Twist Yoga community is a welcoming space with thoughtful and knowledgeable instructors. I have been practicing at the Edmonds Twist location for a couple of years and love it. The variety of classes and times make it is easy to find a class and knowing the teachers will offer challenges and modifications I feel comfortable taking all classes and levels. The online schedule is accurate and up to date, listing the variety of classes for the multiple locations. I also appreciate the ample free parking at all locations as I am often arriving just in time for class. I finally made it to check out the studio, have been thinking about it for years but now that the brew place next door is gone it seemed like the perfect opportunity. While I love beer, I wasnt sure this would make my yoga very productive. I might be thinking about beer the whole time. Room is very spacious, with a large lot out back and free street parking in front. Like most places props are available, although now mat rental is a 1$. A small amount of things are for sale, I did have my eye on a manduka mat. Lots of people go to this studio so I am suprised there are no reviews. The room is kept warm which I love. I've only taken a few classes, but so far my favorite instructors are Yvette and Michael, unfortunately it appears that they have only a few classes on the schedule, but if you get a chance do check them out. Michael is so supportive and praising, and Yvette gives the best little massage releases. If only this studio was closer to me, but it might be worth the drive. read more

Great yoga studio. I like that they have a good mix of vinyasa classes of all different levels. Unlike most vinyasa classes, the teachers here really mix up the flow to keep things interesting. Good music and good heat in the room. It is a little more spiritually focused then some other local yoga studios. It is also a few dollars more expensive then some other local studios in the area (17 dollar drop in vs 15 dollars). read more

I stumbled upon Twist per a friends recommendations, thank god for that. This place is top notch. I've been out of practice for a little bit and everyone on the staff here is loving and welcoming. The energy of Twist is so positive, I've been to many of the classes and have met most of the yoga instructors and they are all amazing. I love that all of them bring there own skill set and all of the instructors take it very serious. For me yoga is so much more then exercise, here at Twist they have the whole package deal. Love this place and I'm so glad I have found it! Intro to yoga classes are offered every so often and even teacher training if you'd like to go that route. Room is kept nice and warm so even when its cold outside you can shed all your layers and do yoga comfortably. The whole place is relaxing to me and the staff is friendly and welcoming, and even remember your name when you come back! I love having Twist in my neighborhood. The classes available are really convenient for any time of the day or week. The teachers each have their own style which i love.The studio is constantly adding new workshops or styles of yoga to their schedule. The studio brings in credited people to teach some of the workshops as well. And they have teacher training that I would highly recommend. The atmosphere is comfortable and has a true sense of community from the person at the front desk to the teachers to the others in the room practicing yoga with you. I have practiced yoga for 23 years and have never found a studio I love as much as Twist. They not only offer a rigorous physical practie, but also an in-depth education in yoga philosophy. There is always something interesting and inspiring happening here. I also teach yoga and have done many teacher trainings at Twist. I am so grateful for twist yoga! I've been practicing off and on for the past 10 years or so, but this is the first studio that I've ever devoted myself to. For years I went from studio to studio throughout the Seattle area trying to find this elusive mix between a great asana practice & teachers that would educate me on more of yoga's core philosophies. At Twist I finally found it! Each teacher is unique and all of them have something fascinating to teach. Sure, you get a work out from all of them- but that is just the tip of the iceberg. I've learned so much about my body, how to safely push my limits, beliefs in myself I didn't know I had, mantras, mudras, chants, how to really deepen my practice physically and psychologically and best of all, I have some kick ass back muscles that I never even realized I was getting! My daughter and I moved to Edmonds in June and I joined Twist in the Fall. I had been off yoga for a year and I liked that they had a full range of classes from gentle to vinyasa. I absolutely love it here! They have classes at all times of the day, so there is no excuse not to go. Every instructor I have taken from is amazing and the owner, Jen, is truly a nice person who cares about her studio and students. Twist Vinyasa Yoga has great teachers and a wonderful atmosphere. They have enough teachers so that the schedule is always consistent (i.e. not many cancelled classes, even on holidays), and you can't find a bad class. The location is great, especially if you live in Edmonds. All in all, it's a really nice yoga studio. read more

I love this studio. It's like 5 minutes from my house. I've never done yoga before, but I've always wanted to try. I did the two weeks unlimited for $30 and it recently expired. Drop in classes are something like $13, cheaper than the other yoga studios I've been to. All of the instructors are incredibly helpful and friendly. I am definitely going back. read more
