Sorry no pictures.. we got a pizza, spaghetti and twin bread. Nothing special. Everything was average. For a Sunday at dinner time we expected a dinner rush. There was no rush. We did ask for extra sauce on the pizza so glad we did as the amount was still lacking for normal sauce. If you are a local or passing through I would be more of a regular, we drove 35 minutes and would not go out of our way to go back. Our waitress was good, place was clean. Family went here on a Sunday night. Orders came out at different times (not a huge deal). But what was upsetting is that my wife ordered a bacon, pineapple, and ham Stromboli. She began eating it and realized that there wasn't any pineapple. She brought this to the lady's attention. She came back a few moments later with some pineapple in a small container. Problem solved; until we got the bill. We were charged for a bacon, pineapple, and ham Stromboli. BUT- we were also charged a fee for the container of pineapple, as well. We have not been back since. Just had dinner here with my mother and sister. They both had small pizza's, I had the Crispy Chicken Parmesan topped with Marinara sauce and Mozzarella cheese and a side of spaghetti. While the chicken breast was tender and juicy and plenty of Mozzarella cheese, it was not Marinara sauce on either the spaghetti nor the chicken Parmesan. It was more like a watery tomato sauce, that had been poured out of a jar. Not sure why people are leaving bad reviews, we've never had anything but great food and service there. If it's busy, it takes a bit longer, they do a lot of takeout. We always get pizza and salad with breadsticks, Ian's they're both the best around if you like the style. Pizza sauce has just a slight kick to it, topping are really good quality, and the crust is a nice hand-tossed style. The restaurant is quite plain and simple inside, but always seems clean. A great small-town feel place to bring the family or just to go on a casual date. read more

Tried their pizza before and was unimpressed, but we stopped in again with family. This time I tried the cauliflower crust pizza, which was "ok" except for the very burnt crust edges. Husband got the Seafood Platter, which was 2 crab cakes, 2 pieces of fish and popcorn shrimp. The crab cakes were gooey and cold, and most of the shrimp were not deveined. What I received was a Stromboli with hot peppers, pineapple, and mushrooms and a pizza with just pepperoni. When I called to let them know they got very snotty and rude. They started to argue and then decided that they would remake the Stromboli but they would only remake the pizza in a small.....we ordered a large! They said that was all they could do. Decent pizza and service. I ordered the two-topping 12" pizza with black olives and green peppers. Was it the best pizza I've ever had? No. Was it pretty good and a decent value? Sure. The taste was pretty good, although the pizza toppings did look a bit uneven, like they were tossed on haphazardly with the bulk of black olives spread over one section and only a few around the edges, with absolutely none around the crust on the opposite end. Well, the wasn't the prettiest-looking pizza, but it was cooked properly and it did taste good, although I was little bothered by the fact that the toppings were so uneven around certain areas. The crust was super thin and I'm not usually into super thin crusts, but it did taste decent for an ultra thin crust. I prefer my crusts a little thicker, but it did suffice. The sauce wasn't out of this world great, but it was good and definitely a cut above most fast food franchise pizzas. The 12" inch pizza was a decent size, enough for two adults, leaving no leftovers to be wrapped up. We opted for the two-topping versus the specialty veggie pizza because it had broccoli on it and was husband wasn't down with that, although I didn't mind the idea of broccoli on a veggie pizza at all. I guess he's weird like that. Oh well. That pizza was $12, a pretty average price for the size, location and quality. Our waitress gave us a loyalty punch card and explained that after ten punches, you get a free pizza, which was a nice little bonus for regular patrons. We got our pizza exactly ten minutes after ordering. Our server was super friendly and knowledgeable about the entire menu, even suggesting the all you can eat lunch buffet to us if we come back, as well as their new specialty burger menu. She was quite pleasant and efficient, telling us about the current cocktail specials and whatnot. I glanced at the burger menu and noticed they have a new peanut butter gourmet burger with bacon. Hmm. I don't really know how I feel about that, but it's interesting. My husband said he'd probably give it a try during our next visit to Twin's. Aside from the gourmet burgers, they had all the standard Italian fare, including ravioli, spaghetti and meatballs and fettuccine alfredo, but I noticed they didn't have a lot of vegetarian options, which was a shame. I would have liked to try the ravioli, but they're all made with meat, so that's off the table for myself and any of my fellow non-carnivores. Bummer. The interior reminded me of an old-school Italian restaurant from my childhood in many respects, except for a few recent upgrades, including plasma TVs on the wall and pendant lights throughout. The plastic canopies hanging over the buffet, bar and pickup area with the old-school script, wooden tables and chairs seemed a little dated, but it was charming in a slightly nostalgic kind of way. They had a nice outdoor patio area to dine alfresco, with umbrella-covered tables providing plenty of shade during warm weather. When we're in the local area again and don't want fast food, I'm certain we'll give Twin's another go and maybe try more than the pizza. My husband is still talking about getting that peanut butter burger.... Close to four stars, probably 3.8 if I'm being specific, so I'll round up and give a 4. read more

