Superbad burger

My coworker is vegan so we came here twice while visiting for the Cheese Expo a few days and the whole experience here was amazing both times. The restaurant was clean when we dined in. I ordered the fried pickles and a caramel shake the first time. Both items were really good! The pickles were seasoned to perfection and the shake was flavorful. The second time I ordered the 'Superbad' burger and that was super tasty as well. The workers were so nice and welcoming. I absolutely recommend trying this place even if you're not vegan

The food here is delicious. And the service was friendly and the food was cooked to order. It is 100% vegan, but certainly not health food--definitely a cheat meal. The mozzarella sticks are delicious. The burgers, hot dogs, wings, and fries are all flavorful, fresh, and hot. They use my favorite pretzel buns. You really can't go wrong with anything on the menu. I wish there was a Twisted Plants closer to home. I would go weekly!

I was in town for the weekend visiting family period at the time. I was on these hawks, so I wasn't trying to eat any meat, and I stumbled across this location through the yelp. I thought that I read.It was black owned, but i'm not sure. Our meal was pretty tasty, but the standout star was definitely the vegan milkshake. Oh my God, it was everything I refused to share it. It was a strawberry every shortcake.

Between the chill atmosphere, the amazing service from both FOH & BOH and the top notch music playlist. Everything was 5 stars. would definitely recommend giving this place a try if you haven't, you will not be disappointed. The names of the items are good but the taste is better than expected.

My lovely lady friend and I happened to be in Milwaukee and just got off a boat ride around town and Lake Michigan. Wanted to hit another spot the neighborhood was a bit noisy and seating wasn't the best. We headed back. Found a spot to park nearby and it wasn't busy. Disclaimer. I enjoyed my meal and she wasn't that great on it. She went all natural and I ate whatever they had. Maybe too much. Imagine a veggie Chicago Dog and a Veggie burger... In one sitting.

This place is the bomb. They have amazing burgers and sandwiches and wings and vegan ice cream and shakes. First the things I did not love. We got the sweet chili cauliflower wings. Too much sauce. They were kind of soggy. The criss cross fries seemed to be very oily. Now got the great part. I order the Pineapple Express burger and this one was really good. Also got the carrot cake shake. So good. My wife got the strawberry cheesecake shake. Really good. Will probably come again but skip the fries and wings.

Hello vegan deliciousness! Whether you're vegan or not, these vegan eats are sure to please. I've visited their Cudahy location several times and most recently ordered delivery via grubhub for this location--all amazing. Their up in smoke 'burger' is saucy, juicy, smokey and delicious. It truly rivals any burger (meat or meatless) around. The flavors are all so perfectly blended that it's the one burger in memory that I didn't pull the pickles off of. Why? Because their flavor blended perfectly without overwhelming the other flavors of the burger. Holy smokes, it was outstanding. For my side, I opted for their tater tots over fries (though I've had and do enjoy their fries). There was no upcharge for this and the tots were everything tots ought to be. The delivery experience was great with everything arriving hot and intact. Get to it!

I stumbled upon Twisted Plants while scrolling to find a place to order take out. They have such a cool and fun vegetarian/vegan menu, so I wanted to give them a try! I ordered the superbad burger (grilled onions, jalapeños, chipotle ranch, plant based patty, pepper jack cheese) with fries as my side. The fries were delicious and crispy! The burger was fine, but overall felt sort of too mushy and overtaken by the cheese. You couldn't really taste the ranch or other toppings. I'll have to dine in and try a different item next time!

Really great vegan junk food spot. The cauliflower wings were crisp and fried to perfection. Sweet chili sauce was good but I think it had a bit too much, which was my only very small complaint! The chicken sandwich was very tasty - crispy and flavorful, great textures, great soft bun. Would def come back and try something else! It was pretty busy for a week night at 6 but didn't wait very long for food and there were plenty of tables.

Didn't plan on eating vegan or vegetarian but my friend did so I just followed in and had the Friday burger with waffle fries! Omg that is amazing. And the dairy free ranch? What! So good. Would definitely make this place a stop more often if I lived out here. Staff were very kind and I dig the area, cool neighborhood! I think it's called Lower East Side like NY. Hip area and that burger was so good. That pretzel roll. Amazing! I'm craving it again right now! Cheers, Thank you

Amazing food..can NOT believe it's all plant base! Our Milwaukee-based daughter suggested lunch here today. We are not a vegetarian/vegan but we like to try new things & so glad we did! Veg doesn't have to mean tasteless & this place proves veg can be delicious goodness! Banana shake thick, rich & creamy! Mozz Sticks were better than ANY "real" we have ever eaten! Pineapple Express burger was out of this world! Waffle fries were crispy, tasty & fluffy freshness inside. Very hip happening joint on Brady Street. Great staff very friendly!

AH-MAZING vegan comfort food sold here!! This is their second location; this one's a little more spacious inside. SOUL PLANE - I ordered this spicy, with bacon, and extra chipotle mayo, no tomatoes. Finger licking yumminess! THIS IS THE END - loaded fries - I customize mine with no queso, no ranch, sub extra chipotle mayo instead- FIRE!!! I loved their Caramel Shake and will likely always order it, unless I just want to try another flavor. I tried the pineapple slushy and it was just ok. I think I'll stick to the shakes as my dessert drink of choice. Twisted Plants is the perfect place for vegans to introduce their non vegan friends to how delicious meat-free eating can be. I still need to make my way through more of their menu items, so I cannot wait to return to the area.

