room. They lied. You can't keep you vehicle with your camper. Pull through is so tight, that you can barely get your camper parked and positioned. Sites are right on top of each other! Not room hardly at all. Website pics look much nicer than park. Yelp pictures hide the campground and shows pretty trees and lake. Not all the Gravel and weeds. NEVER seen a park without one! Overly expensive at $45 per night for what you get. No bathhouse or laundry. If more than 2 people in your camper, you are surcharged. This place is a rip-off for the price. Will never go back. read more
