He was able to do a great haircut in a short amount of time since my son kept moving his head. Even another barber came over to entertain my son when he realized he was getting a little scared. The other barber tried to argue that it was the kid (who showed a picture of what he wanted) that couldn't communicate clearly. This and the fact that they leave a small "cash only" sign up at the register that you wouldnt be able to see until it's time to pay left a terrible taste in my mouth.

The pretentious and cringe Gen Z neurotic energy from the barber doesn't match the retro aesthetic of the shop. I told the story to a friend to understand what's going on with Gen Z and the first thing he said was 'Wait, you got a beard trim?' I won't be returning.

Mark paid little attention to what I asked for, played LOUD music, did only an ok-ish job on hair and beard. I don't need any styling, just a basic trim. He also charged me $75 for the service when my other barber charges $45 and does a much better job (consistently). Wanted to treat myself for a hot towel shave for my head and face for a wedding and was a little cautious due to no other customers present. Well my fears were laid to rest because Anna did a phenomenal job. The scalp and facial massage to the hot towel was so relaxing. Walked out of there smooth as a babies bottom. Not sure what the going rate is for a total shave but I paid $120 for the experience. Ciao for Now.
