I urge the ‍FBI and FEDERAL authorities to investigate this. I can personally attest to this: I took my Range Rover Sport Supercharger there to get a price quote, and they sabotaged its computer system. They disabled the electronics of a car I drove every day and then claimed there had been a pre-existing fault. Now, I can't even drive my car! I do not recommend them to anyone. You will get scammed! There are millions of people like me on the internet. You can look it up. ! ATTENTION !

The shopping experience and selection has always been good, but my third experience has come to bite me in the wallet. I've owned an Odyssey purchase there for about five years, and a couple years into it I got a flat tire in my garage from a sheet metal screw. Turns out the driver side wheel liner and plastic shield underneath the engine had been reinstalled with sheet metal screws at some point prior to our purchase. I was annoyed and contacted the corporate office only be told that their inspection should not be the basis of a purchasing decision. This vehicle also had a clean Carfax report. This brings me to today. During a recent family vacation, the driver side fender started popping out, pulled the wheel liner that then shredded against the tire, and exposed a rather extensive Bondo job. So my Odyssey now sits in a body shop with about $1,600 in estimated repairs. I was a little too trusting and assumed that these sort of issues would have been discovered prior to selling a vehicle. Really hoping this wasn't a CarMax repair.

I was able to get a 0700 appointment. Showed this morning and was first in line. The doors opened at 0700 as advertised and I pulled in and got out of my car. I was greeted by Jason and he asked if I had an appointment. I stated I did for 0700. He looked on the computer and couldn't find my appointment but went ahead and booked me in anyways. I was getting an oil change. I told him that and funny as it is he said I should get a transmission flush and a radiator flush that I was overdue. I just had to laugh and told him no. Funny thing was I literally just watched a YouTube video that talked about Service Writers will always try to upsell these two services because of the huge margins they make on them. I then went into their lobby to wait. They have a great lobby to wait in while you wait. In the morning they free coffee and pastries for customers who are waiting. After about an hour Jason came in and waved for me. I followed him back to his desk. I told him I had a coupon for the service, he was a little perturbed by that and lectured me about it not being presented when I came in. No big deal, finished the transaction and he told me my car was outback. I went out and got in my car. Whoever moved my car had to be a short person because I struggled to get in because they had the seat all the way up to the steering wheel. Finally got in the car and adjusted the seat and started the car. To my surprise my I look down and my "Check Engine " light is still on. My thought was I should go back in and show them but decided it wasn't worth the trouble. I'll definitely make them come out to the car next time before I leave.

Before buying, I asked several questions over email about its condition and any possible mechanical issues. I was told, "Zero issues, very nice truck." Unfortunately, that was not true. On the drive home, the exhaust pipe past the muffler fell off. I also discovered problems with the front brakes and alignment. Additionally, the bumper was supposed to be replaced before I picked up the truck on May 31st--but it hadn't been. I was assured it would be delivered to me and installed by a local mechanic arranged through Travers Hughes. It took over a month before the bumper even arrived, with Travers blaming the eBay seller for the delay. When I found a local mechanic who could install it for $125, the bumper showed up without the correct brackets. On July 18th, I emailed Travers about the issue, and he replied that he would "contact them and get the correct parts and send you the $125 no problem." Today is August 21st. I still have not received the correct parts or the $125. My advice: Do not take their word for anything. Do not trust that Travers Hughes will follow through on his promises.

The dealership verbally confirmed they had replaced these on the car prior to sale but couldn't find any documentation to prove it. I stupidly took their word for it and bought the car. HUGE mistake. It immediately had trouble running/starting. After getting warm and turning off, the car would NOT start. It was also running VERY rough. I took it to a ASE certified mechanic near my home who knew nothing about the timing chain situation. I told him the symptoms and he came back to me stating the engine was out of time and needed a timing chain replacement. Once I told him the timing chain had supposedly been replaced, he said the "screws on the timing chain have never been touched, it hasn't been replaced. You've been taken advantage of" word for word. After that, I contacted the dealership. Their response? Absolute disrespect. I'm yelled at and accused of lying about how much I've driven the car despite the sale paperwork and mechanics diagnosis showing a mild difference in mileage. I decide not to deal with them any more because they're impossible to communicate with. I decide I'll take it to a Cadillac dealer for another opinion. Their diagnosis is the exact same as the other mechanic except worse. The timing chain needs replaced (since they say "it's never been replaced"), the brakes need replaced, spark plugs need replaced, power steering is completely shot, and basically another $1,000 worth of work needs done to the car ON TOP OF the timing chain. Bottom line - STAY AWAY from this dealership! They're NOT honest!

