I recently made the decision to finance a vehicle after driving my last car for some time. I found what I thought was a good deal on a 2012 Jeep Compass online and went in to Twins to test drive it. Jay, the used car salesman I was introduced to did not seem very enthusiastic to be dealing with me but I disregarded it as I wasn't there to make a friend. I test drove it and noticed more noise in the cab than I expected but I have notice that before in Jeeps so I wasn't alarmed. I inspected the vehicle and noticed one of the rotors looked to be in rough shape. I brought it to Jay's attention and he assured me the vehicle had been through a THOROUGH inspection and was in perfect working order and thus was priced at full Kelly Blue Book value. Foolishly I took his word for it and signed all the pertinent documents being assured that they would take a look at the rear brakes and we would work something out. I contacted him several days later and we agreed to the Tuesday after I bought it to bring it in. He said he would get back to me with a time and that was the last I heard from him. About a week after that my wife drove the vehicle and said that it was doing something weird when accelerating. I checked it out and did notice a hesitation which progressively got worse. Then the ABS light came on, then the stabilitrac control light, then the 4wd light. Now the 4wd won't engage at all. I contacted Jay once again a week later and the got a sharp "contact the service department" text. I took it in for inspection and was told it would be over $100 to just tell me what was wrong with the vehicle. I declined and the service tech talked with me about it and he offered to take a ride so he could hear what I was hearing. Within driving 100 yards he said he the wheel bearings were bad and that was the source of the noise I heard on the day I bought the vehicle. I of course reached out to Twins and spoke with the sales manager Judd and was met with indignation. I was told that wheel bearings "go bad all the time" and since it had been a month since the actual purchase and that I purchased it as is there was nothing they had to do. He offered to do the repair at cost at which time I advised him I would do the repair myself and was giving them the opportunity to make it right as this vehicle was obviously not in a condition worthy of the amount I financed it for. He said he would talk to the owner and call me back. I did not get a call back. I followed up and left a message the response to which was a voicemail letting me know that since I didn't purchase a warranty with the vehicle (at no point was I offered a warranty) they would not perform the repairs and once again offered to do the work with the parts at cost. I work in the healthcare field and the acupuncture clinic I work at had to close 2 days after I bought this vehicle due to COVID19. I didn't go to them using that as an excuse. I'm not looking to "get out" of anything and I have zero reservations about performing the necessary repairs but it is supremely disappointing that at a time like this a dealership would conduct themselves with so little integrity at every level, aside from the service tech who was friendly and as helpful as he could be within the confines of the situation. I accept that I clearly should not have trusted the used car salesman. That I should have had the vehicle checked out myself. That ensuring expectations are at least met, if not exceeded, is not a value held by all businesses. My parts have been ordered and I am looking forward to restoring the vehicle to the condition I was told it was in when I purchased it. I hope this review is effective in preventing this from happening to someone else either by deterring them from conducting business with this dealership or, preferably, by Twins re-evaluating their policies and procedures to make sure their product is not misrepresented and, in the event that it is, appropriate action can be taken so that consumers are not disenfranchised and left with the consequences of the dealership's poor practices. read more

Do not buy a used car from this place............Bought a 2014 GMC here "AS IS" big mistake. Little did I know they didn't even inspect the car to make it sellable. One month later all four brakes needed replaced, I"m talking pads and rotors, they had new pads in front to temporally mask the problem with the rotors. I can see the tires were going to need replaced, however I was not aware of the dry rot that had happened and so I needed to replace tires right away. Engine filters, air filters all needed replaced, battery failed test, ball joints going bad...a whole list of things most of which any honorable dealership would have taken care of prior to selling to the public. They said bring it in, but all at my expense. What a scam..... read more

If I could give negative stars I would. I have been going round and round with this dealership for going on 5 months now. With my initial concerns never even being taken care of. Their customer service is horrid! Their techs don't know how to do even simple things. Like installing a tonneau cover, or putting plastic covers back correctly after a recall. You wait weeks for a phone call from them, that never comes. You have to reach out over and over, leave voicemail after voicemail. Only to be continually given more and more excuses. The only positive experience I had was the day I bought the truck. However that was short lived. I noticed issues after 2 days of having the vehicle. I was told they would make everything right. They almost brushed the issues off like I shouldn't even been concerned. And if I had concerns they would make sure to address them. As well as, making sure the truck was fixed to our standards. I was within the 7 days of being able to just give back the truck. Which I guess I what I should have done. But I trusted Twins and General Motors to make things right. Now I'm back to square one, as I'm being forced to use Twins to do a repair. A repair that quite frankly I don't even agree with, but will have done to appease GM. read more

