I found Lambrusco and Brachieto de Aqui, while the names may not sound familiar, i am sure if you look at the pictures on my review you may have seen them before. Prices were very good, not overpriced at all, very helpful staff willing to make suggestions and answer questions with a smile. Normally my wife walks in to buy wine, today i came in to browse as we decided to take a walk around the neighborhood. First off, a gift box, with a bottle of Taittinger Champagne and nice 2 glasses for $50. And a box set of 6 bottles of Cabernet Sauvignon by the famous wine label 'Chateau Lafite Rothschild' for $100. I'm no wine sommelier, and I prefer white wine anyway, but I thought 6 bottles from a world famous wine label for $100 sounds like a steal to me..And it comes in a nice wooden box! And of course, Michelle knows how much I enjoy my whiskey, both blended and single malt, so she introduced me to Monkey Shoulder, which is a blend of 3 single malts: Glenfiddich, Balvenie and Kininvie. I bought a bottle and cracked it open that night..lol Very smooth finish, and sweet with a hint of vanilla. If you're a whiskey drinker like myself, for $32, get yourself a bottle of Monkey Shoulder! I also got a 3 bottles of white wine to go as well! Another awesome experience at my favorite liquor store! :D

I walked into this location looking for a bottle of wine, most of the aisles were blocked off with a chain or boxes so when I headed down an isle that was actually open toward the back suddenly a German Shepard jumped up from under wherever it was sitting in a dark room or closet and started viciously barking at me. I literally jumped and almost had a heart attack. When I addressed this to the guy at the register he simply said "well it's on a leash" when I explained that it really scared me (as someone who has had horrible experience with a dog in the past this is a serious scare) he laughed it off acting like it's MY fault this dog started barking like crazy for no reason. INSTEAD of being professional and doing the least he can in this situation which would have been a simple apology he just laughed it off... no sorry no nothing. Maybe he is sexiest as I am a female and he thought this was "funny" but if you can't control your "pet" you really shouldn't have it around customers in such a small store. *Not to mention sitting in some dark room with the lights off on a leash all day. Obviously this dog is poorly trained/ not trained at all and your behavior as a store owner just lost yourself a customer. I will be sure to report this to 311 and BBB. God forbid this out of control animal attacks a child or elderly person as they walk past, even being in a "leash" won't help you in court. These situations happen way too often with people who don't know how to handle/train what they believe is a "guard dog" that ends up seriously hurting innocent people as the owner helplessly watches. FYI: "The Food and Drug Administration's Food Guide lays down the law: with few exceptions, live animals of any kind are not permitted on the premises of a grocery store, a restaurant or other food establishment.
