Pedicures are great! I have gone here multiple times for dips and they aren't good. They chip within a week. My nail gal stopped working and I was hoping to find someone here but it seems they aren't trained well. They look great at first but chip on all the corners quickly. I called to make an appt and asked abt times that would work with the schedule that I had and we decided on 11:30...I get there right on time and they make me sit and wait at the nail bar for 15min before a nail tech asks if i have somewhere to be. I told her I have plans at 1-1:15 and will need to be leaving at 12:50 at the LATEST. She asked if I could wait a couple of minutes longer at 11:45 and so I waited until it was 11:50. All I wanted was a french acrylic or GelX...but they didn't give themselves enough time to do that for me. I ended up leaving at 11:55 because no one came to my station at the nail bar after 10minutes of waiting since talking to the nail tech and a total of 30 minutes waiting to even get anything started. If a place knows that they are really busy and are running behind then tell the client that before making that appt! It's unfair for the client to wait without being told anything. I was really excited to get my BIRTHDAY NAILS done before my plans today:( I saw the great reviews of this place and am upset that this is how my first time experience went like this! I understand that same day appts can get caught up with the rush but tell the client that on the phone if you're busy and see that you're running behind!! I could've gone to another place and gotten my nails done and saved us both the waste of time. :( read more

So crowded just before New Year's eve. . .I was worried I'd get a rush job . . .. All of the employees are great at Twin Nails . . . and MIMI was perfect! My powder dip manicure is exactly as I like it. It's not a heavy, thick coat but several light ones so the build-up looks natural. It was such a good job! very bad service, took 3 hours to do a set of acrylics and I got cut 2 times. Then explained to them I had places to be because who has 3 hours for a single set of nails? and they didn't even apologize nor give any sort of discount. they also painted my moms toes a color she didn't ask for and she pointed out it was the wrong color and they painted over the wrong color with the right color?! take off the nail polish! I never write reviews and never have on a place but this is now the 3rd bad experience we have had. they change the price depending on what person does your nails and it's never a set price as well. Not to mention I made a nail appointment and then sat there for 40 mins waiting. personally find this insane and if there's not enough people to everyones nails at their appointment time then stop excepting people for appointments. Annie and Mary did my nails today and what a wonderful experience! I called for a walk in and they took me in with no problem! Annie did my dip nails with short extensions and Mary did my pedicure! Both were such a delight, positive energy and a great experience for someone who doesn't regularly get her nails done! I was given a gift certificate from this place. Never been here before. Peter did my pedicure. I asked for a basic mani/pedi. I got basic from Peter. He was fast, I will give him that. Anna did my manicure. She asked if I wanted "lotion" only after she had applied the finish coat? Kind of hard to do with fresh coat of nail polish. I had to ask her to please remove the nail polish that was outside of the nail area I didn't bother to tell her my nails were still sharp from not filing them properly. I was glad I didn't pay out of pocket and will not come back. Business looked slow today but again, I haven't been there before so I don't know if that's the norm. read more

I can't say enough about how much I like the manicure that Mimi did for me. I am VERY picky and have tried many different salons in the past year, never to return. Twin Nails was next on my list but now there is no more list - I have found my salon!!! I am very rough on my hands so when I went in the first time to get a dip manicure, I had one badly broken nail plus one nail that keeps splitting no matter what I do. Mimi put tips on those two nails and then gave me a GREAT dip manicure. It is now four weeks (!) later and the manicure is still perfect [and I mean - PERFECT!]. The only reason I need a new manicure is because my nails have grown out too much plus, [true to form], yesterday I bashed [ouch!] one of my fingernails that had the tip and loosened the tip a bit. Yikes I'm glad I didn't get my nails done here. I came in during the afternoon to get my gel extension removed as the gel and the extension have been falling off in the last few days. The guy sat me down and didn't say a word. He then used a heavy duty electric filler to remove the top layer but the power was so high it hurts my nails bed. I've never had my gel extensions removed this way. After he couldn't figure out what material was used for the extension, he tried to use a piece of plastic to push between my nail and extension. He proceeded to get a bowl of acetone and asked me to soaked my nails and hands in there like what? The guy clearly had no idea what he was doing and told me if was finished when there were residues from the extension on my nails. Very poorly done job and poor mannerism. read more

Okay this is the second time I've been to Twin Nails, the first time I only got a pedicure and I was really happy w/ it and decided to come back today, several months later for a shallac mani and regular pedi. Some nail salons tell you they have space and then make you wait forever, they aren't very detail oriented, and too many times I've walked out of a nail salon feeling "meh" or displeased. NOT THE CASE with Twin Nails!! They're quick to get you in and you will leave happy. Hannah, who's maybe the youngest technician there, literally did my white mani and pedi better than I've EVER had it done. She has amazing attention to detail and is super sweet, and quick for how perfect she does it. I will not be going to any other nail salon. read more

So we are living in COVID-19 times. The world is slowly opening up and I'm still extremely cautions, however I've been dying for a little treat for several months. I called ahead to make an appointment for the following day and the experience was WONDERFUL. Even without the extra safety measures it was the best nail salon experience I've had. They do a great job and are always friendly but unfortunately do not enforce masks. Every time I'm there there's at least one middle aged, entitled woman with no mask on. I do feel for the employees because I know these people can be difficult when you ask them to mask up but it would make people like me feel more comfortable if it were enforced, especially because you have to sit so closely to other clients while getting your nails done. The prices are a little higher than what I'm used to paying for gel/shellac, however, they are consistently ready when we arrive for our appointment, which I've always been able to make for the same day. They are always nice to my kids, who like to get their nails painted, too. They are expert nail artists. They cute shapes and details we've requested are always adorable and on point. My husband has even come with us and enjoys the experience. They have an array of beverages, so if you're interested in mani/pedi with mimosas - this is your place. I don't order the drinks, but my kids do get the lollipops at the end and always appreciate that. They strongly prefer cash - something that isn't on their website, so that's good to know. I wasn't aware of that the first time. Overall, my family and I enjoy coming here. I have zero complaints. read more

This nail salon is so great! I went for the first time today with my sister and will be back! The entire staff was so friendly and welcoming. We had an appointment but people came in for walk ins while we were there. We were offered something to drink when we sat down. Our nail technicians (I'm now realizing I never asked their names but will be sure to next time!) were super helpful and we picked out what we wanted. They did a fantastic job and we chatted on and off with them. The prices were super affordable and they gave us a coupon for next time.