Saw a car listed on CarGurus. Filled out the online request for more information. Received an automated response that morning. End of the day came with no email or phone call reply. I called them and spoke with Sara. She said everyone was busy but she had my information and someone would call me back. Next day comes and still no reply. I called again, speaking to Sara. Same thing- everyone busy and they'll call me back. It's been four days with no reply from them after I made three attempts to contact them. I don't think this is how this is supposed to work. Hope you have better luck with this dealership than I did. Lots of cars available for sale and there is no reason to deal with type of poor service. read more

Whatever you do do not buy a car from Twins Buick they sold me a previously damaged collisioned car that is going to cost $7000 to fix and they knew about it and did not disclose to me that it was unsafe (literally) to drive and they refuse to do anything about it and now I'm stuck with paying for the whole thing after I already gave them $22,000 cash of my 401K money to buy the car of my dreams and within two months of buying the car I found out it was junk and they sold it to me on purpose. Now 5 months later it's still not repaired and I am still trying to get justice imagine my stress during a pandemic!! read more

I purchased a used vehicle from the dealership and was lied to from the get go by 3 different people. I was originally told I was approved and it was 25% interest rate and my credit was not bad. They also tried to add 2000 dollars on to the price of vehicle when going to sign papers. They were supposed to fix heat and blender doors and neither was fixed. After writing the BBB about the price difference with the proof of text messages which I still have from MIKE the salesman, I was told to bring vehicle back because they could not get me approved and the credit place added the money on because of score. I refused to bring the vehicle back and after cintact if the credit place I was told they did not add the money on. I also told them I did not want gap insurance or powertrain and was told by salesman that was the only money they were making off this deal and that I should just return vehicle and take business elsewhere. The parts they claimed they replaced were not replaced and I'm going to open another case with BBB with paper work. After telling them I was keeping the Jeep all the sudden I was approved for the Jeep, with a credit union for 10.05%. Big difference. I feel I was bullied and pushed around. I would not recommend my worst enemy to this dealership to purchase a new or used vehicle. Poor dealership all the way around. read more

I would not recommend this dealerships, or purchasing another GM product. I purchased a new GMC Sierra pickup from there that has had numerous issues from day one. They have made several attempts to fix the problems, but the issues come back within days of the repair. After so many trips to the servce department the dealership gave me the number for GM customer care, but I can assure you that after speaking with them they absolutely do not care, so today I finally got my truck fixed by taking a major hit on my lemon GM, and buying a new Dodge Ram. Hopefully I will have a better experience! read more

Megan in the service department is a liar. After being stranded on the road I called back to ask why my alternator was not checked during the diagnostic I paid for, she said she was unable to check aftermarket parts. After speaking to her manager, she in fact DID check my alternator, but didnt tell me it was bad. Im not happy with the level of customer service and the lies she fed me. read more

It makes me laugh that we have been Chevy/GMC owners for years and years and the one time we go to this dealership we get the worst service and we have not received an on-line questionnaire regarding my experience. We have always gone to Byers in GC but since we moved we felt it would be prudent to utilize where I purchased my Denali for preventive service. I was ignored when I went into the service department by everyone. I made eye contact or was walked by by no less then 4 associates and not one person asked if I need help or what they could do for me. I waited 17 minutes before Brendon showed up at the service desk and asked what I needed. Even though I had been waiting an inordinate amount of time, he felt it was ok to treat me as though me and my business were an inconvenience to him. 45 minutes for an oil change and tire rotation and still it was more important for Brandon to have a smoke break beside my truck before he came to tell me my truck was ready to go. I use GMC points to pay for my service and asked exactly how much it would be to make sure I traded in the correct amount of points for this service. When I sent to pay it was $20 more because the service rep didn't take into account that my truck would take more oil for the oil change. As my husband says this building would be a good place for a auto service building, because it is not one now. read more

I scheduled my appointment today at 7am to get a 25,000 mile maintenance completed. I got there and sat in the waiting area alone until someone else came in around 8:00. I thought that my car should be ready by then since it was just for an oil change and tire rotation. By 8:30, I got up and went to the desk to see what was going on and was told that he was busy and didn't have time to come get me. I was really irritated and just wanted to get my car and get out of there since I had to be at work by 9. Why didn't they schedule someone else in to help this one service tech out? I understand that people get busy and more so if there is only one person to help everyone. I think that Twins needs to look into making sure that they have enough help scheduled so that people like me who have to go to work, aren't inconvenienced. I had really high hopes this dealership was going to different than all the others ones that's given me the run around, but unfortunately I fell into the smoke and mirror show every dealership offers. After many games of phone tag (not their fault I work a lot) I finally managed to talk to someone, and that's were everything quickly turned into the same old story. "Congratulations, your pre-approved".... awesome, how much am I approved for?.... "well that depends on the lender".... ok what kind of down payment am I looking at?.... "again it depends on the lender".... so what exactly am I approved for?.... "bring this stuff and come in and we will work all that out." After explaining I live well over an hour away from them, and I didn't want to waste half of a day standing around waiting, only to be told I needed some ridiculous amount down. I was then told someone would be contacting me to get more info from me (but why? I'm already pre-approved, and filled out the online application).... and after a week, not a word from them. Maybe this place is great, maybe it isn't... they never gave me the opportunity to find out, but I wish they'd stop with this pre-approved BS, apparently I was pre-approved to come in reapply. read more

