Their ice cream is very clearly homemade and you can taste the love that went into making it. They use real ingredients and it is some of the best ice cream I've ever had. Their popsicles are also made specifically for this shop and they are awesome. On our first visit here, my wife had strawberry cheesecake ice cream and I had oreo ice cream. We loved both. Coming through the area again, this time with our friend George, my wife got blueberry ice cream, which was delicious (I got to taste it), and I got a peanut butter ice cream that was excellent. We were also looking at popsicles today and got some to try. My wife tried the coffee/cappuccino one, which was very strong but good, she said. I saw "lemon" on the menu board and asked for it. I got "limon", or lime instead. I was very happy with it though, and loved the flavor. I'd definitely get it again. All in all, a very happy visit to this neat little place today. (I just sent new, correct, updated info to Yelp for review.) They do breakfast, Dominican & other Latino food, as well as serving ice cream. It's a spacious place, nicely decorated, with great "feng shui". There are 7 large-sized, comfortable booths and 6 tables. The service is friendly & efficient. My 2 eggs sunny side up were cooked perfectly, as were the home fries. There was ketchup and a nice green Picamas hot sauce, and plenty of jelly for the buttered toast. The coffee is solid diner coffee. I was so impressed, I came back today and had the same breakfast, but with delicious sausage links added. Everything was great again. I was warned that I should arrive at 8:30am when it opens because of the intense, passionate customers that tend to come in droves beginning at 9 -- just 30 minutes after the dawn of Dawn and Dusk. I didn't believe the hype, so I thought I could just stroll in at 8:38am, on a warm 78-degree Saturday morning. Well. To no one's surprise but my own, I arrived to a donut truck with a line that spanned across the parking lot. Disappointed in my alarm clock, I walked to the back of the line. I was shocked, however, at how quickly the line was vaporized with speedy donut delivery and the smiles of 4 dessert angels behind the donut doors. Soon it was my turn, and it Dawned on me that I had no clue what to order. Oh Dusk. I quickly skimmed the menu, stopping at the Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough creation. I've never seen anything like it before. A chocolate chip cookie dough donut? I must have it. I placed my order with the cashier, I think her name was Addi. I said, "One chocolate chip cookie dough, please." "That's it?" Nervous, I nodded. I had just brushed my teeth 15 minutes prior (silly me) and hadn't seen the dentist in some time. Still, I knew it was bad practice to consume so much sugar this early in the morning. Addi shot a look to Melon in the back and they exchanged words, muffled by the sounds of the Donut Hero father-son duo Moe And Noel. I paid for my single donut, and minutes later I was delivered 3 beautiful, mouth-watering, delectable, Instagram-worthy creations. Unbelievable. Melon exclaimed, "You have to try these other ones! Strawberries and cream is the best, but this one is my favorite." Pointing to what seemed to be some maple cinnamon treat. I couldn't even make out the words that came out of her mouth as she described the donuts. I was stunned. Not only was I gifted with 3 donuts for the price of one, but my entire morning had now shifted. Knowing this was no ordinary donut experience, I exclaimed my thanks and ran back to my car -- rushing to get home. I couldn't eat this like a normal donut, no. I had to get back to my house, sit in my favorite recliner, turn on Netflix to watch my favorite show -- Bojack Horseman -- and I grabbed my carton of apple juice (sorry mom, I'll stop drinking from the carton one day). I bit into each donut, one by one, and it's amazing that I'm still alive to write this review. The donuts sucked. Just kidding. But, really, I can't even begin to describe the exquisite taste that was delivered to me on this fine Saturday morning. No, I couldn't do it justice -- you'll just have to go and try them for yourself. I'm not really one for lots of words anyways. Thank you, Melon, Addi, Moe and Noel. You have changed my life forever.