I have to post about our car buying experience at Buckeye Motor Sales. We were in a really bad…read moresituation and had just been hit by an 18 wheeler -- our almost paid off car totaled in a matter of a few days. I looked on Car Gurus and found a car that really impressed me and I inquired. The next day I called and talked to Steve and was immediately struck by how in depth he was about the car. He listened to my situation and let me tell him what we needed. We discussed the car and had several conversations that day and it was no time at all and we were approved by various lenders and we were arranging to drive to Delaware to finalize the purchase. Unfortunately I became really sick and couldn't make the trip for a few days and Steve was more concerned about my health than the sale. Which is not surprising since he is not a typical salesman. We came today, finalized the deal, signed, sealed, and after a few hours home with our new 2014 Chevy Cruze and it is JUST what we were looking for. 100,000 miles less than our totaled car, great payment and 1st payment not due for a month. Beautiful car, clean, great gas mileage, and so happy to say this Made in America and Made in Ohio car is Ours. Thank you Steve -- you have been a wonderful help to us. Thank you Sharon for your help and providing us excellent service. You are a great team and we highly recommend Buckeye Motor Sales and Steve and Sharon to anyone needing a new ride.

First of all, when you set up an appointment, you can request a loaner car, so that you don't need to wait there for the car, and I didn't have to miss work. I also saw a different rep ordering someone an Uber for a different customer because who didn't have appointment so there wasn't a loaner available. Secondly, I originally went in for a transmission flush. While I was at work, I got a text and email of the inspection they had done. The inspection was really easy to read, and gave me different levels of recommendations for other things that needed to be done. Some things were urgent, and some things were needed soon, but not urgent, and there were some things that were for maintenance only. On my lunch break, I called my service rep, and he was able to talk me through all of the things on the report, and explain things to me, because I am pretty illiterate when it comes to cars. I ended up also getting my drive belt replaced as well. But my rep made sure to let me know what the price would before I decided to go through with it. At the end of my work day, I drove my loaner car back to Luke's and picked my car up, and was on my way. Overall, the inspection report, and the loaner car I think is what really separates Luke's from the rest. When I've taken my car to get an oil change or the tires replaced at other places, i've always had to wait in the lobby and its a waste of time. I lost no time with Luke's and knew exactly what was happening to my car. Take your car to Luke's if you want incredible service.

I recently had the water pump replaced on my vehicle at Luke's Auto Shop. Unfortunately, shortly…read moreafter the repair, I discovered that a coolant hose clamp associated with the water pump had been left improperly installed. This caused coolant to leak into the engine bay and could have led to much more serious engine damage if it hadn't been caught quickly. A mistake like this is concerning because the cooling system is a critical component, and something as basic as verifying that all hose clamps are properly secured should be part of every final inspection before a vehicle is returned to the customer. That said, I also believe it's important to recognize when a business makes a genuine effort to address a problem. Once the issue was brought to the shop's attention, the service manager handled the situation professionally. While the original workmanship issue should not have occurred, he did what he could to make the situation right by listening to my concerns, arranging for the vehicle to be checked over, and working to restore my confidence in the repair. No repair shop is immune to mistakes, but how those mistakes are handled matters. In this case, the initial repair fell short of the standard I expected, but the service manager's professionalism and willingness to stand behind the work improved what could have been a much worse experience. Overall, I hope the shop strengthens its quality-control procedures to ensure critical items like coolant hose connections are verified before vehicles leave the shop. If they do, I believe they can provide a much more consistently positive customer experience.
