I had few times bad experiences with mechanic. So I don't trust them completely and dealer always overcharged or unknown charge. Last time I got oil change from dealer. They recommended to fix rear break pad for $199.95. Every time I went there, I felt they charged too much and unknown charges. So I asked my fiancé about it and he suggested 'International Auto Repairs' at Winder near Auburn. It is a little far from my house but I was looking for honest mechanic and I wanted to know what is real problem. Definitely, I am so glad to bring my car there. He only charged $89.95 and took time to check everything. Wayne who is owner and has experience more than 20 years and Andrew who is manager and also long experience kept letting me know what they have done and how long I have to wait. They are very gentle and sweet. During waiting, I notice the shop is extremely clean and organized. I felt very comfortable when I was there. Now I don't have to worry about my car after they fixed completely. I am so glad to know honest and kind mechanics and reasonable price. Definitely, I like to recommend this place to all my friends. (I pick the coupon at there -purchase 5 oil changes and receive the 6th for free! I think it's pretty good deal)

I've taken my Toyota Tundra here several times to get work done and they always resolved the issue in a very short amount of time. Their quotes and their prices are within reason. Just the other day, my wife had a problem with a window on her Nissan. I was away at work and she decided to take her car to the Premier Nissan Mall of Georgia Dealership on Buford Drive. She informed them that she had an engine light on and all the widows periodically would not roll up or down all the way. They charged my wife a diagnostic fee of 185.00 for each identified issue, with other fees and tax that came to $381.00 (includes a charge for credit card usage for payment). As part of their assessment, they determined that only 1 window motor needed to be replaced and the O2 Sensor needed replacing. In addition, they provided quotes for replacing the tires and wheel alignment. The total repair for the two issues we brought the car in for came to approximately $1,450. If my wife would have agreed to the other suggested quotes for tires and the alignment, the total would be $2,234.02!!! That's ridiculous!!!! $862.26 for replacing one motor, when all the windows in her 4-door car was having problems. Thank goodness I was able to go with her to discuss their assessment. I advise my wife we need to take her car to this Japanese Auto Repair, which I've used many times before. After dropping the car off, Japanese Auto Repair informed us that they just simply reset the window control mechanism, which resolved all the problems with the windows not going up and down correctly. This was done at no charge ($0) to us. Next, they required the part (O2 Sensor) which they would have on hand the next day. Next day, as promised, they called and informed me that my wife's car was repaired and ready for pickup. I am very pleased with the service we get from this location and will send my wife, our kids and all our friends there for all future service activities on her car. If you want quality auto service performing your Japanese vehicle, then I recommend using Japanese Auto Repair!!! Just to conclude this review, I want to share what it cost to actually resolve the problems with my wife's car. The total repair cost from Japanese Auto Repair was $301, which was less than what my wife had to pay the Dealer's incorrect diagnostic fee ($380).

Matt and team took the time to properly diagnose my vehicle and worked through the logical steps before recommending major repairs. They even found one issue that was simply a disconnected component, and fixed it on the spot without taking advantage of the situation. I didn't get a "sorry it took twice as long" or any kind of acknowledgment that I'd basically been lied to--twice. Owner lied to me (again) and said that the reason the patch took so long was because the plug was leaking air. I told him that IF that was true, it wouldn't matter if there's a leak or not because the plug should be removed before the patch is applied (my husband's a trained mechanic). I brought my Ford F150 to Joey Watkins Tire & Automotive after the truck stalled and had to be…read moretowed on 05/31/26 from the Target parking lot in Flowery Branch. Prior to stalling, the truck had been jerking, sputtering during acceleration, and losing power while driving. After evaluating the truck, I was told the spark plugs needed to be replaced. I approved the repair and paid $509.19. I was then told the truck was fixed. Unfortunately, shortly after leaving, the exact same issue happened again. The truck began sputtering and completely died near Friendship Road and I985, creating a dangerous situation in traffic and resulting in another emergency tow that cost me an additional $300. I returned the truck and explained that the issue was still occurring. However, because the truck happened to start for them during testing, I was told they could not replicate the problem and did not know what was wrong. I specifically asked about fuel system concerns because the symptoms felt fuel related, but no diagnosis was made beyond the spark plugs. At that point, I no longer trusted the truck to be safe to drive and took it directly across the street to Christian Brothers Automotive Buford for a second opinion. Shortly after arriving there, the truck stalled again while they were attempting to move it into the service bay. Because the failure occurred while connected to diagnostics, they were able to pull active fault codes indicating issues with the fuel pump and fuel pump control module. I ultimately authorized approximately $2,000 in repairs for the actual problem. In retrospect, the spark plug replacement appears to have been more of a guess at the problem than an actual diagnosis, especially considering the symptoms remained exactly the same immediately afterward and the real issue turned out to be fuel system related. To be fair, intermittent mechanical issues can be difficult to diagnose, and the staff was polite throughout the process. However, I am disappointed that I spent over $500 on repairs that did not address the issue at all, followed by another breakdown and tow immediately after being told the vehicle was fixed. Given the safety risk involved with a vehicle stalling in traffic, I expected a more thorough diagnostic process before being told the truck was repaired.

Told me he could have the part within a few hours and I'd have my car back around lunchtime. He kept his word. He was honest, upfront and reasonable. My car now runs beautifully. For giggles, my husband called the dealership to get pricing for the same work and was quoted over 40% more and they would have my car for 2 days!!! It's hard to find an honest mechanic, so I challenge you to give Gann's a try. If I ever have any major issues in the future, I wouldn't think twice about using them.

As a mom who had just been in a recent car accident, hearing that my car was "dangerous" was extremely stressful. I felt pressured and rushed into purchasing a new vehicle I hadn't planned on buying. Before selling my car, I decided to get a second opinion at CarMax. They found nothing wrong with the engine and ended up buying the car from me for $7,000. Being given incorrect information in that situation caused unnecessary stress and financial impact. I strongly recommend getting a second opinion before accepting major repair advice from this shop. I will not be returning and cannot recommend this business.
