Twin Rivers is an interesting RV Park. It is out near the Twin Rivers Park where there is a large playground, fishing and boat launch. It would be great to have that nearby. We saw it in winter so there were puddles and mud but it is a nice park. It's definitely a place you should check out if you're interested in fishing at the local park.

October 1, 2024 Good news! Since my review a year ago, they have rebuilt the bathroom and laundry facility. Everything is new, bright, and shiny. They are now redoing the main office, so as of this writing the office and small store there are closed. We arrived at the main entrance, picked up our site reservation packet, got the gate code, and entered the park. Theses are full hookup sites with lots of beautiful shady trees overhead. The WiFi works well. They have a couple horse shoe pits. Always a good stay here.

Twin Rivers Vacation Park is a dump with shabby furnishings and shabby customer service. The roads in the park were potholed and the picnic table bench collapsed under me giving me an unexpected ride to the ground. My wife called the office and their only response was to send someone to replace the table. No apology or asking if I was OK. The only thing the guy they sent to replace the table had to say was how those tables are "old and rusty." (I mentioned that I had recently discovered that...) Then he hauled it the table away, leaving the sharp screws all over the ground. And of course the office was not open at 10:45 AM leaving me no opportunity to discuss the situation with the management, so they can read my review instead.

I have lived at River Forks vacation park for almost 4 years they're trying to evict me illegally by turning off my power in 26° weather avoid this place at all costs.

Absolutely the one of the nicest RV parks we've stayed in. They have large gravel pull thru shady sites with 50 amp, water, sewer and cable. There is a room with bathrooms and laundry facilities and a clothesline if you want to air dry your clothes. The office has a small store, room adjacent with wifi and you need a code to get in the gate of the park, but if they are in the office they will open it for you. So this is a secure park. This park sits right on the Umqua river but there is really no access for fishing due to berry vines. But a beautiful view. There is a nice county park across the street but NO DOGS ALLOWED from May 15-November 15. Idk weird but I put it in my review about that park. This RV park is so grassy and tons of trees, we had a cherry tree in our campsite. There are pots of lilies all over the grounds. Everything is well manicured. We camped here in a 37' fifth wheel and definitely will stay here again!

Shady park 5 miles off I-5 - Roseburg So Oregon Wine Country Most recent stay was 05-01-2016 (I'm late on my reviews) We camp in a "Tear Drop" style RV only 15' long w/o toilet or shower ~ plus we like to eat outdoors using the picnic table & set up our dining canopy for sun/ weather protection so we rely on condition of campgrounds facilities being nearby our site ~ so our critique is focused in that area. Locking gate for security, paved roadways, lots of shade trees, large level grassy sites with gravel for the rv and cement patio with picnic table - not crowded at all. The seclusion is nice away from noise of city and the interstate - older park 50's era with some monthly full timers scattered about but still everything is neat and well kept. Got a site close to restroom/showers which is in a cement block building; they were very clean although old and outdated from the fixtures/sinks, vanity, toilet, & shower stalls and reason for 3 star rating. A trip to local Home Depot would do wonders for the place. The shower area is large and includes private dressing area in each stall, including a rubber mat when you step out of the fiberglass shower, with hooks for towels and clothes, a shelf, and a corner bench - perfect set up. Wish they had hooks and shelves at community sink area a convenience necessity that many campgrounds seem to ignore. Older washers / dryers that work.

Beautiful RV park! VERY pleasant owner.

Owner very nice! This site is well maintained, quite, friendly place to camp. A must to see OSU master Gardeners across the street. Highly recommend this site!

We have stayed there twice and had no issues either time. Ours is a 37ft 5th wheel and is 13 ft high. We didn't encounter any problems with branches, etc. If you have a particular site in mind my suggestion is to contact the owner, Bob. You will… Read more

