    Burned Crust.

What in the world..why would you deliver BURNED PIZZA.. I loved going there now everything has changed no o e caring what the are putting out.I have to say I'll never order from them again..Totally lost my business

Just had dinner here with my mother and sister. They both had small pizza's, I had the Crispy Chicken Parmesan topped with Marinara sauce and Mozzarella cheese and a side of spaghetti. While the chicken breast was tender and juicy and plenty of Mozzarella cheese, it was not Marinara sauce on either the spaghetti nor the chicken Parmesan. It was more like a watery tomato sauce, that had been poured out of a jar. Not even a name brand sauce, this stuff lacked any true Italian seasoning. Now if you want true HOME made Marinara sauce go to this website www.mangiamiitaliano.com Now for the garlic bread that I had, different story, Crispy crust, tender and soft bread, true garlic flavor. The service was a different story as well. Our server for the evening was Brett. Expedient, friendly, accommodating and very attentive. As for the Ambiance, the acoustics in this place has much to be desired of. You could hear everybody talking, but could not understand them including the person sitting next to them. To give you an example of how bad the sound was. There was a country song playing at one time and my mother thought she heard bagpipes. I give this place three stars, but only because of the great service and the chicken not being a total disaster. Sincerely Michael W. Webber

Everything is excellent. Except my 10 yr old grandson who's a big boy. Ate 3 slices of pizza. But charged as adult.

The inexplicably named Samoritos (fried pizza dough pieces) are delicious! (I'd pay double to have those suckers tossed in FRESH chopped garlic and parsley and a little butter or olive oil). The marinara sauce is very nice. The staff are nice enough. Now for everything else. First thing one will notice is that the owners need to invest in their building. It is very late 70s mobile home vibes. It is grungy. It does not smell good. Age and grime coats the walls, fixtures, furnishings, and carpet. Nothing is updated or even just in good condition. The wait can be unbelievably long - not because there are no tables available, but because they run out of clean dishes. And while you wait forever, you are uncomfortably sitting in a strange, dark little room on a cheap outdoor bench, or you are standing right in the middle of the entry/exit point. The salad (like everywhere across the Midwest) is plain old iceberg lettuce with a scattering of cucumber slices, cherry tomatoes, and canned black olives and a bunch of shredded cheese if you don't ask them for no cheese. The dressings are not very inspiring. Or tasty. The food is of the hit or miss variety, I guess. The first time I played it safe with a simple spaghetti and marinara. The pasta was adequately cooked and in a large portion. The marinara, again, was very tasty. Others in my party had similar comments about their choices. The second time I went I decided to try the portobello ravioli. That was not a good choice. I ate 1/2 of 1 ravioli and took the rest to see if my garbage disposal of a husband (he will eat almost anything without complaint) would eat it. He stuffed a whole ravioli in his mouth and that was the end of that. The rest fed the bin. First, it was absolutely drowned in an Alfredo sauce that did not seem to be a fresh, housemade product (which it should always be because it is not difficult at all and would be a huge upgrade). The pasta was slightly undercooked, and the filling was more ricotta than mushroom. For a mushroom lover ordering mushroom ravioli...my expectations were high. Anyway. I'll go try the pizza. Hope it's good. Other reviews mention this place isn't worth takeout, which is why I returned to dine in at all.

After looking at the menu, we came to the realization that there's only a few actual Italian dishes served. More of a family American restaurant; however, they do have Stromboli and pizza pies on their menu. Must say that their mixed drinks are extremely reasonable. They did not have Compari to make a Negroni and substituted Aperol. Overall, not a bad drink, especially at only $5! My wife had one of their specialty cocktails which was only $7 but too sweet for my taste buds. We ordered their garlic cheese bread with sauce, little did we know it was actually a 12 inch pizza with lots of mozzarella served with sauce! It was actually pretty good but way too big. I tried their Gonzalo steak tips while my wife ordered their pizza Margarita. Although the flavors in the Gorgonzola steak tips were nice there was only about five steak tips with of pasta and sauce. My wife's margarita pizza was presented well and the slice. I had tasted pretty good. We sat at the bar and had excellent service from Lucas. He was a fine young man who was affable and professional. If we do go back, we would try the Stromboli as it looked delicious!

Unbelievably good pizza, made with an excellent crust, not too oily or too thin and loaded with fresh toppings. Granted, the interior and exterior are nothing to brag about and the owners aren't spending their money on surface level aesthetics, that is for certain. However, they spend where it matters most- on food quality. Their warm, fresh from the oven bread sticks and fabulous garlic bread are also delicious. Service is friendly and with a personal touch and always prompt. Highly recommended.

Food/Value: Eggplant $15 this was a great value as the marinara sauce was best Ive had in 15 yrs. And, you got 4 big pcs. The rolls are very good, not dried out. Salad (incld): mixed greens, and great dressing. We shared lobster ravioli @$35 + Tortellini Diablo @$24. We both took food home, so value is great. The lobster ravioli was sooo good, the sauce had depth of flavor and ravioli was filled well. It didnt have that weird fish taste some do. The diablo with chix was also very good, but should have a little spicy tag on menu. the chefs sauce is fabulously made. Wine: I love that they have deals on bottles of wine. Very smart on their part......They can still make more money than a glass, but consumer happy too. Only negatives: Like to get them to switch Styrofoam doggie kit to cardboard (for environment & also reheat reasons). 2nd: I dont support veal meals.
