    Greek Salad with Jerk Chicken.

Going Back Again! When my kids say they like the food, then it must be good. Especially my son. Polite staff, good pricing. Was not hungry after eating mine two hours later. Fresh and tasty.

I was in the area and I saw this place had pretty good reviews. First off, the guy whose in the front (I think he's Haitian) is not the person who should be greeting first time customers. I asked him questions about the menu and he's watching Tv, not really making eye contact, and taking the longest pregnant pauses in between each sentence as if he's not sure what he's trying to say. I had to redirect his attention a number of times while trying to place my order. I ordered the tuna rice bowl and got one of their juices. The tuna rice bowl was very heavy and definitely worth the price. The juice was good; however, I was surprised to see my attentive server pour pineapple juice from the can in there. I thought everything was suppose to be fresh. Despite my encounter I would come back here again. Hopefully Mr. Attentive won't be there.

I paid $7.08 for a small. The sign says 6.50 ... that's .58 cents tax that is not advertised.

Just came from this place like 20 minutes ago. Wow it's so sad to read these comments, especially when this business has so much potential. Twisted roots I've decided to give you guys a 3 STAR and here is why. So when most people go to get juices, it's because they are usually making a healthy decision (for the moment) and they want to feel good about it! When someone walks into your business YOU SHOULD BE EXCITED! This is a juice bar! Not your average Jamaican restaurant. Be perky, be happy! When I walked in this morning it seemed like they barely wanted to say hi. Then there was a lady that worked there who was standing behind the bar just staring at me the entire time (as i tried to take pictures for this yelp review lol). Also ... the juice I ordered wasn't that great. I LOVE ginger but the ginger was so strong it tasted like pepper in my throat (I ordered the "not so common"). In my opinion The staff who works there (family or not) needs to be A. Retrained (and held to a certain standard) or B. Replaced. This is coming from a food service chef/professional with 10 years of experience. Will I go back? Maybe ... maybe not. But if I do... I'm going to watch with a magnifying glass as they make my drink. If people are paying $7.08 for a small drink, next time give them a tasty drink with some excellent customer service. We WANT to support a black business... please don't make it so HARD.

I like this place. The juices are good and affordable. I'm glad it's right down the block, something healthy for once in the neighborhood. The Acai bowl is very good for $5

BEST SERVICE I'VE RECIEVED IN A LONG TIME AT A BUSINESS, HANDS DOWN!! My boyfriend and I were looking for a healthy food spot to grab a quick lunch before we hit the rode to do our Christmas shopping and we came across this hidden gem in Brooklyn. I've never felt more at home inside of food spot. They greeted us immediately with warm smiles and delicious samples of their chicken and split pea soup, as we looked over their menu to decide what we wanted. They answered all of our questions and made great suggestions. I got this delicious salad that was literally jam packed. I've never been so full off a salad. You really get your moneys worth here. While we waited for our order to be ready, we got to sample their famous Kerlie's smoothie, the smoothie my boyfriend had created and the salad I ordered. I was so full off the samples, before I even got to eat my order. It made me feel like I was at my grandmother's house because she never let's you leave on a empty stomach. Their samples are a great size and jam packed with flavor. I was extremely surprised how giving and kind these people were. Defintely not used to that attitude in Brooklyn. This is currently my new favorite natural food spot in Brooklyn. They defintely give you your money's worth and so much more!!

    The $10 "panini".........

This is a juice place. I REPEAT. This is a juice place. DO NOT buy food from here. I ordered a panini & got a greasy pa-sandwich...yes, that's white bread! Where they do this at????? Oh, and this "panini" cost $10. Yup.

The cafe is a great place to work, read, or just chill out alone or with a friend or with a very small group. Another bonus, they had Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone playing on the projector screen located on the back wall.

The staff are some of the nicest people I've ever met and are so understanding with customers (I would go in and buy one large iced mocha with two extra shots of espresso and then work on my laptop for a bit.) There is internet and it is open 24hrs. Sometimes it can get super packed up but even then it's worth the line and they get through heavy rushes pretty fast honestly. Plus it gets packed for a reason, it's the best. I can't have dairy anymore but they actually have a load of dairy free options for drinks and food and overall it's just a very thoughtful place. If you want to try some of the best coffees/teas/chai lattes in all of New York, head over to their crown heights or Coney Island locations and you will NOT be disappointed. I've probably had a couple hundred drinks from there in the past but y'all ready know when I make it to New York next, Chocolatte is my first stop

Both were incredible and I felt immensely better afterwards. I later returned on several occasions and tried their Moon Milk, which is a delicious mixture of turmeric, cardamom, coconut and ashwahganda, the Key to the Garden drink (coconut, nutmeg, cacao, cinnamon and maple), their vanilla chocolate chip cookies and regular chocolate chip cookies. You can get these drinks hot or iced. I had all of them iced! I also had one of the best iced matcha lattes ever from here with sweet coconut milk. WOW. From what I've seen, baked goods change daily and their drink menus change semi often as well, which is exciting!! Outside, there is some seating, lovely items and books for purchase and a window to order, as well as the menu items displayed on boards and items around the space. Inside is quite similar, but with more items for sale and more seating. The vibes are immaculate and this seems to be a space that's community centered and has an emphasis on carrying items made by local artists. Remember to bring cash to tip. I cannot wait until my next visit here!!

You realize it's cluttered with a bunch of knickknacks and other games and accessories that. Some of the items inside look like they're either for sale or just meant for display, which is fine, but I feel like it distracts from the main purpose, which is serving food and being a comfortable resting spot. It's no fault of the place, but the vibe is a mix of reggae, African folk music, and incense, and it contrasts sharply with the environment outside. There's an Italian restaurant across the street blasting Frank Sinatra type music, so the clash is noticeable. I feel like maybe the sound could be adjusted or balanced somehow. As part of the promotion, I ordered the vegan lentil soup. It was okay, nothing special but not bad. Then I was served an iced chai latte, and most of the spices sank to the bottom under the ice. After I swirled it, the spices still didn't have much flavor. It wasn't strong or pungent, and you couldn't really taste the spices or feel any of the digestive benefits chai is usually known for. It didn't taste like tea; it was just mildly sweet. I could see myself drinking it with a dessert, but it didn't stand out on its own. The service was friendly. I hope this place the best and want it to succeed but it needs to literally clean up.