This place is a…read morevacation destination for RV travelers who want swimming, tubing, and boat access to a river. A big plus is that the park is family-run by a husband/wife team who are very accommodating. They charge by the number of guests visiting but that covers the water, electricity that you will be using while there so I think that is fair. They offer clean restrooms and showers and a small laundry room (bring your quarters - $1.75 to wash/$2 to dry), plus a dog park, covered picnic pavilion, BBQ, and sink for cleaning fish. There is daily ice delivery for a small fee and the owner delivered a free cool treat to the kids (with parent's permission) one hot Saturday afternoon. It truly felt like we were in a rustic resort. The RV sites are lined up somewhat close to each other but offer enough room and privacy to make it comfortable. The park is very quiet and you will find it silent at night. You will not find tent camping here, nor will you find long-term RV tenants. The grounds are clean and rustic but well kept. We met many nice families, many who are locals who visit this park to get away from their coastal towns. The river access is by rocky boat ramp, though a rustic dirt path that lead down to the river, or by another boat ramp that was unpaved. The river had shallow rocks to sit on and sunbathe or wade out around and was deeper in the center. Small kids could play, find tadpoles, fish, swim, or kayak safely near the shore. We also noticed a few adults fishing too. It was fun playing on the river and the owners have a few tubes and kayaks to use but I recommend you bring your own river "toys" to guarantee you have what you need for your enjoyment. Also there are no close-by stores, so pack up all the food and supplies that you need for your trip and prepare to be off the grid for your visit. There is no camp store or café on site. Spotty cell reception only allowed us to receive and send a few texts. As others have said, do not expect Wi-Fi or cable here. Overall, two nights were not enough as we had such a good time on the river. If it wasn't so far away from home, we would definitely make this a regular summer destination.

We rented the cabin as relatives stayed in the RV park and had the best time which was aided by the owner, who was super helpful. The cabin is isolated from the rv's in an open field next to some shady trees. It features four twin beds (2 up in a loft). There is a couple of chairs, shelfs, a heater, a usb port for mild charging, a swing on the porch a gas bbq and a firepit with some wood and kindling. They thoughtfully provide a few odds and ends such as lighter fluid, briquets and bug spray (that was not needed). It's clean and functional and perfect for a weekend of roughing it, without sleeping on the ground. The owner called it a tent when we booked it, which is not the case. I'm sure he was setting our expectations so not to expect a standard motel accommodation. It was plenty warm at night and all the windows captured the breeze in the day. Also, bring your own pillows and sleeping bags. The only negative is the bathroom which is an outhouse across the field. The normal bathrooms with showers are about a 3 minute walk into the RV park. They are very clean and the hot water just keeps coming! This is where there is a laundry room (don't forget to bring quarters) and a great fish cleaning sink. Once again, they provided some helpful stuff here. The RV spots are pull through with a picnic table and a full hookups overlooking the river. This proximity cannot be understated as it is beautiful. It is quiet as well, great place to get your fish gear together and watch the running water. There is no separation between the spots, so friendly conversations with your neighbor is a sure bet. There is a lighted common picnic area and shade cover with a bbq provided as well as a corn-hole pitch game. We are planning on coming back next year with a large group and using this as a gathering place. Plenty of safe areas for kids to swim as well as great fishing. Our group caught a load of fish the first day from canoes. I think there is some equipment you can rent here. There is a small boat launch and ample parking for day guest. Our large group cannot say enough good things about the hands-on owner of the resort. He comes by occasionally to check that all is well. He provided river whistles (a requirement when tubing in Oregon) and a couple of life jackets as we ran short. We understand the prior owner was more laid back and some of the camp got run down. That is not the case now, as everything was in great shape. By the way, cell services is really spotty here, so don't plan on being connected to your social media. Just enjoy the river.

I did my best to comply with the rules, which were very reasonable. I have continued to do the same with the current owner and the evolving changes. Some of which include having a few tenants move out to address DANGER trees within the park. One has already fallen over in a recent wind storm. The recent flood also developed some issues to be addressed as well. Improvements and safety concerns come with unpleasant decisions that make for unhappy people. Unfortunate, but should be understandable. That said. I have visited many RV parks near and far. Yes, you can find fancier ones with more facilities. But we love the quite beautiful place we have here. I am a disabled veteran and can (by the grace of God) live anywhere suitable to our needs. But honestly, I will choose here over ANYWHERE we have looked at to date. I understand the changes going on and support the owner and the park rules as attempts are being made to improve our living environment. We will get past this "bump" and see a much love comfort returned. If you are looking for a quiet place to enjoy and keep an open mind to reasonable rules. It works for us and might for you as well. Thank you for reading my honest opinion.
