Love this place! If you're not into fried foods then this is the place for you! All the meat here is grilled and all the toppings are fresh. Any wrap they have you can turn it into a salad. I ordered my food to go online, it was ready to go upon arrival. I ordered the chicken gyro wrap 10/10. The Buffalo chicken and west coast wraps are a must try as well!

For less than 13 bucks I got a delicious Thai chicken wrap, 3 cookies, and a water. Tasty wrap with real basil and delicious aioli which was frankly more like Honey French dressing but what gives. It was a good wrap.

Chicken Cashew Avocado Bowl

I usually get the mahi mahi tacos which are delicious! This time I decided to branch out and get the chicken cashew avocado bowl. It was a great decision! All the flavors blended nicely and the sriracha was a great compliment to the bowl. Service was quick but I know it also depends on what you order. Remember that good food sometimes takes a minute to get it right. The restaurant is very clean but it's not really like an amazing interior. They are putting out some delicious meals though!

Always so many options! We are in versus takeout we have done before. The have high top & table height seating. A few tables outside but not with umbrellas. The food is made fresh when you order. Service was VERY polite & well mannered!! The burger was large and flavorful- I didn't add anything but lettuce, tomato & pickles. The potato salad was not bland ( I always worry about that) it had a bit of zing. My husband gave the wrap a thumbs up as well!

Carne Asada Tacos

We visited the north KC Twisted Fresh location for a late lunch on a Saturday. The menu is an eccentric blend of tacos, burgers, and wraps. You can make each entree a combo for $3 more. The tacos come in sets of 3, and are hard shell inside a soft tortilla and a layer of cheese. I had the steak tacos, and he had the chicken. Both were so good! We made our order a combo, and found that the sides are no afterthought. We selected the broccoli salad and potato salad-both sides were very good. Next time Im in the area, Id definitely consider another stop here to try more of their menu items!

Mahi Mahi Taco

I was in the area and decided to stop by before heading home. The food here was spot-on. Everything tasted fresh and had a lot of flavor. I ordered the mahi-mahi tacos and they were delicious. I like that you can see the cooks as they are preparing your food, so you can tell that it is prepared fresh. It took longer than I expected to get my food. I went inside to order my food and saw that there was only 1 other person in there, so I figured it'd be pretty quick. They must have had a lot of call-in or online orders because there was a lot of food being cooked before I got my food. They wait was longer than expected, but the food was great.

Kids Mac & Cheese

Not sure what's happened, but seems like the business has really gone downhill in the last year or so. My wife got the Mahi tacos, and they were fine! We paid $6+ for a kids macaroni, which is clearly a microwaved bowl of premade Kraft. It had the texture of macaroni that's been kept for leftovers. It was entirely dry and had zero taste. Never observed my kid turn away mac and cheese before; first time for everything. Finally, I ordered a $12+ burger and got home to see it wasn't made correctly... no biggie. Stopped back in later and picked up the new burger. Complete silence from the staff. No, 'sorry about that' or any other attempt to make things right, just a silent handoff of the old/cold food and the newly made sandwich. Fortunately, lots of barbecue was dumped on top the patty, because it was cooked like an absolute hockey puck. Couldn't tell you about the quality of ingredients due to hardly being able to chew and swallow it. You can check out the picture attached... the inside was literally falling off in pieces. We won't be back...

I wish I would've had more time to look around the market because it looked like they had a lot of good stuff but I'll have to go back and see. They do have tables inside that you can eat at. The food was done at the quoted time and was accurate. The one individual I encountered was friendly. The menu was very straightforward-tacos, burritos, and a few other items, all can be customized. I had to get an order of chips and queso. I really liked their queso. It had good flavor and wasn't overly spicy. The chips were fresh and held up to the queso nicely. I'm definitely probably alway going to order this when I go. I also tried a taco with carne asada. The tacos are the street variety but they are really good sized. They don't skimp on the meat. And the carne asada was really good. No gristle or gross bits. It was chopped finely and I'd definitely order it again. I also had to try a burrito. I tried the El pastor for that and added on all the toppings-cheese, sour cream, lettuce, tomato, and avocado. I also opted for extra meat because it was super cheap-like $1, so why not? Again, I was not disappointed. I did throw my burrito on the good 'ol George Foreman when I got home because they don't grill it at all and I wanted some grill marks on that tortilla. Otherwise, the el pastor was flavorful and tender and the toppings were all fresh. Per usual, my eyes were bigger than my stomach so I saved half of my burrito, but it was a welcome leftover meal the following day. Definitely check them out if you're on the boulevard and want some tasty, Mexican grub.

I've had birria tacos and we usually get a bunch of tamales as well! We freeze some and eat on them later. Yum! Everything is good and authentic. Everyone we have encountered has been nice. We will definitely stop back by when we are in the area!

I just took a swing at it, picked up a menu, and stood there. It took a while for somebody to acknowledge that I was there. The person who took my order was super involved, which is cool, but they needed some help, and the person who came by to help them seemed to be rather impatient, so that was one of the first things I noticed. They do bring your food out in a reasonable amount of time, delivered to your table. You have a number that attaches to a metal wand that they give to you. So the water station is set up in the back, you get your own water, but they were out of cups. They had a really cool aesthetic to it, with like the garage door where you can see all the downtown. The only problem was that the sun went down, and it started to get rather cold. Nobody ever closed the door, but I ordered the Asada fries. 3/5 heavy on the seasoning, but not so much on the flavor, it came across. It's kind of salty. I thought it would be different than what it was. The portion size was fine, and the green sauce that they offer you on the side really makes it better. Also ordered the CHORI queso dip lied on the chorizo for the portion size. The flavor was also a three out of five. The chip that they give you with it has a nice, good texture and reasonable seasoning. My wife had the mushroom Tinga tacos. She gave him four out of five. She really enjoyed them. The atmosphere is cool. The weights staff are really cool. I'd consider coming back on a Thursday. They have this cool thing that you can try new and upcoming dishes, and then they also have brunch, so I'm thinking about giving them a second shot. If you've never been, you should come and see what your opinion is, but really cool aesthetics and great views.

Ordering is usually at a kiosk or with a member of the staff. It's fast casual, so set expectations that way in terms of service. Kansas City has good tacos (all over KCK especially.) I'd classify these taxos as slightly upscale, but totally worth the extra cost. The quality, care and love from the team shows. The corn tortillas are hand made with a gorgeous masa made from organic corn. You can smell and taste the difference. I usually get 3 tacos and split a side of totopos and salsa molcajete. I usually get the Al Pastor, Pescado (fried fish) and Camaron Poblano (Shrimp). The Salsas also have a wonderful luck of spiciness. I highly recommend the Spicy Margarita which is not for the faint of heart but not so spicy that you're calling the fire brigade. Great lime base, solid tequila, and sliced jalapeños make for a refreshing and enjoyable cocktail. The Carne Asada Tacos are a good choice, maybe a touch light on the carne, however, but tasty. Pricing is what it is for the location. A couple could get in & out with a cocktail and dinner for around $60, so that's reasonable.