Stopped by on a Sunday evening after driving south from the UP. Nice break, the ambiance isn't anything special, a little noisy, but we were seated promptly and the staff was pleasant. I ordered baked spaghetti (1/2 order) along with a dinner salad and their signature "Twins Bread". The dinner salad was served promptly. The bread came shortly after and it was a huge portion, Then the 1/2 order of baked spaghetti was served. Our party of five all felt the service was quick. My husband and I probably order pizza once every 2 to 3 months so when we do it is because we both are craving it, and we usually like to order from non chain pizzeria's. We recently moved to Clio and decided to try Twin's to both of our disappointments this was close to the worse pizza I have ever had! Huge disappointment, the crust was boring and burnt, there was so much sauce and seriously a sprinkling of cheese. This pizza didn't come close to satisfying our Pizza craving. Yuck read more

New to the area never been here before. I assume the older couple working in the afternoon are family or owners. The woman was very rude to me, I walked in to no one. I had no idea where to go so I walked towards the left restaurant area. When she saw me she asked "What are you doing ?" I said pick up. She yelled back "GET" get over to the counter. Not know where that was I walked back to the door where there was a counter. I stood there waiting, again my first time there so I stood near the sign wait to be seated. The same older woman came thru another door and barked as if I was an idiot, "I said go to the counter" I point to my right and say oh another counter over there. I get to the counter and a the older man appeared, from that point on the transaction was fine. We order delivery from here a couple times a month because they're one of the few places that'll deliver to us. We actually really like the pizza and it's a good value. The main drawback of this place is the delivery time. Whatever they say, multiply by 2. An hour and a half on a weeknight is not the greatest. Without even looking at the menu, we ordered a 1/2 meat lovers and half pretty plain. We got the salad bar, that had the usual suspects on it. Nothing crazy, but good just the same. I go here on a regular basis. Bathrooms are clean as is the whole restaurant. Service is average on a busy day. Burgers are really good here (surprising as its a pizza joint) Parking is easy and very accessible. **Ask for a Twins card. Fill it up and you may get a one topping pizza for free. read more

Very disappointed. We live about 35 minutes from here but until today it was worth the trip. We arrived just as they opened and were seated right away. Waitress brought menus and drinks directly. Between the five of us we had 2 pizzas, a salad with breadsticks, and a hamburger. Salads arrived and then we waited. Pizza and hamburger arrived at the same time. Neither pizza was warm and both had scarce toppings. More time passed and then the bread arrived. Warm but raw dough in the middle. In the past we have received pizza overflowing with toppings and great breadsticks. Also disappointing was the fact that no alcoholic beverages were available as the new owners didn't have their license yet. This used to be our go to pizza place in spite of the drive. I've been to Twin's a few times, we usually pick-up a pizza. I've only been inside to eat an actual meal twice, but I will say from now on I'll stick to their pizza. The first thing I had there was a salad, I asked for no olives but they were added anyway and the ranch was extremely sour tasting, so they ended up giving me a brand name package of ranch. Then I got lasagna, the cheese was thick, burnt, and not very flavorful. I think twins has a nice atmosphere and delicious pizza but I would not order anything other than that. read more

Food arrived burnt everything was burnt. We waited and hour and 15 mins before being approached by a staff member who asked if we had been helped. No one had drinks at this point even. Food was tasteless, bland, like I said burnt, and my husband's calzone was sitting on a flooded plate... it was pepperoni and peppers where is the liquid coming from? My daughter got "extra cheese" on a cheese pizza there's a literally specks of cheese and over load of sauce. Twins pizza is the best in Clio. We get pizza delivered twice a month, it's hot and delicious. They will deliver most of anything on the menu. We also love the chicken parm&spaghetti it comes with salad and bread. They have lots of take out! The service is A OK . read more