Is their plant-based burger patty house made or an impossible or beyond meat type? What brand is it if store bought?

I believe they use Gardein plant based patties.

I have been wanting to go to Odd Duck for so long, and I finally got the chance and it did not…read moredisappoint! We had a wonderful experience dining here! Our server, Adam, was quick and attentive. He was funny, suggested items for us to try, and was very tentative of our friend's food allergy. We started the night with a few drinks; #39 non-alcoholic Paloma, #129 non-alcoholic sbagiato, and #33 Sherry Pear-Y. All of which were absolutely amazing! Then we ordered the Chili Crisp Deviled Eggs (comes with two pieces), Crispy Thai-Style Oyster Mushrooms, Cappelletti, Slow-braised Bison Cheek, Cha Ca La Vong (Catfish), and the Wood-fired Bavette Steak. Where do I begin? First off, everything was fantastic! Delicious, creative, and memorable. Some dishes even had us ordering seconds! First the Chili Crisp Deviled Eggs: so creamy! We ended up ordering another plate of them (four orders) because one wasn't enough for the four of us. The Crispy Thai-Style Oyster Mushroom: insanely seasoned! It was crispy and the kick of the Thai chili peppers, made it our tables favorite (we ordered another plate of this)! The bits of crunch rice mixed in was also a pleasant surprise. The bits of green beans and cucumber was a nice way to cool the kick of the spices. The Slow-braised Bison Cheek: It was very interesting. Very soft and when paired with the polenta cake, mozzarella, and carrot, it tasted amazing. Cha Ca La Vong (Catfish): Also very interesting. It tastes very similar to a Vietnamese catfish soup! The pineapple fish sauce paired amazing with the glass noodles. The only complaint I have about this dish, was that the glass noodles weren't fully cooked, so they were a bit hard. The Wood-fired Bavette Steak: My god, this was amazing! It was perfectly cooked, the dark chocolate bordelaise paired with the mushrooms and steak was incredible. Like I said, everything was amazing! Our table was blown away with the creativity and quality of the food. The service was amazing, everyone was very sweet and helpful. The atmosphere was lovely and quirky. It was fun spotting all the duck decorations. Honestly, cannot rave enough about this place, I look forward to the next time I visit!

The servers here know the menu very well which was super helpful when deciding what we wanted to order. The food was good but out of the 4 dishes we ordered the Tempura Nori Roll GIMMARI was the only memorable item to me and our server said it would be rotated off of the menu. I can tell that there has been a lot of care and detail put into the experience here and I can really appreciate that.

I actually came here this past Sunday and was not quite sure what to expect as I have never been…read morehere before. They had a wide variety of gain bowls, salads and wraps to choose from and they all looked good. I ended up choosing the Asian BBQ grain bowl and a hibiscus tepache to drink. Let me start by saying, I did not realize how big the grain bowls were. They are big enough for either two people to share or for one very hungry person. I could not eat it all because the portion size we just huge. The bowl had so much flavor and a little kick of spice--just enough from the poblanos to make it a tad spicy but not so much your mouth was burning. The BBQ sauce melded with the grain well too and added a little bit of sweetness to the bowl. Overall, the bowl was great and I would definitely order another one or try some of their other options as well. The tepache tasted similar to kombucha if you have never had once. This was my first time trying it so that was the only thing I could relate it too. The hibiscus flavor was nice and light but overall I would just get a water next time--I just do not think I am a kombucha or tepache person.

I give it high marks for complex flavors, a thoughtfully curated menu, awesome location (inside public market) and honestly one of the most polite servers I've come across in a while. I visited as part of Milwaukee's first-ever Wellness Week (January 2026) and went to pick up dinner to go for my husband and I. I ordered the cashew bowl which exceeded my expectations and my husband liked this chicken bacon wrap - he was surprised how big it was. If I still worked downtown this place would be one of my top lunch spots. A few things to know before you go: - They are cashless - they have an App for rewards / cash back with purchases - New seasonal flavors which means always something to look forward to in case you like to mix things up - they sell Wisconsin brewed Kombuchas by the can - chooose between wraps, salads, bowls - you can build your own bowl and get exactly what you want

Back in the day, there was fresh roasted coffee on Saturday evenings, but the food is still fantastic. We sat at a table this time, I prefer the 'pedestal' personally. If you're feeling a little adventurous just do it. It can be intimidating to not have utensils- you just tear off a piece of the Injera (like sourdough crepe) and pick up what you want to eat. Not everything is spicy- but some is, so if you're not up for spice, be careful. There are lots of vegan options and it's ok to call the waitstaff over (he doesn't like to interrupt).

Upon entry, we were amazed by the ambiance and vibes of the place. There were traditional Ethipoian art works and decors hung on the walls which were absolutely beautiful. It was our first time trying Ethiopian so we were confused, however the staff were extremely helpful and gave us great recommendations. For a group of 5, we got the vegetarian combo and it came on a large platter on top of injera bread. Every single Wat was spiced to perfection and it surprisingly reminded me of Indian food. The injera was soft and delicious and was a perfect pairing with each Wat. The food was satisfying and the flavors were warm and homey. This restaurant will definitely be getting multiple visits from us in the future!
