I wanted to share my terrible experience with this salon. It was my first and last experience at this salon. I called the 546 location and a sweet assistant answered the call. I explained that I needed about 4-5 inches off of my hair and wanted to get it a tad shorted than shoulder length. She mentioned that they have multi level stylists but that she recommended that I see a Level 4 stylist that would have much more experience in a shorter style. When I arrived I met with the sweet assistant that got me prepped for my haircut with Mariah. She washed and set up the station for Mariah. Mariah was back and forth between myself and another client. I shower her 4 images of the look that I was hoping to achieve. I mentioned that I just didn't want my hair hitting my neck and kicking outward. I hoped it would lay nice with an easy blow dry and product. She used this rubber mat and we chatted. I had scheduled with full experience which was about $60 some dollars as compared to the express cut that she also offers. She styled my hair with a round brush and a blow dryer and did some dry cut as well. When she finished my hair was all curled and looked good from the front. I paid and tipped well and went on my way. When I got home that night and was prepping for bed I realized that I had been walking around with 2 very long tails of hair on each side of the back of my head!! This clump of hair was a good 3 inches longer than the rest of my hair was was curled up into the hair style. Just sick, I pulled out the business card and texted Mariah that night. I explained that I was leaving town early the next morning and needed to see how to get this fixed. She asked for me to be in the salon for a 9:30am appt and I said "yes!" and thanked her. The next morning I was on my way to the appointment when she texted me around 9:14 to let me know that she wouldn't be to the salon until 9:45 now. I was on my way so I said ok, but that I would just wait in the salon until she arrived. I also mentioned how the back hair was all kicking out terribly and how I was in a rush to leave town. She assured me she would need no more than 5 minutes to fix all of the issues. I arrived in the empty parking lot and waited and waited. He co-worked finally showed up about 9:42 and I walked into the salon at 9:45. I explained to the co-worked that I was waiting for Mariah for a 9:30 appointment that was pushed back to 9:45. A few minutes later the assistant walked in and recognized me from my appointment. I told her I was waiting for Mariah to fix my hair and showed her the tail that was left behind. At this point she assures me that she sees the tail and says she will text Mariah to make sure she will be here soon as I mention to her that I'm needing to leave soon which I had told Mariah in the beginning. Thankfully after 9:47 the other stylist comes over and looks at my cut with the assistant and says, "Just get in my chair, I'm so sorry!") I get in her chair and I'm holding back the tears that I'm going to be leaving town with such a terrible cut. When the new stylist was more than half way done with this longer than 5 minute cut, Mariah finally walks in the door. She comes back out of the employee room and asks if we are getting it taken care of, and I couldn't even speak to her. The stylist finished and refused the tip. I told her that I would starting crying if she didn't take the tip as she had done nothing wrong in the beginning and fixed a problem that wasn't hers. Thankfully she took the tip and I was able to brag that I spent almost $100 at this salon in less than 24 hours for a hair cut that was not where near anything that I has shown Mariah in the beginning. I have random layers in the back and very long clumps in the front. The hair doesn't lay nicely at all around my neck. The 2nd stylist did do an amazing job and I'm thankful that I could go on my trip no thanks to Mariah. I'm not sure how I got roped into this level 4 stylist that wouldn't take the time to make sure she cut all of my hair and even worse, made a recovery appointment and then was almost 20 minutes late. I value her time and my time. When I called it was explained that Mariah is also the manager for that location. The customer service is very lacking. To even further prove this, I called the other location to speak to the owner privately about this matter and was told I would receive a call back the next week when she was back from vacation. I have waited all week and no phone call. I would steer clear of Mariah at this salon. I'm so embarrassed that I walked around with these tails all day and had no clue. All Mariah had to do was show up on time for my appointment. I know that they wouldn't allow customers to show up that late for an appointment so they should value the customer's time as well. I have shown my friends around town and they couldn't believe the cut and experience that Twisted Sisters Salon provided. I would avoid Mariah!!! Very Disappointed.

