Whether you're craving good old fashioned soft-serve, or you're looking for cutting edge ice cream technology (soft serve AND a slushee? Come on!) the KreeMee has it all. I got a Snickers-flavored cyclone - basically, some sort of super-milkshake with snickers bits swirled into it. The staff were really helpful and even let me customize how much fudge went in. As for how it tasted? Imagine a snickers bar rolled up in a blanket of ice cream. You want that, right? We also sampled a Slushwhip, the soft-serve/slushee hybrid, which was a really refreshing counterpoint to the rich chocolate goodness of my cyclone. And if course, some cheese bites were the perfect deep-fried complement to the ice cream. Like I said before, there's a pretty simple way to wind this one up: the KreeMee has it all. The playground in the back is really cool and old, but kind of dangerous for smaller children. We figured out quickly that the slide was not appropriate for our four year old who likes to slide under the rail. Beware of this if you have little kids. This is one of those times. We were passing through the area and decided to stop for something quickly to eat and I was in the mood for a burger. Huge parking...attached to a strip mall, but far away from the stores. This particular chain is not one I'm familiar with as they don't have any where I live. Now the menu has an adequate selection to choose from fish to chicken to salads to hamburgers. There's also some good dessert items to choose from (I include malts & shakes in this group). Eventually, I opted for the Cheddar ButterBurger...made it a combo meal. I was expecting a run of the mill burger, but to my surprise, my burger was really tasty. In fact, it has to be one of the best chain restaurant burgers I've ever had! My friend got a different burger I don't recall, but said his was way better than he was also expecting. French fries were pretty good too. This is a Pepsi products place...sorry Coke folks. Prices were average for a fast food restaurant. This chain location was clean inside and out. Although being busy, workers kept the place pretty clean. Now the soda machine area was a little wet but it wasn't any worse than most fast food restaurants I've visited. The bathroom was clean too. Sidenote: paying with bills and change, I was one cent short of breaking a large bill and was expecting the young cash register worker to forego being one penny short and give me back a single bill. Nope, I got 99 cents back! Now I'm not complaining...in fact, kudos to the young man...in reality, it's probably not within his authority to "give" away funds and he was simply following proper protocols to the letter. I'm sure he'll be a true asset wherever he works as he pursues this or any other career. Good job young man, good job! This place exceeded my expectations. I'll definitely visit this chain again in my travels and look forward to it!

My daughter and I each ordered off the special "summer BBQ" menu: I had the Memphis pork sandwich and she had the pork shoulder tacos. My sandwich was described on the menu as "served open-faced on sourdough". My plate arrived, and I could barely find the meat. Half a sandwich, with three small slices of dry pork with no BBQ sauce. Lots of waffle fries, and big cups of cole slaw and baked beans...but vanishingly little pork between two half-slices of what is best described as Texas toast. Yikes. Honestly it all tasted OK, but the relative proportions of items on the plate was ridiculous. And my daughter's tacos were straight-up not good...pork shoulder was tasteless and the accompanying pico de gallo was so wet the tortillas quickly became really soggy. My wife's pizza was the saving element of the family meal. So...disappointing food overall. We'll give it another try, but we'll be sure to order off the standard menu next time.