Excellent! I came to this dealership to purchase a used pickup. Leesha was my sales lady and she was attentive and very helpful all through the sales process. A day after I purchased this truck I noticed a coolant leak. Contacted the dealership about it and was asked to bring the truck back in to be inspected. A sales manager, Judd, service manager Mark and Leesha all were on my side to see the problem diagnosed and repaired with no expense to me. The truck needed a new radiator and they took care of everything on my behalf! I am always wary in dealing with car dealerships; you never know how you'll be dealt with. But I am very pleased with everyone at Twins; their professionalism and courtesy to take care of their customer. I look forward to returning here for future maintenance needs and will not hesitate to recommend to friends or family who are looking for a vehicle. Thank you Judd, Mark and Leesha. I would say overall my experience with this car dealership was disappointing... I bought a 2017 Honda Odyssey SE back on Saturday July 25th 2020 from the salesman named Steve. I felt like the process was rushed when doing the paperwork and I failed to do more research on the car before buying it. Steve is your typical grimy sleazy used car salesman. Rush you through the process and not go over all the information with you before signing the paperwork. I take some responsibility with not looking into the car more before purchasing and it was stupid of me but be careful with this guy. I had my first issue when driving home. The windshield mold on the side of the windshield came flying off as Im doing 70mph down the highway and it scared the crap out of me and my pregnant girlfriend . I was only 10 minutes from the dealership so I turned around and let them know about it. They said they would fix it I would just need to bring the car to them the next week after they order the parts. I get the car home and the next day the air bag sensor goes off. I was annoyed by this time and I looked up the carfax to this car and come to find out it had been in 3 accidents. The airbag never deployed but I was annoyed the accidents were never discussed at the time of buying the car. Steve weaseled in the paper where the signature is required on the carfax into a big stack of paperwork. I was never shown the information about the accidents. I never saw it and signed it. I took the car into Twins to get the airbag sensor and windshield mold fixed on Monday the 27th. Judd Paterson said he would take care of it. They had my car for two weeks and gave me a loaner which wasn't bad but just more of an inconvenience. They had to send my car to a Honda dealership to have it fixed and they paid for it but this car was supposed to go through an inspection before selling that I doubt they ever did one! So I got the car back on 8/3/2020 and now there's two back taillight bulbs out. I just feel like they did a ***** poor job at getting this vehicle ready to sell and I feel cheated that they didnt disclose all the information to me. I will be taking this car to my local honda dealership for repairs if anything else goes wrong. Im done dealing with these shady people. It was a huge mistake coming to this place. Now the Transmission is hard shifting and seeming like its skipping gears. 8/12/2020 I took my 2017 Honda Odyssey to the Honda dealership to have it inspected and come to find out the transmission is slipping like I originally thought. Honda put out a service bulletin to flush the transmission 3x"s and change the filter to see if that works. If this doesn't work I will be telling Honda to replace the transmission since it is under the 6 year 60,000 mile powertrain warranty. Even though this is a known issue with the Honda Odyssey I find it hard to believe Twins Buick and GMC didnt know about this issue before selling it. This car dealership is a joke. $19,000 van with 30,000 miles should not be having these issues. **Also while picking my car up from the Honda dealership for having the transmission flushed I was informed I needed a new battery. This is a list of all my issues just in 4 weeks: needed new windshield mold, airbag sensor, 2 taillight bulbs, transmission flushed, and now a new battery. THIS CAR WAS NOT READY TO SELL! read more

I had a flat tire brought into the dealership on Tuesday 4/16, they patched up my tire, charging me $40 for the work, and send me on my way two hours later. That following Thursday, 4/18, that same tire's pressure dropped to 24 after driving to work. Brought my car back in again, and they said they placed a patch on my tread, and they may have to replace my tire. The service rep came back ~35 minutes later admitting the job was not done well, and they placed another patch on my tire. I requested to have my tire replaced, as I am leasing this vehicle and felt that their prior service was poor. I was denied this service by the general manager, Ben Stroup, who stated in our conversation that "you're wasting my time" and "don't you have a job to get back to." The work was not done well, and the general manager was incredibly rude and unprofessional. I recommend going to Haydocy GMC for professional and efficient service. read more