I have very long natural hair and I wanted a simple trim and framing long layers. And I left with a botched bang instead. I cannot even put in words how heartbroken I am. Zoe cut my hair. I grew my hair for 3 years now from a bob and have it so messed it is breaking my heart. I cannot even blend it to make it less visible. I feel very self conscious now and I feel ashamed of my hair. I wish I never came that day. Because now it will take months to regrow and the emotional toll it takes on me is immense, and my self esteem is at bottom low. I encourage stylist who cannot cut hair to get more training and experience. Please for the love of GOD if you cannot cut hair or cannot do a certain haircut just DONT DO IT. I rather you say "hey I don't feel comfortable with this haircut" rather than you messing my hair up and I have to be stuck with this horror for months on my face. Unfortunately this was my favorite place for me and my girls to go for years get our hair done but i won't be back. This has been very traumatic and emotionally devastating for me.

I have always had nice, thick, and generally long hair. However during quarantine I did some diy hair dye and hair cuts. Constantly trying to dye my own hair and lifting color myself damaged the lower half of my hair to where it was constantly frizzy, tangled, and there was a lot of breakage. I tried to do hair masks every two days to try to get my hair back to its normal healthy state, but no luck. So I went in to Method Salon to chop off all of the damaged hair. I told Tim, as I have told all of my past hairdressers, to do whatever he thought would look best and to cut off what was needed to make my hair look healthy! Tim did a fantastic job of working with me to find a style that would flatter my face shape and making sure that I was ok with the length! I ended up buying two of the products that Tim used on my hair too-- the Oribe Dry Shampoo and the Oribe Split End Seal. They smell heavenly and make my hair look like I just stepped out of a salon. I am so glad to be back to getting compliments on my hair!

I love the nail bar concept rather than individual stations. This would be incredible for a party of bridesmaids or any other group that wants their nails done together! She doesn't weigh it down with heavy product and is able to get a curl to stick when styling! Not to mention she gives the best scalp massages, this is really why I get haircuts! ‍ Another thing I really appreciate is that they have a front desk person. They notify the stylist you've arrived so you don't have to wait long and they help with payments and appointment scheduling. I get text reminders when I have an appointment coming up. I've bought product here and been happy with it too. Probably most important and what you're interested in--the price feels reasonable. I can come and walk out with both a cut and a tip for around $50. This, aside from my relationship with my stylist, is one of the main reasons I've consistently returned. If you're new to the area, The Beauty Bar is a great hairdresser to try out. See if Ella has a free spot for you!

Location…read moreis far from convenient given that I live downtown, but I followed the strong reviews and it didn't disappoint. I'm not one to enjoy getting haircuts as I often feel they take too much time, and the price somehow magically grows without me knowing. However, that wasn't the case at Kiss Kiss Bang Bang Salon. From the minute I walked in the door, the energy was high and it really felt like the staff enjoyed one another. There was good energy buzzing throughout the space. I was quickly greeted and offered and snack and drink and I was ushered back on time. The cut was thorough and down to business - cherry on top? A scalp and neck massage. I was lucky enough to be paired with Lianna who unbeknownst to me, is a curl expert and nailed my haircut. I'll definitely be booking with her for my next hair cut. It was such a joy to see my hair "alive" again. Thank you so much!

I…read morerequested a very basic hair cut, no layers, didnt even need face framing, just chop off 8in. I didn't want/need a special curly cut, just needed someone to cut off 8inches and diffuse my hair, and let me leave. I was so incredibly clear with what I wanted. I said, "my hair is curly and will shrink up. Do not cut more than this amount off." The lady said "do you want it at your collarbone? I said "no. I want it longer, I want it at least to here" and i pointed to more than 4in below my collarbone. I was very clear. The lady washed my hair, and pulled my hair behind me and started cutting. I couldn't see what she was doing but she was cutting WAY shorter than we had talked about. It's above my collarbone before even getting dried. I have had my fair share of bad haircuts, but this is by far the worst. As it dries, it looks like a triangle or something from the 70s. It seems the woman was confused in what I asked for, but I wish she either communicated that she wasn't comfortable cutting my hair or asked for clarification. She also decided to turn a large portion of my hair into what I would describe as "curtain bangs". Interesting choice, especially on my curly hair. I did not want a blowout, just asked for a brief diffuse with the blow dryers. She acted like she didn't know what she was doing with the diffuser. I was charged $100 before tip. The pricing is not transparent or clear at all. Stylist was very nice but even with good vibes, you have to listen to customers. I will not be returning to any of the kisskissbangbang locations, and I will be telling everyone I know to steer clear, seems like the stylist could use some help with spatial awareness after the black cape goes on, since where you point is not as visible when wearing the cape.
