He also took full responsibility and refunded my evacuation/recharge cost. He apologized and spoke to all involved to change how they handled my situation. I will give them another chance as they took accountability and made it right. Grayson Tire & Auto - so disappointed in their service and support. I had this shop repair my AC in September 2025 and experienced a strange issue where the AC would not turn on when the car was parked on hot days. I garage park my car so I rarely experienced the issue. With this hot weather recently the issue regularly appeared. I took it in as I had a two year warranty. After having the car for half a day they insisted nothing was wrong. They begrudgingly agreed to test again. After a few hours of the car parked in the hot sun, they saw the problem. They subsequently told me the Freon and PAC oil was way out of specs and I needed an evac and recharge. The problem is they were the only people to touch the AC and last to evac/recharge. When I explained this, they stated it was my fault as I must have had someone else work on it. I told them no one else but them worked on it. They said that is impossible. I pointed out how it could happen and they said even if they did make a mistake the Freon is not covered under warranty. When they originally fixed my AC they had issues and had to install a second compressor. Yet they stated they don't make mistakes. Customers vote with their wallet and they lost this customer of several years who has spent thousands on various services. Shame on you Grayson Tire & Automotive, do better. I will no longer recommend them on this platform.

I found Gann's Automotive on Yelp and after calling around, I decided to give them a try…read more I spoke to Paul (the owner), told him what I heard and gave my own personal diagnosis ( thank goodness I'm not a mechanic..gotta learn to stay in my lane ). He was concerned and told me to be at his shop first thing the next morning. Left the car with him and he called me within an hour to tell me what the real issue was. Told me he could have the part within a few hours and I'd have my car back around lunchtime. He kept his word. He was honest, upfront and reasonable. My car now runs beautifully. For giggles, my husband called the dealership to get pricing for the same work and was quoted over 40% more and they would have my car for 2 days!!! It's hard to find an honest mechanic, so I challenge you to give Gann's a try. If I ever have any major issues in the future, I wouldn't think twice about using them.

As a mom who had just been in a recent car accident, hearing that my car was "dangerous" was extremely stressful. I felt pressured and rushed into purchasing a new vehicle I hadn't planned on buying. Before selling my car, I decided to get a second opinion at CarMax. They found nothing wrong with the engine and ended up buying the car from me for $7,000. Being given incorrect information in that situation caused unnecessary stress and financial impact. I strongly recommend getting a second opinion before accepting major repair advice from this shop. I will not be returning and cannot recommend this business.

He use to be the one to pick me up at my home and bring me to pick up my car. Or take me home if my car had to spend the night. He was so young and eager to learn now he has 4 kids! They do not pressure you to get anything done but they explain in detail what needs to be done. Robert is an employee that is very personable and goes in depth letting you know what is wrong or what could go wrong if something isn't taken care of soon. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for an honest reliable auto repair/ service place. I brought my Ford F150 to Joey Watkins Tire & Automotive after the truck stalled and had to be…read moretowed on 05/31/26 from the Target parking lot in Flowery Branch. Prior to stalling, the truck had been jerking, sputtering during acceleration, and losing power while driving. After evaluating the truck, I was told the spark plugs needed to be replaced. I approved the repair and paid $509.19. I was then told the truck was fixed. Unfortunately, shortly after leaving, the exact same issue happened again. The truck began sputtering and completely died near Friendship Road and I985, creating a dangerous situation in traffic and resulting in another emergency tow that cost me an additional $300. I returned the truck and explained that the issue was still occurring. However, because the truck happened to start for them during testing, I was told they could not replicate the problem and did not know what was wrong. I specifically asked about fuel system concerns because the symptoms felt fuel related, but no diagnosis was made beyond the spark plugs. At that point, I no longer trusted the truck to be safe to drive and took it directly across the street to Christian Brothers Automotive Buford for a second opinion. Shortly after arriving there, the truck stalled again while they were attempting to move it into the service bay. Because the failure occurred while connected to diagnostics, they were able to pull active fault codes indicating issues with the fuel pump and fuel pump control module. I ultimately authorized approximately $2,000 in repairs for the actual problem. In retrospect, the spark plug replacement appears to have been more of a guess at the problem than an actual diagnosis, especially considering the symptoms remained exactly the same immediately afterward and the real issue turned out to be fuel system related. To be fair, intermittent mechanical issues can be difficult to diagnose, and the staff was polite throughout the process. However, I am disappointed that I spent over $500 on repairs that did not address the issue at all, followed by another breakdown and tow immediately after being told the vehicle was fixed. Given the safety risk involved with a vehicle stalling in traffic, I expected a more thorough diagnostic process before being told the truck was repaired.

Both began tinkering with cars at a very young age. Emily the assistant there is just as humble as Howard and Brian. She is super friendly too. In my experience of taking my vehicle there when needed over the last 30+ years, they always finish the repairs on my car in an excellent timely manner. Howard runs a successful business without ripping peaple off. They will never overcharge their customers.
