I had to request to talk. My first dog suffered prior to death due to a poor downplayed diagnosis. My second just last week had to be put down after another poor downplayed diagnosis which my dog was critical for anemia. Instead of sending me directly to the emergency room I got repeat x rays, blood tests and ulcer pills that did nothing but poor exit performance in my house. Once in the ER I was directed that it was to late and advised to put him down. He may not have been saved but they did not help having me sit around and wait 5 days until he was critical. Their actions were counter productive. Besides my lose I have to live with the fact I may have not done everything I could to save him. He was only 6. Do not depend on them for any critical care. (Utrasound $600, ER - $78).

It's not just the routine healthcare we appreciate, but it's the difficult issues where we've found comfort in knowing proper, loving care has been administered. Our dog, Jax, was been coming here for years for routine checkups and immunizations, but when it was discovered he had cancer in one of his dew claws, we were grateful that the cancer was skillfully removed with great care. Jax recovered fully. Then when Scout, one of our elderly cats, was so ill that he couldn't go on, the staff made him and us comfortable as we said goodbye to him. Their empathy and final care was so appreciated. And now, Steve, our Turkish Van of 13 years, has become ill and has been seen by both Dr. Ryan Gates and Dr. Eric Allie. I am so grateful to how kind, gentle and patient they were with him on both visits. Both vets were also patient with me, as I had so many questions for them, and they provided answers to everything. My wife and I deeply appreciate this clinic and staff for all they have done for our beloved pets.

I eventually acquired two yappy Yorkie-Poos who have been patients there for the past 14-15 years. They have received such loving care from the doctors and staff, the best advice whenever they are sick, and my two "yappers" are never afraid when they arrive and while being examined. They love their doctors! I wouldn't take my babies anywhere else.

We usually see Dr. Butera, who is great, but on this day, Dr. Butera was not in so we had to see Dr. "Toni." Before this vet even came in the room to my cat, the vet tech said bloodwork was needed. I said, no, she's dying, I just want her to get relief to get her to home euthanasia. Nope, the vet came in the room and raised her voice and I politely asked her to lower her voice Said she will be treat without blood work. I felt I had no choice and was held hostage to get my cat treated, so I agreed. Well, bloodwork came back okay. She then gave a steroid injection and antibiotic injection. We took our kitty home an she made it just a few more weeks and today we took her a new vet. This new vet really examined our cat and informed of many more things going on. The decision was made that today was the day we let her go... What I didn't say, is that I did call and speak to the practice manager. She took notes and said she'd get back to me. I did ask for a refund. Well, she called me back and no refund because I agreed to the bloodwork. I said you are not listening to me. I had no choice. Well, I'm no longer going to Mogadore vet and I'm telling anyone I can how poorly I was treated. Seriously reconsider getting vet care at Mogadore Vet. They are all about the money and not compassion.

Later that day she started hacking, they said nothing to worry about, I call back to say it's white foam, message was to be passed, no response before close. Days continue of hacking and no sleep. (Wasnt happening before the visit). I continued to call Tuesday, Wednesday, and Today (Thursday). To be told someone was supposed to call me, they were also supposed to call on a scheduled follow up on Weds but that never came. I have been worried if she was allergic or something was going on from days of panting. What I was told after the 10th call was that she will need to come in for an x-ray.. REALLY?! An X-ray. That couldn't have been communicated days before as I sit around helpless. All these calls are me reaching out to them and 0 calls in return Very upsetting. I've decided to spread my experience on my local FB group (I heart emoji PLX), where I have 3,300 + local members and this experience has already stopped one from scheduling an appointment.

She also vomits at least once a day & there is blood in it also. The cat doesn't feel good & is only 5 lbs. The doctor said to change the brands of food & cat litter, & my daughter has already done that. $75 for nothing. We will go elsewhere, never ever here again.
