I've been to this salon twice and twice I didn't get what I asked for. 1st time I asked for partial highlights which I've been getting for 3 years. Michelle said she wouldn't do it because my hair was dry. I was still getting used to the water since moving here. Fine. Instead she put in dark color over my existing highlights. Not what I would have chosen but again I stupidly said fine. All while her dog is roaming the salon barking its ass off. Went in yesterday for partial highlights. Two dogs barking and walking around the salon. Michelle took time out of my appointment to dry someone's hair, rinse two more people out, and do some tape in extensions. She didn't give me partial highlights, she gave me face framing highlights with just bleach that she quickly threw on. She didn't tone me so now the highlights are somewhat orange. I know a rush job when I see it. Not what I asked for the second time either. Too much commotion, way too many animals in a professional business and not enough attention to the actual client except to push jewelry that the manicurist (she is very sweet) was selling, telling her I wanted it when I never said such a thing. Never coming back and I don't recommend Michelle. read more

Yikes!!! Not inclusive for SPECIAL NEEDS CHILDREN. I made two appointments for my neurodiverse sons for this Saturday. When I said that I had found the salon's name through an autism resources list the owner squawked, "Oh no! I've got to get off of that list! (Hairdresser's name) doesn't do that anymore!" Me: Doesn't do what? Give haircuts? Owner: No! Do hair for autistic kids! (Tells me how a stylist got cut because a kid was crying and having behaviors.) O⁠_⁠o No lie. I'm stunned. She tried to backpedal and apologized but there's no coming back from that level of ignorance, prejudice.and discrimination. I thought I would share so no one goes there thinking this is a welcoming place for special families. read more

I'm still in tears. Worst haircut I've ever had. She wasn't even going to charge me because I was crying. I was in shock and paid her and I want my money back. DO NOT GO HERE. My hairstylist was Johnny. I will be updating this as the many days/months go by to see the progress of the grow out of this horrible travesty that was done by supposedly an educated hairstylist. You are way better off and where I should have gone to Salon Avalon in Mission Hills where I went in September and the stylist actually listened to what I asked. And spent 45 of the 60 minute appointment educating me on the best cuts for my very thin and fine hair type. Her name was Atoosa and her phone number is 619-297-2200. I refuse to speak of someone who does horrible work anymore. Atoosa does great work! Call her! I'd have her fix my hair but you can't pick it up off the floor and put it back on your head. Michelle took care of my mom and I, my mom got a normal trim and I asked for shorter face framing pieces blended in. She finished both of our hair in under an hour. She was rough with the brush and hit me in the eye multiple times while messily combing through. My hair is choppy and absolutely butchered not blended. I need to go somewhere else to get this fixed. She was very messy and did not stop to check her work, otherwise she would've realized. read more

Michelle is very talented- she does my highlights better than any hairdresser I've ever had. My cut always turns out exactly how I want it! She did all the hair dos for my wedding, and when my mom was sick - she even took time out of her Sunday to come to the hospital and do her hair, just to help make her feel a little better. I come here to see Diedre. She's the one who does my facials. I've been seeing her for about a year now! She has definitely cleared up my blemishes! I started and is still on the microdermabrasion program to clear up and unclog my skin. So far great results and my skin is more clean and lighter in complexion! Wow! We, family of 5, walk in to get my 14 year old a trim and see if worth being regulars. Two stylists look at us as I ask if they have the time for her trim, they say thy both have clients coming in 10 minutes so I ask about tomorrow and they proceed to say they are again completely booked. Diedre is an AMAZING esthetician. I have "mature skin" and never had facials until I met Diedre. Now I go once a month and the texture of my skin has improved dramatically with my new regimen and the use of the 302 products she sells. Diedre's personality is warm and nurturing and her treatment room is very clean and comfortable but .... not sound proof : ) The salon is very busy and full of fun energy which on occasion spills over into the room but, Diedre does a wonderful job masking it with soothing music. She gives the best neck and shoulder massage as part of your facial. I love my time with Diedre and I know you will too!! read more
