"Crab" cakes. The worst I've ever had. Tasted like tuna fish. Sent back.

0 stars. One year later and our travel team is back. Just as bad if not worse. Shame on Doubletree for allowing this garbage to be served in there hotel. I emailed the hotel about it. No response. Get a grip

    Check your chicken
    David P.

Let me start off by saying I have NEVER given a 1 star review. My chicken was raw. They offered me a free dessert, I'm on keto, they offered to take my iced tea off the bill. Not once did they offer to discount the chicken. I wasn't looking for free stuff just wanted what I paid for to be right. So I paid my full bill and left. This was my second time here the previous time was just as bad. I have photos.

Good menu selection and my bacon, blue cheese burger was very good. Nice beer selection but no draft. Bar could be bigger but good service

Quick take: food was pretty good, decent prices, great drink, will come back!…read moreCame in around 5pm on Friday 2/27 and only one person at the bar. Nice lady told us to seat ourselves where we want, GM initially waited on us. He was friendly. Wife said he made the margarita and it was great! A little stronger than my wife likes, just under what I like. After a couple sips she loved it! He recommended fried catfish and the ribeye as favorites. We tried both. Ribeye: cooked nicely, not seasoned enough for my taste. I would order and try this again, $26, with two sides. Steak was tender and was a nice cut of ribeye. Salad was solid. Mashed potatoes ok. Could have used a piece of toast I think. Next time a different side from mashed taters. Catfish: GREAT! Light, fluffy, fried perfectly. Hush puppies were good, a little thick though. Fried okra was also great! Cole slaw could be hit or miss for folks.. i thought it was good, wife didn't like. Should have come out in mashed potato sized bowl to eat easier. Some dislikes: 1. Steak not seasoned well. But I'd try it again. 2. Some things missing off of our plates initially (tartar sauce, mashed potatoes.) No big deal but if it was busier I think we may not have seen them for a while. 3. Person bringing single bowl of mashed potatoes holding with one hand, palm down over potatoes. Pretty sure it looked like hand touched top of potatoes. 4. Not sure if this is a smoking establishment but a guy at the bar lit a cigar. But he must've been asked to take it outside because he put it out. Glad he did because we had a baby. Not sure why he thought he could smoke it in there if he hadn't before. Overall, good visit and I look forward to trying more things and eating that catfish again.

First visit and it will not be the last!…read more After looking at reviews and photos I knew I was ordering the salmon with cabbage and rice. Salmon was seasoned perfectly, had a nice crispy char on the outside while the fish was moist and tender. Only thing that could have made it better was another piece! The cabbage was soft and flavorful, but not overly seasoned, nice comfort cooking style. The rice was perfectly cooked, had hints of I believe saffron and maybe liquid smoke(?) whatever it was the rice really stood out my only complaint would be there wasn't enough. My wife had the grilled shrimp with sauce and she was very happy, they were cleaned, cooked well, and she really enjoyed the sauce. She had the same two sides and also said a bit more rice would have been nice. For desert we had their deep fried cheese cake, it's almost like a cannoli and cheesecake had a baby that was deep fried. The dough was softer than cannoli but the apple drizzle paired very well with the dessert. We plan to return, but it will be hard to order anything other than that salmon! Great location across, right across the street from Princess Theater.

I stopped by with a colleague on a recent business trip and missed the part of the sign above the…read morerestaurant where it shows the word "brick" so I had to drive around the block a 2nd time to even locate the place. It was fairly full on a Tuesday for lunch so we had to sit by the front door. The menu is fairly simple and includes specialty sandwiches, salads and soups, a couple desserts and not much else. For as large as this space is, you would think they would serve more food items. Maybe their kitchen is just very small, not sure. The server indicated many of their sandwiches are steamed. I tried one of their sandwiches, the casa grande without olives, with a side (potato salad) and a homemade banana pudding. Sandwich - this is a pretty good sandwich that is moist due to the steaming and a lot of mustard and mayo. They also forgot to take off the olives though. Potato salad - their version is like a German potato salad with some skin showing and plenty of mustard as the base. The problem was it was too chunky with a chunk of potato the size of my fist. This is just too big to bite. Banana pudding - pretty good but very sweet My colleague's sandwich was decent too, but he also had a problem with some soggy bread. The service was decent as both our soft drinks were refilled promptly. Mondays amd Tuesdays are semi slow and they close at 3; however, other days are much busier with live music mostly on Fridays and occasional Saturdays.

Apparently our server, #103 (no name on receipt) had just arrived for her shift, because it took several minutes for her to greet us, and then it was to say she'd be there in a minute. Our drinks were ordered but again, took a minute to arrive. Mother had the 7oz filet with baked potato, extra butter. It was to arrive med rare but arrived closer to med well. Oh, and no extra butter - we asked and did receive it from another server nearby. I ordered the nachos as an entree, with a side of potato soup. The soup was very good, and the nachos were huge and very tasty. The soup and nachos give it the 2 stars. Server was fairly absent during the meal. Check arrived when requested - after server reappeared. And as I'm writing this review, I realize why the bill was over $70 - I was charged for someone else's Cobb Steak Salad. (I should review my bill, but by this point my wheelchair bound mother was ready to go so I just handed her my card.) Of course, there is no voicemail for me to leave a message about this, so I guess we'll see if they read their reviews.

We were really excited to try Buffalo Luke's, but I'm afraid it left us disappointed. We are…read moreproviding TWO stars because it was clean and the staff was very friendly, but the food just didn't "do it" for us. It all started when I went to wash my hands. I washed my hands & then dried them, but the only way to open the trash can to throw away the brown 'towel"l was to physically use my hands to open it. So, I had to use my clean hands to open the top of the trash can...leave it open...and then rewash my hands so I could throw stuff away. I am not a germaphobe, but I prefer to wash my hands before I eat. There are better bathroom trash cans options at Lowe's or Home Depot that create a more efficient bathroom. Then, our food arrived. We ordered some wings and split a Philly Cheesesteak. The Philly Cheesesteak was average, but they had already run out of mushrooms (@ 11:45 in the morning). The bread on the cheesesteak was good; however, the wings were a colossal disappointment. They were so "not good" that we didn't even finish them. We REALLY wanted to enjoy Buffalo Luke's, but even the fries were overcooked. Also, when a Buffalo wings establishment charges 35¢ for an "extra" sauce (blue cheese or ranch), that is 100% fine, but the containers were so shallow that there was barely enough blue cheese in each cup for two wings. Finally, and this is picky...but it matters. I realize that times are tight because our economy is in complete shambles...so buying the cheapest paper towels from the dollar store is an easy way to save money. But, when a patron tries to pull off a "full" sheet to wipe his or her sticky fingers that are soaked in Buffalo hot sauce..,you really need a full sheet. Repeatedly, every single pull resulted in "half a sheet" (or less) because the paper towels were so cheap. So, I probably used twice as many paper towels as I actually needed...and that added frustration for me because it took away from my dining experience. I recommend purchasing better paper towels (to go with the upgraded trash can in the bathroom). Sadly, we gave Buffalo Luke's a fair shot, but we will not be returning because it just didn't cut the mustard.