No title after 60 days from purchase date. Temporary has expired....our new car has been sitting in garage for over 2 weeks because the dealership has not even filed with the BMV yet. Dealership will not return calls to lending bank, nor do they even know the full name or contact number of the person at Twins Buick that is in charge of obtaining titles. Our calls go to voicemails. A dealership has 30 days to get a title to you....at 60 days...you would think the dealership would have contacted us to assist/rectify/apologize...absolutely nothing! I am a nurse with 4 kids. Need my car for work as I travel and transporting my family. Absolutely disappointed in this dealership. A simple call with explanation and assistance would have been wonderful and expected. I had to spend all morning calling Bank, BMV, Attorney General only to find out that the dealership still does not have title. Your customer deserves to know this and how your behaving is unprofessional. read more

There was a used Ford F-150 on their lot and was potentially looking to buy it. This truck seemed like a good buy, according to the CarFax, looking closely at pictures and underneath the vehicle at the dealer. One minor rust spot on the rear left quarter panel and that was about it. We walked in to obtain the keys for a test drive. The salesman went looking for the keys, which took an astonishing 10 minutes. He came back and said he couldn't find them and that Ford may have to make a new set of keys! Never have I experienced that at a dealer before. We tried to negotiate about the price also and what the bottom dollar they would take for it would be, but they just HAVE to sell at a certain price; otherwise, a lower price "is just not gonna happen," the man stated. This particular salesman was extremely rude, and seems to entice people to buy a car if no price negotiation takes place. No care in the world about customers. What a joke. read more

Buyer Beware! Bought a Jeep Wrangler from Twins Buick GMC. Our salesman,Tracy Konkler, told us it was still under warranty and it had a great sound system just to name a few. We asked many questions about the vehicle and the deciding factor was the great warranty still on the vehicle and the "excellent" condition it was supposed to have. It had a brake inspection, vehicle inspection. All was allegedly good. Upon checking out the inspection and paperwork, we were sold. Well, we got sold. I brought the vehicle home and found out both the front and back brakes were shot, the emergency brake didn't work, the radio did not work, the jeep won't start at any point after I park it. Two of the tires were missing lug nuts and one rim was broken. And when I took it to the Jeep Dealer, guess what? The warranty was from Canada and it isn't good in the U.S.! Please do not tell me a car dealer would not know this. They had to know. I feel ripped off! read more

Purchased a used vehicle from them, and less than 500 miles later, a sensor light came on, they replaced the gas cap, and the next morning the sensor light come on again....even after they ran a multipoint diagnostic and said nothing else was wrong....skip ahead to ALMOST A MONTH LATER and I an driving a loaner, my car from them has been in the shop for almost 3 weeks now, and they finally got the part in needed, but that didn't work, they need to order another part or re-calibrate the whole computer system! WTF....and of course management has said nothing to me....my review on their Facebook page details everything. The previous dealership at least cared, these people only wanted the down payment and then put me into a vehicle that I'm making payments on but not even driving! read more

The dealership was not honest, I purchased a tonneau cover as part of my truck negotiation and purchase. Then they put on a tonneau cover that was completely different than the one I purchased. I said something that day that it wasn't the one I purchased or wanted and they continued to do nothing other than wait a month to tell me they were not going to do anything. I also tried to call the lead manager who then left the dealership. Then I tried to get a hold of the owner who wouldn't respond to my voice mails. I would never purchase from them again and I think they should not be an authorized GMC dealer with this type of practice. read more

A total of 4 times back and forth to the dealership to get a recall repaired. The wait time was extremely long and unnecessary. The original person that scheduled my appointment was not well informed and should have told me that my vehicle was a drop-off, instead of a 'wait'. I was there for 3 hours before I had to get up and ask someone about the status of my vehicle. At that time, I was told that I should not have scheduled the appointment on a Saturday and I should have dropped it off. After leaving and returning to get my vehicle later that day, I was told I would receive a call on Monday to reschedule. I did not receive a reschedule call until Tuesday, late afternoon. Someone came to pick my vehicle up from my job on Wed, two hours later than the scheduled pick-up time. When my vehicle was returned, the driver parked my vehicle at a meter on a street that said no parking during a specific time-frame (which is when he dropped it off), he did not put any money in the meter and he did not tell me. I just happened to go check on my car and realized all of this. I could have received a parking ticket or worse, my vehicle could have been towed. This experience caused a lot of inconvenience and was not a good one. read more
